I have a question while we wait, if I may. Your campaign info says we're playing a game with Epic leveling (like epic 6 or epic 10) without the leveling cap. What does that mean, exactly?

Ah, I see. That works. XD Crazy bonuses are always fun. So I should expect more suspiciously pants colored gadgets in the future?
And, as a side note, the pants colored sling is all the more mysterious because Arthur doesn't know how to sew very well. XD

Alright, first post going up shortly. Before I do that, though, one final thing: Posting rules, since I don't think I made all these clear earlier.
1) Please don't put anything ooc in the gameplay thread, including dice rolls. If you do something that requires a dice roll to determine further action, just make it two posts, the first stating your intended action, the second the result and reaction. Or just put up your intended action and I can make the rolls/reaction post for you, if you like.
The reason for this is that I'd like to keep the gameplay thread reading as much like a flowing narrative as possible.
2) I'm a completely unabashed jerk about spelling and grammar. Mistakes get made, I know, and Paizo's forums don't allow us to go back and fix them a lot of the time (grr!), but I'm begging you, do your best to check your writing for mistakes before posting.
3)Languages get weird - if you're speaking in anything other than Common, make sure you say so. I mean, you don't have to say, "in Elven", every single time you speak in the middle of a conversation, but make a note of when you're switching back and forth.
4) Feel free to take a little creative license, but within reason. If your action involves another character, that's fine by me, just try not to post anything that the player would object to. Slapping someone on the shoulder without waiting for player response is one thing - decking them is another.
5) Finally, this should be pretty clear by now, but I'm running a real casual game here - I'm a busy dude a lot of the time, and I don't expect more out of my players than I can manage. As far as I'm concerned, if you're posting several times a week, good enough for me. I think that's a good thing.
Two downsides to this, though: Number one, you have to be patient, both with your fellow players and with me. The other, if other people are really moving a scene along, but you're busy or just haven't checked in or whatever, I'll occasionally take control of your action just so you're not a total zombie during a scene. This is, of course, especially true in combat, but I reserve the right to talk for you when necessary.
I think that ought to cover it, let's hope I didn't forget anything. So without further ado, let's begin.

For reference, folks, I'll be doing a lot of off-the-boards rolling of Perception and Knowledge checks. Any you ask me for, I'll post the numbers publicly, but if I'm making secret rolls, I'm just gonna tell you what I think you need to know.

Fient bluff check as a move action: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (9) + 6 = 15
Standard action, attack with greatclub: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (15) + 5 = 20
1d10 + 6 ⇒ (9) + 6 = 15 if flat-footed: 1d6 ⇒ 5

Oh, as a tip to anyone! if the edit button isn't showing up, here's a trick I learned. Favorite the post you want to edit, unfavorite it, then refresh. It should show up then. It works for me at least.

Attempted sneak attack with a greatclub. I love it.
I just noticed this - Basher, well done naming your individual caveat bonuses. Gold star for you.
If you'd like to step down at this point, Basher, just indicate it and I'll move the scene along. Thought I'd give you guys the chance to respond first.

Hey guys, sorry about skipping out on you the last few days. I got distracted by life for a few days, and then just yesterday stumbled upon something that demanded my immediate attention re: this game.
Namely, this.
http://paizo.com/products/btpy8voq?Pathfinder-Roleplaying-Game-Mythic-Adven tures-Playtest
The Mythic Adventures Playtest. I'm only partway through the pdf at this moment, but I do believe I'll be using at least some of these rules in the live version of this game, and since the point of this is to playtest my ideas for that, I want to familiarize myself with them and possibly incorporate them into this.
To that end (and I'm sorry to do this to you so short a time after we've gotten started), we're gonna be pausing for a bit. Not ending permanently, I promise! I would feel way too terrible to put you through all the work you've already done to not keep this going. But, I want to parse the new material and figure out what I want to use before you guys start getting into the more numbers-heavy bits.
So what I'm gonna do, if this works for you, is private message all of you when I'm ready to pick this thing back up - shouldn't be too long, but this stuff's gonna interact oddly with a lot of the homebrew weirdness I had planned, and I need a little time to integrate it right.
If this is too much of an annoyance and you'd rather just back out, I'm terribly sorry, and I'd understand. If, on the other hand, you'd still like to see where all this madness is leading, I'd encourage (though not require) you to pick up the playtest yourself and give it a perusal. There's some interesting stuff there.
Again, sorry about this. I know it's been a long road just to finally get started, but them's the breaks with a testing situation.

I've seen all the traffic Mythic has been making on the forums, but I hadn't felt the time to dig into it. You've put a +1 in that column.
If you're inactivating this, would you flag it such? So that it takes one line instead of 12 on my campaigns list?
I'll watch for the PM (well, actually, it's a red thing I sometimes see, sometimes don't, but will soon enough after.) :)

As much as I don't mind waiting for something this fun, I want to clarify that I am still waiting for something that's going to happen. Am I the only one still interested in this game?
I'm kinda lucky that it didn't start up when my own reality break happened but all the same I haven't heard a peep from anyone in this great game since the pause.
