Seventeen looks askance at that suggestion and replies, "It would be logical to try one of the curative potions we found earlier. If we hold his nose shut and pour the liquid down his throat, he should swallow it."
Seventeen does exactly that unless someone objects.

Shaking my head to clear the cobwebs and coughing lightly at the recently administered first aid, "Thank you, but what is going on and where is Tusk'r?" I feel like I've been fun over by a manure cart....and don't recognize anyone around.

Strapping his bow back on his back, Guaire relaxes his arms again.
"You're in a cavern, but you already know such. After the last search party which i assume you were part of, went missing, the town council assembled another party, being us. You were on your way to potentially becoming slime chow."

Nodding at Guaire's comments, you notice that a multitude of emotions are passing unspoken across my face.
"Yes, we were approached in the tavern by one of the guard. They were looking for someone to search for Councillor Baine once he was determined to have gone missing. There were five of us when we left the town, myself, Mona Three Knives, Louie de Tusk'r, and Barson a cleric of Zuphus. Parda Gunn decided at the last minute she was going to come as well.
At this point you can see a mask of cold anger settle on my features.
"Have any of you seen a half-orc by the name of Louie around here? He and I have a score to settle."

Jarreck follows the other to the remains of the victim they found earlier at the blindhiem.
"Nice to meet you Omo, Guaire, yeah Zyphus, weird huh - Barson told me before he is the god of accidental death. I never debated religion with him; but the few times we worked together; he was a steady hand to have at your side. Louie was an Aurocks of a man, and about as strong as one too. Fancied his self as a ladies man; so took the name Louie de Tusk'r. Unfortunately outside of Mona, most of the ladies didn't give him a second look....." He stumbles a bit coming to a stop at the remains of one of his team members
"Well, I guess all things considered, it's ironic or maybe not, to find Barson here...... Is it considered to be fulfilling your god's desires by getting eaten in a dungeon?" He seems to ask no one in particular.
"This isn't Tusk'r, too small. Have you passed any sign of him or Mona? Mona is his allip of a girlfriend. She's the brains of their little group and took a long walk off the bridge of jealousy a long time ago when it comes to Louie."
Matter of fact the last thing I can remember is arguing with Louie after Mona found new places to sheath her daggers in Parda. Parda had been somewhat sweet on Louie but he's too dim to know it. He thought every lady liked him. Mona on the other hand knew the deal and chose this as the perfect way to get rid of her. I heard the ruckus and when I said something to Louie he got mad and pushed me forward to do 'my job'. I turned saw a flash, heard Louie and Barson yell, then something tripped me and I know nothing else until you revived me."
Begins to check gear for any damage..

Seventeen remained quiet observing until now, but she buts in a slightly too loud way, stating "The patient seems much improved. We must push on if we are to save councillor Baine."
She indicates that the party should move south down the tunnel.

"Yeah we've found Parda at the beginning of the cave. Though now we've heard your story Jarreck, her death and situation of how we found her makes more sense.." Mort says as he blindly stumbles after the others, following their voices.
"I'm Mort by the way, but this blindness is not my own, it will subside eventually."

Shouldering his backpack, Jarreck pulls his bow out and heads towards the indicated cavern. Something about Seven's cadence rings a bell but shaking his head, puts it down to being remnants of his getting knocked out.
Determined not to repeat his entrance into this area.

Turning to Mort before heading out; nods at his mention of Parda although wincing slightly at the mention of blindness

Jarreck moves forward, light from Seven's spell giving him just enough illumination to see.
He comes to a split in the cavern to his right he sees.
A collection of crates, boxes, rubble, and scavenged metal lies
heaped in the northwest section of this damp cave. Several strange
chalk drawings of twisted, spiny plants, a strange three-legged
creature, and emaciated four-armed humanoids mark the walls.
1d20 + 16 ⇒ (18) + 16 = 34
1d20 + 5 ⇒ (7) + 5 = 12
You can go Southwest or Southeast

The party continues southwest, The temperature drops noticeably in this passageway, and a rime of white frost lines the walls and floor leading into the cavern beyond. What seems to be a light layer of brown dust carpets the cave floor beyond-a body of some sort sits slumped
against the eastern wall.

"Temperature's suddenly dropping over here. Lemme have a look at that brown stuff."
Guaire comes to realize what the substance is and he turns his head at the others.
"Careful, this is brown mold. It sucks warmth from any source, so anything fire will double it's size, yet cold damage will destroy it.
Unless we want to get hurt, stay away at least 10ft from it."

'Even if we go without fire, it doesn't seem wise to venture that way. Maybe we should check the other direction? Some of the drawings in here are intriguing they seem to be related to the tripodal mechanoid that went crazy and nearly demolished the Foundy earlier."

"Yes, it seemed intent on demolishing the Foundry Tavern and had Val targeted, we where able to disable it. Some unknown factor caused it to activate." mentions Seventeen as if she was discussing the color of a flower or some other trifle.

"Necessity sometimes makes for strange bedfellows; they had need of my 'skills' from my previous life in Riddleport. These days I just try to roam around these ruins and chase down the mysteries of a long time ago."
After Seventeens suggestion of going back the other way. Jarreck turns to follow the others back up to the intersection and heads down the southeast fork with bow in hand.

Mort turns up his head and listens as the others bicker about not being able to use cold and pipes up.
"When we come upon a single patch of that mold, tell me and help me near it. I think I'm able to get rid of a small part of it."
Mort says as he follows along with the others through to the other direction.

The ceiling of this vast chamber rises nearly thirty feet overhead.A five-foot-wide ledge runs along the western wall, sloping
down to the cave floor ten feet below. Four ramshackle huts
made of what appear to be strips of metal, hides, and some sort
of fibrous plant matter sit in the cave, while to the south yawns
a dark pit.
As the party approaches the cavern with Seven's light they see the huts and four humanoid creatures wielding daggers and crossbows appear. They do not attack even though they appear almost supernaturally out of thin air. One of them speaks
