Obviously sexy is in the eye of the beholder...

I thought about the Qlippoth as the stats would not have changed my character any. But decided that Alter-Self was more interesting for my background and the Water Yai was much easier to fit in with my aquatic druid.

Surprised nobody submitted a Div-Sorcerer. Would seem well suited, perhaps the Rakshasa skills are a little better, but both work well.

Demodand is tough with the +2 to Con, useful, but not primary for anyone, really only good if you are a spell focused druid or cleric in my view, and both the spawn spell and one of the skills duplicate stuff clerics get anyway.

What's not sexy about having skin comprised of screaming pustular lamprey mouths?

I know right?

We've all had that 'last girl in the bar' moment and ended up with something similar, but you didn't show your mates afterwards yeah?

'Available=Attractive if After 2am but before 6am'.

Macharius - it is an even distribution of class, but there is much love for the Demon and Daemon spawn - and none for the Asura / Demodand / Div / Qlippoth-spawns

Speaking purely for myself, the -2 Int that all four of those heritages would've meant taking put them right out... I love me some skill points! That said, if I'd chosen to go with a Barbarian for my class I could definitely see myself going Demodand.

Why hide it from your mates? Share the joy with the world.

Yeah that -2 Int really hurt I have to say.

I would have liked a more cerebral bloodline, +int wis cha (pick two) and a negative physical stat. as it is they seem to be geared around being very physical.

That is exactly the same reason I didn't select them. The adventure seems more demanding on skills due to the need for auxiliary skills to operate the ship. That and I just have a love of skill points!

Lamprey mouths means enough holes for everybody!

Daemon was the outsider type that I could think of with aquatic types, and I really like the idea of a sea witch, and having a Int penalty would just be brutal.

I think the Qlippoth ship would strongly resemble the Flying Dutchman from Pirates of the Caribbean - not the prettiest crew around.

There aren't that many aquatic outsiders in the tiefzone for Pathfinder so hydrodaemon it was.

I wonder why there is such an tiefling hate on Int. Fully have of the types have that as their penalty.

*Edit Curse you Evilguy! As two individuals from the same heritage, we must clearly fight to the death! Or ally.

I actually chose it because he originally had squicky eyes and teeth in his pitspawn form and... hydrodaemons have squicky eyes and teeth. It fit!

Well, that and in 3.5 cultists of Dagon got it on with boggards and hydrodaemons are described kind of like scarier boggards.

I was surprised that Devil-spawn didn't have +Int. Maybe my conception of Devils in D&D/PF is off, but I would've thought that a much more intuitive choice more than +Wis.

There is also a funky looking aquatic div that makes a hydrodaemon look dignified. I think it was called a ghawwas. Does anyone else think the ghawwas' horns look kind of like pickles?

That's very nice! Love it!

Only reason I went Demon-spawn was for the Str/Cha.. Thats a hard combo to find (except Nagaji!) And Dragon (or demon) disciples are pretty MAD as is.. Then I remembered the Demon lords and it sorta just took off from there. Not many aquatic tiefling types, which it seems most of us tried to re-create.

There were a number of outsiders with definite water ties:
Piscodaemon, Water Yai Oni, Hydrodaemon, Slimy Demodand(sort of), Demon (Shrroth, Pengizu, Hezrou, Greruor), and Raktavarna Rakshasa.

And there are a ton which are more serpent types which could easily be worked into a water/aquatic tie in.
