Mandower throws his chakram at the lone goblin on the north tower but the chakram hits the tower's wall and then the goblin with it's flat side. Orophin watches the goblins carefully. None of the seven small creatures dares to move away.
Two of the goblins on the south tower shoot their shortbows at the closest opponents.

Gustav Aleister Blackwood |
"Quickly, now! We mustn't waste time!" Gustav encourages as he hastens to the south tower door, kukri gleaming with the reflected sun and snow.
Minion... |
Rattle, rattle.
Gustav's animated skeleton moves to the door and attempts to burst through.
break door: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (5) + 2 = 7
Simple doors (break DC 15) are not meant to keep out motivated attackers. Good doors (break DC 18), while sturdy and long-lasting, are still not meant to take much punishment. Strong doors (break DC 25)
Usawoti |
Usawoti almost drops his taiaha when he sees the skeleton run past him and bash the door. He quickly looks over his shoulder at Gustav who is headed toward them with his kukri. Usawoti steels himself and battering rams the door of the south tower with his taiaha.
Taiaha two handed attack break door: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (6) + 5 = 11 for damage: 1d10 + 6 ⇒ (9) + 6 = 15 not sure I did that right :)
Gustav Aleister Blackwood |
Usawoti, it all depends on what you are actually trying to do. For doors, you can try to just "break" them, which is just a STR check at the DCs listed in Minion's post. If you want to destroy the door, you roll to-hit (AC 3 if the door is medium [probably], AC 5 if large, etc.), If you hit, you do damage, adjust for hardness, and whatever is left over applies to the item. At half hit points, the item gains the broken condition. At or below zero, the item is destroyed.
Usawoti |

GM Baerlie |
the towers are 50 ft tall, the doors are goblin crafted (hardness 3, hp 10, Break DC 12)
Ludwick drinks his mutagen. You can see a slight change in his shape. Tenerek studies the remaining goblin on the north tower carefully before shooting an arrow, but the arrow does not get through the goblin's armor. Gustav gets closer to the tower while the skeleton tries to break it down. The door crackles but it does not break.
The green goblin shoots at the closest opponent.

I will be in and out tomorrow, if it advances to me, and I do not post within an hour, please feel free to NPC me if you are next, or GMNPC me if you need to advance.
GM Baerlie |
Orophin protects the goblins and sings for his companions. "Nice song." one of the goblins says. "But please give us alchemist's fires, we also want to help."
Two of the goblins on the south tower continue shooting their crossbows at 1 Gustav, 2 Skeleton, 3 Usawoti: 1d3 ⇒ 2 1 Gustav, 2 Skeleton, 3 Usawoti: 1d3 ⇒ 3 but both arrows hit snow piles.
Pink vs. Skeleton: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (3) + 4 = 7
Red vs. Usawoti: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (8) + 4 = 12

To Hit: 1d20 + 6 - 4 ⇒ (6) + 6 - 4 = 8 I am not sure how the height works? I am guessing that vaguely Pythagorean it is about 60'? Looks like I hit at 60' or less, and miss at 60+
Miss: 1d8 ⇒ 6
Splash Damage=5, targeting intersection of all three on the south tower.
Minion... |
Once the door is no longer an obstacle, Gustav instructs the skeleton to rush in and kill all goblins inside. Mindlessly loyal, the bony servant rushes into the tower, drops its weapon, and climbs to the top of the ladder.
Rattle, rattle.
accelerated climb: 1d20 + 2 - 5 ⇒ (11) + 2 - 5 = 8
accelerated climb: 1d20 + 2 - 5 ⇒ (5) + 2 - 5 = 2
Even the 2 should succeed for a ladder (a knotted rope is 0), so- if I'm right about that- Minion climbs to the top with two move actions.
Gustav Aleister Blackwood |
Happy to leave all of the risk to his borrowed "man" power, Gustav whispers the ancient words and touches Usawoti.
When the spell is complete, the occultist moves to the ladder and ends his turn.
If the ladder is only a 5' step away, he readies an action to assist the next Pathfinder up.
assist climb: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (10) + 1 = 11
"To the top! Quickly!"
Usawoti |
Usawoti, warmed by the running and the breaking, nervously follows the skeleton into the tower. Feeling the confidence in Gustav's touch, Usawoti sheaths his Taiaha first move and begins following the skeleton up the ladder as quickly as possible.
accelerated climb: 1d20 - 5 ⇒ (20) - 5 = 15 so ten foot up the ladder, Usawoti will hopefully double move the next two rounds

He then takes aim and pulls the trigger.

