I have a commitment to run season 4 with another group, other than that, I am running a season 4 scenario with that group in the Game Day. I am not sure if that precludes me from running anything else. I've been told I need to level PFS characters, also, I've been told to quit killing them. I've only killed one. Feral is bossy. I think Peperic gets to level to 2. Should I update what I do with him in the discussion thread?

That's up to you. PFS is the honor system, so I never level my characters in public <<...>> :)

I was under the impression you leveled your character and then the GM at the table looked over the sheet. If it was valid, great. But I've got a GM who wants for us to maintain a changelog of sorts. Its the same GM that's running us through all of season 4. ..Anyway. If I can be in two game day things, I'll join, I just don't know all the rules yet.

Oh, you can definitely be in two games. You can run up to three games for the Gameday, and play in as many as you want.

Before the Dawn

As far as the presence of a GM, I don't think there is specifically anything in the Guide that says you have to level up in front of one, nor is a GM required to sign off on your leveling. GMs do have the right to "audit" you character sheet and chronicles, though I have never done it, nor had it done to me. (Obviously, in PbP, you sheet is there to be looked at and I have looked at people's sheets to see how they were getting modifiers, languages known, ect...)

In reality, most FtF Gamedays, there is not enough time after a game to wait for someone to level up and have it checked over, as the store may closing, or people need to go.

Technically, there is an Inventory Tracking Sheet that is supposed to be signed off on by GMs, but that is to track expenditures, not check whether you leveled your PC correctly. In reality, I have never seen one used, or been asked to sign off on one.

Looking at your campaigns, I see it is GM Harker running your season 4 stuff. I've never had him run a game for me, but he's been in a couple of mine. (Lives in Indiana, I believe.). That's just his preference to how he runs things, not the "rule".

Yeah, it's Harker and you are right, it's not the leveling, it's the inventory thing. Which is odd for me, since I do everything in Hero Lab. So I have to remember to put in what I changed. It's not a huge deal, rules is rules, I'll play by the GM rules. I was really trying to figure out what I needed to do between games. My other major character is saving for Mithral. Not sure what I want to buy for Peperic, probably cold iron longsword.

Yeah, the inventory thing is in the Guide. Being a HeroLab user myself (from the start), I can commiserate. My paper trail is a mess! I rely heavily on my session records and Hero Lab, so character sheets and ITS are woefully bad.
