Confusion is an area effect. You might be able to get more than one...Sorry but I cannot see the map at the moment...

Round 3 (continued)

Jolyrin comes off of delay. She casts vanish and then enters the room.

Marnarius delays.

Rataji casts confusion on the one with the gun. Will save DC20: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (18) + 4 = 22

The musketeer shakes his head for a moment, but manages to throw off Rataji's spell. Then his eyes narrow and he aims and fires at Rataji.
musket: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (17) + 12 = 29- hit!
damage: 1d12 + 1d12 + 9 ⇒ (9) + (5) + 9 = 23

The half-orc shrieks, "It's a trap!" and casts a spell. A tiny bead of fire flies from her hand and explodes in a ball of fire!
(The door prevents the bad guy by the door and Jolyrin from being in the area of effect.)
Fire damage: 7d6 ⇒ (3, 6, 6, 6, 2, 3, 5) = 31

Zurnzal is up! Also note, both Shohiraj and Rataji have been badly wounded in this exchange. Map is now public.

First, wow, we have really screwed this one up. I hope we can recover.Second 322 had delayed until just after his companions acting first went. So she should go after the confusion spell and before any of the enemy act. Not sure how to reconcile that now. I had planned to move her into the room... Please recommend a solution.

Crap, I missed the conditional. You can have moved into the room before the bad guys act, and take your standard action now (before Zurnzal).

Map fixed.

322 enters the room moving silently and move a total of 30 going east and then southeast. Can't move my token. She readies to dispel any spell the caster might cast. Since she knows Dispel Magic she can do this a number of times and I do not think that will end her invisibility. If summoning does not, a dispel should not, right?

Stealth: 1d20 + 14 + 20 - 5 ⇒ (13) + 14 + 20 - 5 = 42 -5 is for not moving at half speed.

Use my Shirt Reroll on thisReflex (ReRoll +4*): 1d20 + 10 + 4 ⇒ (18) + 10 + 4 = 32

I also uses my Cloak of Fiery Vanishing: Once per day, when subject to an effect that deals fire damage, Shohiraj can become invisible as an immediate action, leaving behind an illusory pile of ashes and bones, as if she had been slain by the fire effect. Shohiraj’s invisibility and her illusory remains last for 5 rounds or until she attacks any creature.
Creatures that study or interact with the ashes can make a DC 11 Will save to disbelieve the illusion, though this does not end the invisibility effect

Yes, counterspelling will void invisibility. Still want to do it? Everyone else hold while we see what happens here, since it may be a huge retcon issue... :/

AC19(T15,FF14) CMD21| HP 40/45| F +3 R +10 W +6 | Init +5, Perc +12, Sense Motive +12 |

@322 If you want to counterspell you must first make a spellcraft check DC15+Spell level.
If the target of your counterspell tries to cast a spell, make a Spellcraft check (DC 15 + the spell's level). This check is a free action. If the check succeeds, you correctly identify the opponent's spell and can attempt to counter it. If the check fails, you can't do either of these things.

I will roll it as part of the retcon... wait one please.

EDIT: Dispel Magic as a Counterspell: You can usually use dispel magic to counterspell another spell being cast without needing to identify the spell being cast. Dispel magic doesn't always work as a counterspell (see the spell description).

*** RETCON ***

Note: Because of the foreknowledge, I am going to re-roll the counterspell roll when I re-post the results, since you had already seen the roll before deciding for sure you were going to do it.

Round 3 (continued)

Jolyrin comes off of delay. She casts vanish and then enters the room.

Marnarius delays.

Rataji casts confusion on the one with the gun. Will save DC20: d20+4 => (18) + 4 = 22 (same results as above)

322 moves into the room and readies to counter-spell.

The musketeer shakes his head for a moment, but manages to throw off Rataji's spell. Then his eyes narrow and he aims and fires at Rataji.
musket: 1d20 + 12 => (17) + 12 = 29 - hit!
damage: 1d12+1d12+9 => (9) + (5) + 9 = 23 (same results as above)

The half-orc shrieks, "It's a trap!" and casts a spell, triggering 322's readied action.
Counterspell: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (19) + 7 = 26

The spell fizzles, its magic draining away, as 322 becomes visible.

Zurnzal drinks his potion, disappears, and moves into the room.

The paladin closes the door, which clicks as is slams to. She then steps towards The Professional holds her sword at the ready. "Drop your weapons or die," she states matter-of-factly. You can see a wayfinder hanging around the paladin's next, and it feels you with disgust... Will save: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (2) + 6 = 8

Shohiraj is sickened and feels an uncontrollable urge to leave the vicinity of the wayfinder!

Jolyrin also sees the wayfinder and has the same feelings of disgust. Will save: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (17) + 7 = 24 Jolyrin is also sickened, but doesn't feel the urge to leave the vicinty.

Jolyrin will use a Swift action to enhance her kukri with keen and frost, move up to the gunner, then cast a shocking grasp defensively (breaking her invisibility) Concentration: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (1) + 11 = 12, but her spell fizzles. Wow, that stinks. And I already used my reroll. Poo!

Man, I am slipping... sorry for that. Marnarius, there were no charge lanes open - both people you could see had obstacles in front of them or weren't straight-line movement. I will move you into the room before the start of round 4, since the paladin just closed the (locked) door on you...

At the end of Round 3, Marnarius moves forward and sees the paladin behind the door, swinging once and hitting her hard, despite the cover from the open door.

Round 4 (adjusted)

"Well, that settles that," mutters the paladin. She attacks Marnarius three times with her greatsword, with unnatural speed! However, all three attacks miss.

The Professional gives in to her urge to flee, taking a full withdrawl action.

Jolyrin appears in front of the gunner, as her spell fizzles.

The musketeer is surprised to see Jolyrin appear right in front of his musket. Drawing on his mastery of the musket, he fires and reloads faster than sight, shooting three times! The first shot provokes an attack of opportunity:
