Congrats, guys. We have a few things still to clean up in this module, but we're effectively done with Book 3! Halfway done in less than three years, and I think the next two books especially are going to be a LOT of fun. Really looking forward to both of them.

So, upon further consideration, I think instead of taking Split Slot as an arcane discovery, I'll take arcane builder (wands) instead.
I've been steering for staff-like wand pretty hard for a while now, and cutting crafting time for wands by 1/4 seems like it could have some good long term dividends. Plus, if I take that discovery now, I can craft my replacement scorching ray wand (which we've been discussing prior to us hitting LEVEL 7) in just 4 days (32 hours) instead of 6 (48 hours).
Also, I just now discovered the rules for crafting while adventuring. I will keep these in mind for future reference and for the making of nice things for the rest of you whilst we travel!

That said, I was planning to just have you make your way back to the Hut having performed the ritual for Ratibor in my next update, with the next scene figuring out what happens with him. I would love to keep the cookbook as it seems super sweet, but Malavarius sadly doesn't have any of the metamagic feats that the book works with.

Cookbook is 21,500 gpHammer is 24,524 gp.

Provided no one claims any of the items above, that results in a total take away of 84,647 gp.
A five-way split leaves us with 16,929.40 gp per person.
For adding the wild enchantment (a +3 equivalent) to Hektir's already +1 armor, we're looking at a cost to craft of 7,500 gp, a DC 19 spellcraft check since I lack the baleful polymorph prereq, and 15 days.
For adding flaming to Tsin's existing +1 falchion, it's a crafting cost of 3,000 gp, a DC 15 spellcraft check, and 6 days. If she'd prefer flaming burst instead, that'd be a cost of 8,000 gp, a DC 22 check, and 16 days.
For crafting Malavarius' wand, it's a crafting cost of 8,250 gp, a DC 21 spellcraft for pumping up the CL by 1, and a crafting time of 12 days (would be 16, but it's reduced thanks to his latest Arcane Discovery).
In all cases, Malavarius can nail the spellcraft check in his sleep by taking 10, so those are totally moot. This is doubly helpful as it would allow him to craft at twice the speed by increasing the DC to craft each item by 5. Even then, he still passes handily by taking 10.
So we'd be looking at 8 days for Hektir's armor, 8 days for the stronger enchantment for Tsin's sword, and 6 days for Malavarius' new wand. 22 days still seems like a lot though.
Edit: If Tsin would prefer flaming and keen, the cost and time would be equal to those of flaming burst.

So it's 22 days, unless Quinn or Pems would enjoy something? I'm happy to loan for bigger ticket items, since our wealth is a little skewed at present.

And, if necessary, Hektir can kick in a bit extra to Mal so that we can buy the wand rather than crafting it? I think we can make it happen, right?

I think I have another possible solution: if Malavarius took the Arcane Builder discovery for magic arms and armor, he could do flaming for Tsin's falchion in 2 days, Hektir's wild in 6 days, and his own precious wand in 8 days.
This would all be a lot easier if Hektir wasn't such a diva about getting a +3 enhancement to his already +1 armor while poor Quinn is still tromping around in masterwork stuff. =P
