LoreMaster GM |
You are recent fast-tracked graduates of the Starfinder society academy. Having just endured (or perhaps enjoyed) your graduation ceremony, you have been ushered into the Lorespire Complex for your "Commencement" mission.
As the doors to the Lorespire Complex slide open, a green holographic image of a middle-aged human woman shimmers into view at the center of the room. “Greetings,” it says. “I am Guidance. Please use the cheek swabs in the open receptacle to provide a genetic sample for Starfinder Society identification purposes. If desired, you may place your hand on the glowing panel to receive a subdermal implant further marking you as a member of the Society.”
This implant rests underneath the skin of the palm of one hand, or at the end of a tentacle or similar appendage in species that lack hands. The augmentation can be activated or deactivated mentally as a swift action. Activating the implant causes a rendition of the Starfinder Society’s symbol to glow underneath the skin. This augmentation acts as a mark, letting others know you are a member of the Starfinder Society. It also increases the light level within 5 feet by one step while active
Feel free to give a description of yourself and introduce yourself. Please include if you took the implant;.
Alzandre Dufau |
A 5'6", 150# human wanders in wearing traveling clothes and looks around. "Looks like I'm the first."
Alzandre takes the implant.
Friye Leekay |
A young woman arrives in a light brown jumpsuit, although you can see the telltale signs of a suit of Second Skin underneath. She introduces herself with a smile.
Hi, I'm Friye. I'll be the mechanic, or at least one of them. Are you excited for the adventu...
She is interrupted by the sudden appearance of a small drone bounding in and climbing up her leg to perch on her shoulder.
Friye Leekay |
Kitty! Not now. I'm introducing us. Anyway, nice to meet ya!
Friye takes the implant and spends a few minutes examining it with wonder.
Volkzari |
A seven-foot-tall Vesk enters through the doors of the Lorespire Complex. She has golden scales, although each individual scale is slightly gray-tipped and has a dull sheen that looks a little off, if you're used to vesk apperances. Her eyes also appear slightly sunken. A fist-sized mote of clear blue light circles idly around her head.
She listens to Guidance's greeting and then walks docilely up to where the hologram indicated. "Cheek swab, huh? The readings may come out a bit weird, but here you go." She offers the genetic sample and holds out her left hand to accept the implant. She flexes her claws and activates and deactivates the little mark a couple times while watching it flick on and off.
Only then does she look around at the others who are starting to gather. She jumps abruptly into the conversation. "I'm Volkzari. I don't know about adventure... I'm looking forward to getting this over with, actually. I met a venture-captain recently, and was trying to make some small talk. She asked if I'd had my commecement yet, and I had to say no. Ground the conversation to a halt." She sighs dramatically.
Volkzari peers down at the small drone on Friye's shoulder. "A drone that's a cat?" she asks blankly.
Captain Quentin Dexter Hawthorn |
Entering the room holding a cup of coffee, the distracted human walks up to the genetic marker. He reads and swabs his cheek. He winces slightly as the sub-dermal tracker is implanted. His clothes are rumpled and he is clearly in need of a shave. He stops near the middle of the room, looks at the others and raises his cup, adding, "Name's Dex." He plops into the nearest chair with little fanfare. His head makes a muffled thump as his forehead hits the table.
Taking the implant.
Ceolor Xusha |
The door opens with a hiss, and a man rushes in as fast as he can. Standing straight and taking a moment to adjust his freebooter armor, it is obvious the man has the deep red skin tones that demark a Hylki from Akiton. He readjusts his medium length hair that seems to stand on end half the time, and almost brushing a small ball of pure blackness that floats lazily around the man's head. Finished with the last minute grooming, he looks around the room, smiling at people.
"Commencement Day! Commencement Day! Anybody else excited? I'm Ceolor by the way." He heads over to the cheek swab station and swabs the inside of his mouth, before oogling the giant machine in front of them. "So you're the conglomeration of past Starfinders that everyone talks about! I'm so glad to finally meet you, or at least one of you!"
He then turns and moves over to Friye, passing his hand over the implant injector on his way. With his non-implanted right hand he extends a hand to the woman. "Nice to meetcha! As I said earlier, the name's Ceolor, and you?" Finished with the hand shake he reaches over to pet the shiny metal kitty, amazed at how life like it is. "Say you wouldn't mind being included in a book, would you?"
He then turns to Alazandre giving him a beaming smile and his introduction again. "I like the googles! They do anything interesting?"
He next does his meet and greet with Volkzari. "A vesk and such lovely colors, if I may say so, madam. And, judging by the small ball of light just behind you, a fellow follower of the Cycle!"
He then finally plops into a seat next to Dex. "Fun night? If you're hungover, I know a ysoki or two who might be able to whip up something that can help."

