New job has cut into my pbp time. Life is good here.
Enjoying the Ohio State Buckeyes making every game a thriller drinking this Grapefruit Shandy Leinenkugel has out. That and the Not Your Fathers Rootbeer are my new beer discoveries.
At work, we won our Air Force support contract for the next three years, so I will be working at least till then as a government contractor. Heading to Biloxi next weekend to see Styx. Saw Yes, Toto, Ambrosia, and Little River Band there over the last two months.
In PbPs I ran the entire first chapter of the Giantslayer saga. I had some fairly antagonistic players in the original 8, cut to 4. Tried to leave them a diplomatic out against the very tough boss fight. They decided to fight with one of their member hurt and died. They decided to not continue with new characters.
Let me know if you ever want to continue GM Blood. I consider this the best game I have been in.
I don't consider this game dead, just on life support. I'm hoping once a bunch of stuff slows down a little I can devote the time needed to get this going again.
Yeh, this is definitely one of my favorites. I still think about trying to restart the Temple of Elemental Evil, but just have not had the energy. With the new job, that is also on long term hold.

Heya all. Apologies for not checking back in the last while. I am still about, but I have not been checking things on Piazo much of late with several of my other games losing GMs. If we are going to continue, I am all for it.
As for life, I have been promoted at work and have been at that for a month+ now. Enjoying the new position, much more challenging and there is always something to do. So none of the being bored by sitting around with little to do. The increase in pay is nice as well and after 3 months I was told I would go on salary. Hours are different of course. Tues-Fri I work 10-6 and Sat 7:30-6.
I hope everyone else is doing well. :)

We have a cleric that can 7d6 channel, dimension hop and teleport. Our bard can buff and fight. Our witch is devastating with spells and hexes. And Kilthan and I have mount and companion and kick major butt in combat. We were awesome!!

I am sure he is miserable as the state to the south is happy because their baseball team managed to win a playoff series -- for the first time in 107 years.

Wednesday wasn't a good day for the state of Texas and baseball.
Ohio State lost to a backup QB, but then they beat others with backup QBs, so it is ironic- it was inevitable how they were playing.
Bears beat Packers in Lambeau--quite surprising. Great secondary play by Bears today. It was nice to see Favre get some kudos.

This is where some of us have differences in opinions. Ohio State has lucked out on a number of close teams playing mid-level teams and the Bears have gotten the short end of the stick in about 4 games this year (all losses by 3 or fewer points), it was nice to see things average out although I doubt the Bears with all their injuries will be able to get a winning record. Letting Brandon Marshall go this year was beyond foolish, now Jefferys is injured and their receiving core looks like a who's who of people who were working in retail last year.
I did notice Favre forgot to thank the lady he shared pictures with.
Ohio State's woes have been coaching related. For whatever reason Urban Meyer has been trying for tricky stuff on offense when he has the horses to jam it down people's throats. If Elliott had 20 rushes, they would have beaten Michigan State and raw talent-wise they are as good, if not better, than anyone.
Meyer is often too smart for his own good.

David, a friend of mine gave me Savage Tide. I decided to give it a whirl as DM. I still hold out hope we can get our Savage Tide going again. Anyway, the start had me excited--hope it works out. Still consider this game The Best Game Ever.
And Snowdrift Vanilla Porter Leineys are in our Walmarts in Florida. Quite good!!! And Tirion, all our top grade syrup is from Canada, thought you should know.
The best syrup is from New Hampshire or Vermont. Clearly the Canadians are pulling a quick marketing ploy on you.
Remember, the Bears and "stupid management decisions" are usually synonymous with one another.
I hold out hope we can start that game again. That being said I need to start this one up again before that.
And thanks for thinking so highly of this game. Hopefully soon I can sort out things and get it cranking again.

OK, then let me make a pledge I vow to keep. After my vacation ends (Dec 18th through Jan 5th), this game will start up again. With at least 4 out 5 people posting after months of no movement, I am inspired to get it moving again. Now if Rohara has stuck around just in case we'll be good!

It also turns out we have Maple Groves syrup from Vermont at Walmart now instead of Canadian syrup. I guess I better say it is better than the Canadian syrup we had before.
