It was just bones, dried flesh and old stones. Trophies of a ghoul king!

Cyrus did find iron bits: 3d6 ⇒ (1, 4, 5) = 10 on his body and an unholy symbol. There are 2 iron bits to the copper.

Just a note. I'll be mostly out the next couple of days, beginning about lunch time tomorrow. I've got a road trip to watch my basketball team in the ncaa tourney tomorrow night, heading directly back home and sleeping about two hours before heading to work on Friday. I'll probably pass out after work on Friday, and it will be Saturday before I get back into the swing of things, then hopefully I'll be heading back on the road trip for the next tourney game, not getting back until late Saturday night. I'm sure I'll have some time to post sporadically, but don't freak out if I'm not here as much as normal for a bit.

Perfect, brv. Run the dwarf as you see fit!
Edit: I'm a Kentucky graduate, Lucky, so I'm rooting for the favorite. They are playing about 3 and a half hours from me, so I have to go cheer them on!
brvheart |
I went to EIU. They haven't been in a tourney since they were division II I think! Sounds fun, enjoy! My gamers all consider me a dwarf so I can RP it well:)

I'm looking forward to the Rugby World Cup in England in September. Canada's in the same group as France and Ireland, which sucks. The USA is in it even tougher, since they're in the same group as South Africa and Samoa. Oh well, Canada and the USA might pull out a surprise win or two, who knows?
I'm Canadian, of course. But I've been to South Africa, so I'm also a big fan of the Springboks.

FYI, it is your turn Turvijagal:) Had to match the alias up. I do that once in awhile myself. I am more of an American Football Fan myself. I think I played soccer in 7th grade back in the dark ages with a stone ball.

When I was in school at UK, I used to party with the ruggers (we had a club team), and there was no one that could drink like a rugby player!

I just know, in my youth I was heavy into martial arts. Karate 2 styles Taekwondo, Hap kido, Shaolin, Wing Tsung and a few more obscure ones. Also usually full contact, but in full body armor, to prevent serious damage. Didn´t work out all the time, but thats a another story.
In the summer I usually went to summer school in great britain. Once the played rugby in the park, and I asked if I could join. I thought, stupid in my youth as I was, that it wouldn´t be that bad. Boy was I in for a surprise. Afterwards ... I did not crawl from the field, but that was pure willpower. Since that day, I am an all black... and all backs fan(The new zeeland paralympic rugby team. And if you think rugby players are lunatics... wait till you meet wheelchair rugby players....)
Turvijagal |
Wheelchair Rugby? Yikes!
I'm still a big fan of the Springboks. I was so miffed when they were knocked out of the last RWC by Australia. Not just because the Wallabees won, but because they looked awful and still won. Oh well, if these things were predictable, they'd be no fun, really.

I was in there it should have gotten me as well, I was only down 1

March Madness is delaying us a tad at present. That is ok, tomorrow is the wife's birthday. Hopefully things will get back to normal soon:)
Ulfgard Strongarm |
Oh it is. We spend all day long in the west berlin zoo, watching many many animals with our baby daughter. Already back in the hotel, no night life for us. Apart from the 3. 5. and 6. clock wakeup call from the terrorgirly, wanting her midnight snacks.
BTW lions are massive and loud...

If we rest, I can create 2 vials of Holy Water plus with some RPing, perhaps we can convince Almery to create a similar amount for us as well. Give those with the best Ranged ability those vials and if we can scrape up any lamp oil then use it.
In this instance, I think the holy water solution might be the quickest and most cost effective. Although, it will tap me out of anything besides my positive energy bursts and 0 orisons for the rest of the day.
Thoughts?

I think we all are a bit confused right now.
I think Ulfguard shut the door on his turn in initiative, right? If so, I think we've decided to look into at least one more room before exiting and getting a rest, and coming back tomorrow to deal with those swarms, correct?
"Lucky" Cyrus |
I agree with Hagrym, as it seems we lost the bubble with the time gapping that PbP puts on us.
I second vote for hitting the obvious doors we have seen and then pulling out. I don't think the baddies are here, or maybe they are and we can just camp outside the way we came in vs going all the way back to town in case we can catch them exiting now that we have cut a chunk out of the local undead population.
Naomi Chadwick |
agreed, couple more doors then out, who wants to check the double doors to the north, the thief or do one of you two dwarves what the job?
Naomi Chadwick |
I realize now that I should have had Naomi go up or down the rope after the attack, so she did not block the rope. on as separate note brv
DESCRIPTION
During your bardic performance, you can strike a chord whose notes transform into a shower of razor sharp, crystalline shards. The shards deal 2d6 points of piercing damage to all creatures caught in the area of effect.
so if its "during the bardic performance" does that mean instead of "inspire courage" or was the "inspire courage" still going during the two rounds she cast, it will be good to know for future references.
brvheart |
It does state that you can only have one working at a time. She could have gone down another 5'.
Naomi Chadwick |
that's why I'm asking, is it a separate performance or is it "striking a chord" during a performance, sort of like hitting an off note? I'm good either way, it just seems like it can be used while the other is still going on.
brvheart |
The chord of shards is a spell and takes a standard. You can maintain your performance as a free action so I would say yes for now.

a little housekeeping, how are we tracking loot? speaking of which lets disassemble the palanquin and take it with us:)
Naomi Chadwick |
take your time, also I'm planning on having Naomi give you the wand of CLW so you can practice "healing" if that's ok

This is all I have us listed as finding thus far, but our DM will know if I have missed anything along the way. Let me know if it is broken down ok, or I can tweak it anyway you guys would like.
Edit: I promise that I will start RPing Lucky as a more traditional cleric now that Zors/the universe has data dumped ~How to be a functional Priest in a Non-Functional World~ into his head. Thanks to everyone for humoring me while I RP'ed some of this transition.

A couple more fights and we are looking at hitting second level! Just got to make sure Naomi is alive to hit it with us...

Too bad getting her another level wont make her save any better...
