@GM Deekan, would you be open to allowing me to have completed the earth saturation? here are the rules-

Earth saturations are most common in the deep, dark places of the world, especially in subterranean geode caverns. Such caves are full of crystals infused with the energy of the Elemental Planes of Earth. A geokineticist must spend 9 days in quiet contemplation in a fetal position amid these crystals, succeeding at a DC 20 Knowledge (dungeoneering) check each day. Crystals gradually grow on her until she is completely covered. If she fails a check, she must start over, and after each failure she must succeed at a DC 20 Fortitude save or develop a deformity from the mutant template. At the end of the ninth day, she emerges reborn, with the earth child wild talent in place of one of her 3rd-level or lower utility talents. A geokineticist can halt this attunement at any point without incurring negative effects.

lending your form with crystal, you have transmuted yourself into something akin to an oread. You keep your original racial abilities (including your ability score adjustments, but not your movement speed) and also gain all oread racial abilities (including an oread’s movement speed and the outsider [native] type) except for ability score adjustments.

You have the crystalline form alternate racial trait instead of earth affinity, but cannot otherwise choose alternate racial traits.

Of course, I'd have it so I could make the checks via taking 10

So, its not fully completed yet, but I think it gets across what he will do for the most part. I've never made an earth kinectist, so I'm still hashing out the finer things, but, would you prefer a more ranged combatant, or a more melee combatant?

@rorek-I’m fine whichever way you go. As long as you can make it fit in then I want you to have a character you want to play with.

I find it interesting that rorek55 posts a new thread for a GM and 1 possible player for the same campaign. This is all too sketchy with 0 information passed on. I'm going to withdraw my submission.

We lost our GM about 2 weeks ago, it wasnt really until today we decided we wanted to truly try and ask around for a GM for it.

Not sure what else to say about it or why it is sketchy. I was simply picked to post the thread.

Is GM Deekan not the GM? Since everything is pointing to that? Then you put up a 2nd post identical to the other post you put up seeking GM that Deekan said he would take. So I am very confused on who is who and so on apparently

apologies, that is for a different group that is just reaching the plague house. I mostly applied for this one as I had assumed the game would die completely. Just happened that one of the players opted out, and the others wanted to look around for a GM. I suppose it could be a little weird, but if you look into the games they are completely different, both party wise and level wise.

I am the GM. I have volunteered to pick up the GM duties for this campaign and that’s what I will do. I meant to have picks up yesterday, but this week was just a little busier then usual. I will have my picks up this weekend and we will start this sometime next week.

So GM Deekan is only running one group.

Rorek55 is a person who was applying for this campaign.

Rorek55 also is in a different Giantslayer campaign, and recently posted to try and find a GM. To my knowledge GM Deekan has not picked up his campaign as well.

That campaign is completely different than this one and has it's own recruitment.

Ok. Let me try to re explain.

I used to be part of a giantslayer that had been running for a little bit, however, about 3 weeks ago our GM disappeared (likely due to sickness and other things, I hope he is ok) so, we were waiting around to see if he would be back, but hasn't yet posted on any alias. So, there was a quick discussion a day ago about trying to find a new GM for it. One of the players just opted out, as he said finding a GM would be unlikely(sadly, I somewhat agreed) but the majority wanted to at least try and so I made the post about it. My Hope's aren't high, but I wanted to try. The groups are completely different. Ours wasnt even that far into book 1.