Friye Leekay |
For the record, Kitty is not lifelike. It looks like a standard-issue stealth drone, albeit with artificial kitty ears attached for whimsy. It does seem to have the personality of a cat, however.
Captain Quentin Dexter Hawthorn |
Dex lifts his head and scowls at Ceolor. "You are a lot to take in all at once." He stares at the solarian a moment before offering, "I'm gonna need more coffee." He stands and crosses to the pot and pours himself more of the bitter brew. Returning to his seat, he again watches Ceolor as he takes a few sips, then returns his head to the table, muttering, "It's gonna be a long day."
Navasi - Iconic Envoy |
A young human woman in fashionable space farer attire walks into the room.
She looks into the room and scans your faces
"Hello everybody! I am so sorry to be a little late! But stealing the affluent’s unearned wealth and giving it to those in need just takes time!" she says beaming.
"I assume it is time for introductions. I am Navasi! Well, I heard that it is custom in the Starfinder Society to present ones skill set so the the team knows which assets to utilize!" she says with some doubt in her voice.
But a millisecond later she is speaking with a certain air of confidence "Well, I have to admit that gained a reputation in my former group as being a good fast-talker and face around. And ... well ... I cannot do much else!" she says grinning.
LoreMaster GM |
Once everyone gives their cheek samples and chooses if they want the implant or not, Guidance continues to speak. Navasi, did you want the implant?
It is our pleasure to officially welcome you into the Starfinder Society. Today is the commencement of your new role as a Starfinder field agent. It is our tradition, at the end of the graduation ceremony, for new graduates to present themselves to the heads of our most prominent factions and complete a task at those leaders’ behest. This allows the leaders of these groups to become familiar with all new Starfinder agents, and it provides a constant supply of agents for handling situations in our holdings on Absalom Station. While these tasks were formerly symbolic, the heavy loss of Starfinder agents in the Scoured Stars necessitates that these missions become something more. Please treat any tasks given with the gravity you would grant any other Starfinder assignment.
All your comm units buzz. I just sent you a short description of the factions, their leader, and location. Each of them will inform me of your progress as you go. Once the mission is complete, report back to finalize your commencement. There is a handout that talks about each faction in the link that says "1-01 Maps!" at the top of the page.
You may make a single culture check to learn about Absalom Station and open up all the spoilers that you have gotten to.
Absalom Station is the cultural hub of the Pact Worlds. Races from every planet in the system, including those once prominent on lost Golarion, can be found on the station.
People around the station are increasingly amenable to Starfinders. They respect both the dogged veteran field agents who were not lost in the Scoured Stars disaster and the new recruits, whose presence brings renewed hope. Stating one’s association with the Starfinder Society is likely to garner support from the locals of Absalom Station.
Also, you are allowed to make a single diplomacy check to gather information.
From here, the adventure is in your hands. You guys get to choose which factions you want to go to first. All factions have a mission in this one besides the Second Seekers. I will move us to the first part once you guys decide who to visit first!
Alzandre Dufau |
culture: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (15) + 4 = 19
diplomacy: 1d20 ⇒ 11
Alzandre automatically shares what he knows with the group.
I think in order will be fine.
Navasi - Iconic Envoy |
diplomacy: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (11) + 6 = 17
"Okay guys, let me do my job now! I know this place ... well any place so I can dig up some info for us." she says smiling.
After a while she is back with lots of information!
See spoilers above.
Volkzari |
Volkzari listens to these people who evidently have their ears to the ground around here, and then briefly skims the description of the factions on her comm unit. She says, “Right, well, let’s get busy impressing people. On to the first one?”
I have no preference so going in order is fine with me. Acquisitives first then?
Ceolor Xusha |
For the record, Kitty is not lifelike. It looks like a standard-issue stealth drone, albeit with artificial kitty ears attached for whimsy. It does seem to have the personality of a cat, however.
Crum-biscuits! Alright retcon!
Ceolor pulls out a full-watt smile for Dex. "Just excited, is all. Aren't you? It's our commencement, after all! But some coffee does sound like a good idea." He stands up an grabs a up of coffee as well, before ploping back down and returns the look Dex is giving him. "I'm quite serious about the hangover cure, though. 'Bubbles' Brena has one that works wonders, and you even have a choice of flavors!"
Ceolor jumps up as Navasi introduces herself. Heading over he extends his hand for a handshake. "Nice to make your aquaintance, Navasi! I'm Ceolor Xusha. And if you're looking for more people in need, I could put you in touch with a few on Akiton!"
"As for skills, I can write! Perhaps you've heard of 'Around the Pact Worlds in 80 Parsecs' or 'The Akitonians Abroad'? Other than that I'm fairly good at shooting a weapon, casuing small explosions and talking as well."
As guidance starts talking again, Ceolor quiets down, listening. He takes a second to think back on the customs he has learned of since comin to Absalom, and the info he's gathered from people.
"O, We're heading out into the Armada? There's definitely a few places out there worth visiting, and a couple I'm sure that Dex would enjoy, assuming he hasn't sworn off drinking!"

