Sorry, still on summer break here, which means I am running around doing activities with kidlet. Not sure what everyone else's excuse is. :)
(School here doesn't start until after Labor Day. It's mandated by state law. This is also why our summer break didn't start until mid June.)

Given this is a Discussion Forum, here's my thoughts on what I know:
1) Paizo needs to make more books, and sell more books, so they are going to get 'fuzzy' with definitions and leave it up to the players, who own and manage their campaigns, to determine the differences. That might be the crux of frustrations for many folks-- realizing that while a new 'book' (and rules) might be cannon and all that, they ultimately have final say; as Lynora invoked after reviewing things. It avoids nit picking words.
2) Psychic versus psionic on a very simple level, IMHO, are identical abilities. Magic and Psionic, per the rules, are considered identical (manipulation of universal energies, effectively) where one is use of knowledge or innate internalized power, while the latter is your mind altering reality, using universal power(s)/energies. Just call them the same, life's easier. It, again, IMHO, depends on the campaign and what all.
3) For the purpose of people who might like to min-max, they look at the RAW, versus RAI, and use that as a spring board to argue their points or enjoy the 'power' that these 3rd Party or Paizo generated classes have. It's a common thing, really.
tl;dr: They're both mental abilities, thus, IMHO, identical sources.

Hey, guys. I just wanted to apologize for my lack of posting. The oldest child of some old friends was killed in a car accident last week. Texting while driving they think. So it's been pretty emotional at my house. Anways, I find I'm having a hard time with some of my storylines right now because they're feeling a little too real. So I'm taking a little bit of a break to deal with real life drama before I get back to game drama. Please be patient with me. Thanks.

Alright, took me a while, but I think I've tracked everybody down.
The guard trio pretty much got dropped. They were last seen eating lunch with Hestia and Lucas. Lucas has since moved on. Fair to assume that they are wandering around somewhere.
I hadn't actually started the intended incident with Ignace and Phaedra. I'll have to correct that.
Still no idea where Janie is. You know what this means? Same thing it always mean....time for shenanigans. :)
Miss Jones is kinda in limbo at the moment. Looks like that conversation with the Headmaster will have to wait. Again. He's only got himself to blame when he ends up with almost no warning before [spoiler]. ;P
Pan: still no idea. But it's lunchtime, so probably flirting.
The scene with Ryleh and Shees and Al has totally stalled out. I think it might be time for a training montage, Al.
