Okay, I want to try this. Because I'm weird like that. I am going to run... a warrior cats Post by Post RP.
A few things
One, I will be playing a DMPC, as leader of the clan.
Two, this is set in Galaron, but with warrior cats.
Three, umm... all names must be approved by me
Four, No, you don't get money. You're call cats.
Five, the clan is called DragonClan
Six, if you don't know warriors, just ask me.
Seven, I'm a massive nerd.
Eight, Do you really think this is going to work?
Nine, No, I don't have a plot yet.
Ten, I'll come up with a plot soon.

Warrior, rogue, bard, fighter, barbarian, monk, oracle or cleric is allowed for class choices. And yes, everyone plays a cat from the MM. ^_^
I may allow other classes, but magic will really be toned down.
still, in a world where magic is everday, why wouldn't cats have it too if they're anything like warrior cats in "our world"

            I have two questions.
1) Where are you going to get avatars for people? Are there even any Cat like images available?
2) Why would you not allow the Ninja class? Every one knows teh ultimate thing to be is a Ninja kitty! (^_^)
I think there are a few kitty images.
And two... of course you can use ninja, ninja is an alt class for rogue after all.
Heck, I may even allow pally kitties :P
This is more for fun and sillyness than anything

Some stuff to use for the names, I an VERY fussy about warrior cat names
Nifty name rules
Nifty Prefixes
Nifty Suffixes
Of course, since this is set in a Pathfinder setting, things for the Bestiaries will be allowed too.

Sorry I got distracted by shiny robots! I'm still a little confused about the following?
Depends on what rank in the clan they are
Apprentices are level 1-3, warriors are level 3-10, senior warriors are level 10-15
Str -2
Dex +6
Con +2
Wis +6
Cha +4There, those stats should work just fine

| Mystic_Snowfang |

You asked for the stats to add to your cat
You roll the dice normally, then add the stats
str1d20 - 2d6 ⇒ (15) - (4, 2) = 9
1d20 + 6 ⇒ (3) + 6 = 9
con1d20 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 2 = 3
Wis 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (18) + 6 = 24
Cha 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (20) + 4 = 24
Int 1d20 ⇒ 17
As for the other thingy
Apprentices are cats that are still training and have names that end in paw. Any character who is anapprentice is level 1-3
Once they pass level 3 they are warriors, and remain so until level 10, at level ten and up they are senior warriors
This is all in response to your question
"I was going to ask the same question. Do we use the stat adjustments on pg297? What level do our kitties start at?"

you should probably do a points buy for stats, so it more equal footing

Sorry..a bit confused here. We are rolling d20's for stats then adding (or subtracting) the given bonsus'? So mine would look like this:
STR 1d20 - 2 ⇒ (8) - 2 = 6
DEX 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (13) + 6 = 19
CON 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (14) + 2 = 16
WIS 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (4) + 6 = 10
CHA 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (1) + 4 = 5
INT 1d20 ⇒ 15
Is this right??

LOL...yeah, they were not that great...and I was only trying to make an example so I would understand what we were dealing with...will try to get it setup tonight....and I will pass on the naming to you...while I have read a number of the warrior books to my kids, I think you probably have a better flair for naming :-)

I'll need to know your cats personality and skills (not stats, but what they're good at characterwise)
Or better, you could start them as a level 3 (apprentice) with a prefix (based on their looks, animals from Patfhinder are fair game, So long as they don't have to many syllables in their names.) and the suffix of paw. That way I can give them a suffix (playing the leader who will NOT be going on the mission)
In fact...
okay
This game will be starting at level 3 with everyone playing either newly named warriors (if you want to come up with a name on your own) or Apprentices (if you want me to give you a suffix)

I think for languages he might take dog and bat (if bat is a language..maybe rodent??)
He is a black cat (of course..LOL) with a white band around his left fore-paw. He is generally friendly and approachable, but keeps his own council. He follows an old saying, 'it is better to be quiet and thought a fool, then to open your mouth and remove all doubt.'
His mystic powers set him apart from the other animals around him, and his bat familiar make him seem more mysterious than he actually is. As a healer he can take charge of a situation, when needed, but is also comfortable taking orders for a chief cat. A strong and steady second in command.

Prehaps when he's old enough to have taken on his own apprentice. At his age (level 2) He'd still be an apprentice.
But we can start with the warriors ceremony
(Bats wouldn't speak rodent, they'd likely speak bat.)
As for a name,
Rookpaw, Crowpaw, Shadowpaw, Nightpaw, Darkpaw, Blinkpaw, Snakepaw, Patherpaw....
take your pick

Mystic, you have caught my attention yet again.
One question. Since we are level 3, and the messageboards don't allow you to change your name after ten posts, are we going to still be Paws?
Dex: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (3) + 6 = 9
Con: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (19) + 2 = 21
Int: 1d20 ⇒ 9
Wis: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (8) + 6 = 14
Cha: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (6) + 4 = 10
Dex: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (11) + 6 = 17
Con: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 2 = 4
Int: 1d20 ⇒ 15
Wis: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (8) + 6 = 14
Cha: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (8) + 4 = 12
Unless you want to me to roll again, I think I'll go with the first one. Let's see, not flexible in body or mind... Ranger could work, or Druid.
I could go with the second set if I played a Synthesist Summoner, calling upon ancestor's strength to make up for his weak frame.

I'll start with the naming ceremony, that way it should only take five posts at the MOST
Then you'll no longer be paws
*nods sagely*
Either one, though the summoner works for a better backstory. Prehaps they were born with a some sort of problem with their lungs or heart, since a phyical disabillity would be probmenatic for that high dex.
Oracle makes a good class too.