EDIT: Welp that's more infromation than I expected!
Diplomacy: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (18) + 6 = 24
Other than the Exo-Gaurdian's probably being last or second to last, I have no opinions about order. Acquisitives is fine by me!
LoreMaster GM |
As a rule of thumb, I normally move in a direction once it receives 3 votes, so Acquisitves it is!
Guidance dismisses you all. The group chooses to head to The Eye first to visit the leader of the Acquisitves in the Nyori Palisades.
The plain white doors of the office slide open to reveal a stark, dimly lit room. The chamber is bleak and expressionless in its emptiness—no vanities line its smooth black walls, and no signs of use mar its smooth black furniture. The only occupants of the suite are a bug-eyed tadpole wriggling in a glowing blue aquarium and a reptilian vesk seated behind an onyx desk. The vesk gestures to a number of chairs in front of him, his features sharply illuminated by the light of his desk’s green holoscreen. The new graduates, he greets, in a low and pleasant voice. Good day. I am Radaszam, though since you are here, I should hope you already knew.
I trust you are aware of our Society’s traditions, so I will cut to the point. I have a minor situation that needs resolution. One of our members, a human named Laboni, had a rather public altercation with a junk scavenger from the Spike. You might be more familiar with the scavenger than I, actually; he is a ysoki who fancifully calls himself Ratrod. I am told he runs a popular racing competition that has, hmm, several hundreds of thousands of viewers on the station’s infosphere. For some reason, Laboni felt the need to tell him that any ‘real’ mechanic could easily beat the garbage that Ratrod and his associates slap together. Now that Ratrod has issued an infosphere-wide demand that she race him and prove it, Laboni doubts she can back that claim up.
Embarrassing, isn’t it? Not really the sort of troublemaker that suits our Society. Perhaps she would be better suited to the bottom of a trash compactor... Well, we cannot afford to throw her out, not after so many Starfinders were lost in the Scoured Stars. Besides, we can’t let people think we are so weak that we can’t control our own members, or that we cannot stand up to a scrapyard junker. No, I would like you to assist Laboni in winning this race. Show our detractors that even the least of our Society is not someone to be trifled with.
He then sends you directions to the Botscrape and gives you all official badges to be part of the pit crew. Any questions before you head out? Just don't spend too much jabberin, you have a race to go win.
Feel free to ask questions, if you have none, let me know you are ready and we will move on. For situations like this where you may ask questions, I generally wait till everyone checks in.
Captain Quentin Dexter Hawthorn |
Dex actually perks up at the sight of Radaszam. He nods to the vesk as he raises his cup of coffee, "Nice to see you again." Other than this short exchange, he offers nothing else, including asking no questions.
LoreMaster GM |
I forgot to mention, the front page slide in the maps is now a picture of Radaszam
Friye Leekay |
Kitty purrs as Ceolor pets it. It appears to like him. Friye seems confident in her engineering skills.
I think we can help Laboni pump up her racer. Where do we go?
Alzandre Dufau |
"So, to clarify, are we to help make Laboni's racer better, to protect it from possible sabotage, or both? If we are attacked protecting her racer, will any accidental fatalities be greatly frowned upon?"
Navasi - Iconic Envoy |
Navasi starts speaking and she obviously has a lot to say "Wow, you Starfinders are very clever in this power game that is going on here on Absolom Station. So a couple of questions. How do you think we can help her win? Pimp her ride? I am no mechanic! Sabotage the other rides? Hmmm ... maybe! Or poison the other drivers so they throw up in the morning of the race? Do you want the others to know that we kick ass or play fair?"
LoreMaster GM |
Radaszam first replies to Alzandre. I would imagine a bit of both. I have never attended these races so I do not know how they work. But I know the pit crew can be extremely important in helping win a race. I am sure Laboni will be able to explain how to help. And if a fight breaks out, make sure you are not the one who started it! Limit fatalities if you can. We can't get a name for ourselves of just murdering competition. [b]
Then he addresses Navasi. [b] As I stated above, I have never been to these races. I just need you to go and do what you can to win. Do not get yourself caught cheating or else that will look even worse on us so do it within the rules given if you can. I am sure Laboni will need all the help she can get. I would not recommend using poison, this isn't that kind of mission.
Looking back at the group, Any more questions?
Friye Leekay |
Ready to move on.
Ceolor Xusha |
The junkraces! I love those! And we get to help behind the scenes? Brilliant, couldn't ask for a better assignment. I take it we're helping out the races that start later today? If so we should get moving, there's less than three hours before start time!" Ceolor gives a wide smile, before taking a short verbal memo into a small device sewn into the slightly puffy sleeves of his shirt and double checking the time with a very nearly concealed nervousness.
Volkzari |
Volkzari perks up slightly to meet a fellow vesk here. "Hm, playing by the rules but still get her to win. Sounds difficult, but I guess we'll do our best."
No further questions
LoreMaster GM |
You make your way to the Botscrap. Ratrod’s racing circuit is a hollowed-out section of a mountain of spare parts in Botscrap, the track specifically sanctioned by the ysoki-dominated Salvage Union that controls most of the yards.