"Sorry - orders are no fire for you tonight. But if we all get to our destination safely - I'll ask the alchemist if he can put something together for you all. Deal?" he tells the goblins.
As he notice them spread out he adds
"Hey you lot, come back here now. I don't want to have to hobble you all."
Ludwick |
I move to my current position.
If the door is still intact, I hurl a bomb at it.

Mandower throws his last chakram at the goblin on top, but misses. Orophin shoots his bolt at the goblin on the North tower. You see the goblin fall down and not getting up any more.
Two of the goblins on the south tower see the Skeleton coming up the ladder and get their daggers to stab at it. AoO for the Skeleton, the goblins have to draw their daggers

With the allclear given, Orophin herds the goblins towards the safety and warmth of the two towers, checking them off as he goes to make sure none have taken the chance to slip away.
"Not too much trouble?" he asks, before adding.
"Did anyone get hurt?"
Once the goblins are safe in the tower, he turns his attention to the former occupants. Any alive he will assist as best he can, those beyond his assistance will be taken outside for carrion feeders to live off.
If anyone is injured, Orophin will channel to heal, so save your wands.
Usawoti |
Usawoti finishes climbing the ladder, turning over each goblin with his taiahi making sure they are dead, he also checks each of them for valuables. Yelling down the hatchway

He then looks out off the tower toward the east to see what he can see.

Eponine Lokrien Savet |
"I doubt they made that fire just to keep warm. Our goblins don't need fire. Maybe we should put it out? Could be a signal."
Unless there is objection, Eponine will use the snow on the towers to put out the fire. Survival to put out fire: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (18) + 4 = 22
Hearing the Oracle's question, "I was injured! Help!" Eponine answers.
Gustav Aleister Blackwood |
Gustav guards the south tower door to keep goblins out while Usawoti invesigates the crisp bodies.
"Tell me what you find..." he whispers through the arcane connection.
If our "allied" goblins don't try to come into the tower, Gustav searches the bottom floor.
perception: 20 + 7 = 27
Edit: I just noticed that there is a signal fire atop the tower that I'm in.
"Salt, the fire! Put it out! I think the feathered one lit it to warn somebody...or something."
Orophin Telemnarn |
After ensuring the goblins are all secure in the tower, Orophin gathers the injured (human and goblin alike, in case any of our charges are hurt) and sits down.
Slowly Orophin reaches out with his senses, feeling the budding life beneath the snow in seeds; the snow-eagle flying high above; the small rodents warm in their cosy burrows. From each he draws strength, pulling the smallest shade of their life essence into himself. Then, feeling as if he was about to burst Orophin releases it out to all those around him.

"I don't see anything," Eponine sorrowfully announces as she trips over several bladed discs.
GM Baerlie |
You loot the goblins and the towers and you find the following stuff: a potion, three vials, a dagger, a light crossbow with 10 bolts, a wooden holy symbol of Zarongel, four small leather armors, four light wooden shields, four short swords, and four short bows with 20 arrows each.
The goblins have amassed a small cache of spoils from recent ambushes of travelers along this path, which they now heap in a pile on the ground floor of the southern tower. Among the worthless junk collected here you find some items of value: a potion and two tanglefoot bags.
After extinguishing the signal fire Usawoti looks what lies ahead. A check in the south direction from the roof of one of the towers does not reveal anything else but ice, snow and rocks.
Orophin does not find anything magical in the towers which was not already revealed.
Gustav Aleister Blackwood |
"I suppose it is a good thing we brought two Pathfinders along who are versed in these sorts of things," says the mustachioed man, gesturing toward the potions and vials. "Could one of you possibly clue us in on the contents?"
Gustav continues to disallow the Frostfur goblins from entering the tower, but considers their safety.
"We should probably distribute the Icetooths' armor and weapons to our charges. Few of us could even use their gear and it may keep them alive."
Tenerek Argentson |
"How about just the armour, I do not fully trust them, but at least the armour will help them stay alive"
He takes enough arrows to restore his amount to 60.
Mandower Steel Strong |
throwing those chakrams to reach out of reach enemies was bad enough and he says this as he wants to borrow the light crossbow with the 10 bolts for the scenario if noone else wants to.
Usawoti |
Usawoti stays on the top of the tower, stomping his feat as he tries to stay warm; watching out into the distance for anything approaching.
he continues to take 20 on perception until they leave
When the team tells him its time to go he will hurry down the ladder and catch up.