A small robot checks your badges and "reminds" you of the basic rules of the race: racers and their pit crews are to build and improve their vehicles from the available scrap around the racetrack. Vehicles built at previous junkraces can return. Racers can fire upon other competitors during the race, but firing into the audience is grounds for immediate disqualification; racer weapons must be nonlethal and may affect only opponents’ vehicles.
Laboni is easy to find in the crowd due to her paisley clothes and bright white lab coat. She is in her late teens and looks worried.
When you approach her, she seems to instantly recognize you as fellow starfinders. You must be the help that Radaszam sent. She looks you all up and down. Not a single experienced race in the lot. She shakes her head. But hey, I appreciate all the help I can get here. So thanks for coming down.
She points to her race car. This is my ride! It is a basic racer that is surprisingly well built despite being built from random junk around. That said, it is pretty basic. The stats will be posted in the first slide of the maps.
She smile at a few VR remote controls. I whipped these together as well! They will help us during the race because I am not pilot nor am I any good with guns. But, with these bad boys, you guys will be able to take remote control of the car and weaponry from the pit crew!
But back to the important stuff, we have a little while to work on our car before the race. I have a few things you can do... Okay, how this works is that their are 4 "rounds" that each person can take an action. I will explain the different things you can do below. Once everyone chooses an action for round 1, we will move to round two. Remember, you only get 4 rounds.
First, the most obvious option is to help build this car up! Computers, Engineering, Perception, or Physical Science check (DC 16). When you make the roll, let me know what type of upgrade you would like to give; speed, control/stability (gives a bonus to piloting checks), targeting system (gives a bonus to hit with all weapons), energy defense (EAC), armor (KAC), adding an energy weapon, adding a kinetic weapon, or choosing one existing gun to receive a boost.
While you are working, you can try and sneak a peek at the opponents cars! It is a free action to do this while making an improvement check. Otherwise it is a full action (honestly, I have no clue why they set it up to be a full action but... it is what it is.) You may either make a sense motive check to learn some info about the racer or an engineering check to learn something about the car. Choose a racer to make the check against
Or, if you are feeling a bit dirty, you can try and mess with someone else's car! First, you need to make a stealth check (dc 20), then an engineering check (dc 15) if you succeed the stealth check. If both checks succeed, you can hinder one enemy's speed, give them a penalty to their piloting skills, or give them a penalty to their weaponry. If you fail the stealth check, you will be kicked out of the pit. If 2 of you are caught, the whole team is disqualified.
Or you could chat some people up and get some information! Each racer has their own checks and potential perks of socialization. If you choose this task, choose which racer you are socializing with, and I can give you options. At the bottom of the post, I will put a list of the other racers and a brief description.
You may take your action to aid another (dc 10). You may use a different skill to aid someone as long as it is a skill associated with the same action. (For example, someone can use perception to aid someone's physical science check to improve the car). Lastly, if you have a skill that you believe would be helpful but not listed as part of the explanation, go ahead and try it. If it makes sense, I will count it, if not, I will just ask you to retake a different action.
The other racers are:
Lemgem; a blue-haired gnome covered in piercings, tattoos, and augmentations.
Nyizin; A heavily scared female Ryphorin.
Orsis; a stoic, dark-haired lashunta who looks unfairly good in black and gold.
Ratrod; a male ysoki with mottled gray-and-white fur. Velocity; a beautiful android with silver hair and skin. They have self-modified to have both masculine and feminine attributes, and have decorated their clothing, eyelids, and lips with bright, colorful patterns.
Wow, this post took me forever to type up! I am going to save it, just in case I ever need to run this adventure again haha
Captain Quentin Dexter Hawthorn |
Why am I here again? I know nothing about cars and even less about racing. Still, can't hurt to look around I guess. Like that gnome over there. I wonder what her deal is. Dex walks around the pit area trying to muster interest in their current assignment. He then notices the concession stand and grabs a fresh cup of coffee.
Sense Motive {Lemgem}: 1d20 + 4 + 1d6 ⇒ (1) + 4 + (1) = 6
Perception {to add speed}: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (4) + 4 = 8
Friye Leekay |
Engineering: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (1) + 8 = 9
Friye confidently reaches down to inspect the fuel injector system, but Kitty helpfully helps in a helping way by dismantling the control harness.
Kitty! No!
Friye frantically replaces the harness, hoping no one notices.
Go make yourself useful and capture some vid on Nyizin, willya? And don't get caught!
Kitty sneaks off, sulking, and returns with some video of the Ryphorin working on her racer.
Sense Motive: 1d20 + 0 ⇒ (10) + 0 = 10
Most of the video appears to be a reflection on the wall from someone's shiny wrench.
LoreMaster GM |
Those are some really rough rolls... let us hope that this is not a sign of the rest of the adventure.

LoreMaster GM |
Now those are some better rolls!
Alzandre is able to improve the stability of the car, allowing it to handle like a dream.
He is able to take a peak at Ratrod's car and it looks nice! It looks pretty armored but also like it could still move fast. There is also a special property to it's armor but you can't quite identify it.
Navasi manages to build an energy weapon out of scrape laying around and easily mounts it to the car.
Her sense motive shows that she is a reckless racer. She has recently lost a close friend so we drives with like she has a death wish but also strives to win to honor her fallen companion. You believe a culture check would be useful for talking to her.

Perception to boost speed: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (3) + 5 = 8
She doesn't see any parts that she recognizes, but her wanderings do bring her close to the lashunta competitor. She lamely offers a small greeting, "Nice day for a race, isn't it?"
Sense motive, Orsis: 1d20 ⇒ 7
Ceolor Xusha |
Ceolor meanders around not entirely sure what to do first and a little star struck to be in THE Junkraces. When Navasi comes back with the information that Nyizin possibly has a death wish, he jumps up and marches over to her bay. Right in front of the bay, he takes a second to breathe and calm down, before moving in more casually. "Nyizin? Are you THE Nyizin? I'm a big fan of yours! It's an honor to meet you. Do you mind if I get an autograph?"
He hands over a towel he'd bought earlier, and a pen. "I'd heard recently that a friend of yours died, so I'm rather surprised to see you here! I know that kind of thing can be particularly hard..."
On the way back he takes a glance into Orsis's bay, curious what the good looking lashunta is up to.

LoreMaster GM |
Ceolor is able to figure out that the loss of her friend was actually more than a friend, it was her bonded dragonkin. I am not sure how much you know about this race, but I haven't read their section of the pact worlds yet or else I would load this part up with flavor... all I really know is that a Ryphorin makes a live long bond with a dragonkin. When you show your sympathy for something as traumatic as losing your bond, she warms up to you. She is unwilling to make a "team" with you but does show you a way that allows you to overload your engines. This modification allows you to press their engine during the race and double their speed for one round, but there is a 50% chance the engine could have an internal malfunction on the next round that permanently reduces the vehicle’s base speed by half.
For some reason, you are only allowed to get a free sense motive/engineering when you are working on improving your own car, not from the socialize or sabotage actions.

It just needs a gas pedal that goes all the way down, right?
Friye Leekay |
Kitty, go see what you can find out about Ratrod's armor. Don't let him see you!
Perception: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (5) + 4 = 9
This time, Kitty is distracted by a passing sweeper droid, which it stalks for several minutes before batting under a table. The actual footage retrieved of Ratrod's racer consists of mostly shots of the back of Ratrod's head.
Having dismissed her "helper", Friye takes a look at the fuel injector system.
Engineering: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (14) + 8 = 22
Hey, I think I can boost your speed by prewarming the fuel on the exhaust manifold.
Speed increase.
LoreMaster GM |
Dexter is able to pick up some information about the odd gnome. She is obsessed with continual alterations to herself and her racer, to the point where her vehicle modifications skirt the bounds of common sense. Due to her modifications and erratic driving, she will have an unpredictable speed throughout the race. Also, you think that she could be talked into a dangerous modification with a bluff check, or you think she could be talked into an alliance for the race with a diplomacy check.

In your next post, please give a brief description of surface level thoughts about this car (i.e. if you like it or not.) You hear him say You may look, but don't even think about touching it!
His car is bulky. It is painted gold and black just like his outfit. The car does not look overly weaponized, but is pretty heavily armored. It doesn't look like it go that fast.
I am keeping track of what your car looks like as we go in the map slides as well.

Overload Engines-his modification allows you to press their engine during the race and double their speed for one round, but there is a 50% chance the engine could have an internal malfunction on the next round that permanently reduces the vehicle’s base speed by half.

Navasi I will let you redo your round since you already got the benefit to socializing with Nyizin
Navasi - Iconic Envoy |
I am not sure if Navasi can take an action now in this round 2. If she can then see below - if not she does that round 3:
computers, adding EAC: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (9) + 6 = 15
sense motive, Orsis: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (5) + 4 = 9
LoreMaster GM |
What you just did was your second round action. You will still be able to act in round 3. Unfortunately you failed to upgrade the car by 1.
Ceolor Xusha |
"Ah, your friend was a bonded Dragonkin? You have my deepest condolences! I hear those bonds can run deeper than those of family." With a somber look, Ceolor thanks Nyizin for her assistance. Before heading back.
Ceolor glances at the car that everyone is working on and shudders as he recalls late night memories of computers crashing/and sometimes even exploding on him with half an unsaved novel, and decides to not potentially make things worse. Instead he decides to wander over to Lemgem's stall and talk to the heavily augmented gnome.
"Mornin', great weather for a race isn't it?" Smiling broadly he takes in the blue haired creature. "Oh, is that a tattoo of a Shobhad? You ever been to Akiton..."
After chatting with Lemgem for a bit, Ceolor finds a good spot in the conversation to change the topic. "You seem like the kind that might help a fella in need. I'm here helping a racer who pissed off Ratrod, and we could use some friends on the race track, especially someone with a souped up ride such as yours!"
He pauses for breath before continuing "It'll only ever be this one race and personally it'd be great to see Ratrod taken down a peg. He's so film of himself. So what do ya say?"

She smiles, That punk deserves to be knocked down a peg! Let's do this! Ohh, and a word of advice, don't use an energy weapon on Ratrod! his vehicle has a weird piece to the armor and it absorbs the energy, turning it into power for his car! It is his secret weapon! She willing to take second place to you as long as you do not shoot her. She will also not shoot at you.
Round 3 begins now. Second of last round.

Lemgem-Alliance, random speed (SM=yes engineering=no)
Nyizin-Death wish driver. (SM=yes engineering=no)
Orsis-Heavy armored car, not particularly offensive or fast (SM=no Engineering=yes)
Ratrod- Fast, good armor, can absorb energy attacks to boost his car. (SM=no Egineering=yes)
Velocity-? (SM=no Engineering=no)
If you think I missed something, let me know. I decided this would probably be helpful for you guys. I should of been doing it from the start.

Friye sends Kitty off to spy on Lemgen while she tries to upgrade the steering system.
Engineering Lemgen: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (4) + 8 = 12
Kitty is slightly less distracted this time.
Engineering Piloting: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (19) + 8 = 27
Piloting improvement
Alzandre Dufau |
Sorry, I'm a little confused. The way you had posted at the start, it looked like Ratrod and Velocity were a team.
Alzandre is going to see if he can modify the first energy weapon into an electro-magnetic railgun (solid projectiles).
engineering: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (17) + 8 = 25
He will also try to see what he can find out about Velocity's car.
engineering: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (7) + 8 = 15
To Oiris's telepathic scan: "That car looks tough, better make sure we don't bump into it during the race."
