Pelagias |
Wow guys, I'm sorry I must of opened this up and not realized it had updates.
Pelagias moves 20ft forward, just infront of Jerb, and shoots a blast of cold at the NEastern one. using point blank shot
Cold blast: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (20) + 5 = 251d6 + 2 ⇒ (6) + 2 = 8
Crit?: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (14) + 5 = 191d6 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 2 = 6
Jerbrick Fantasticork |
Jerb shrieks when the skeletons rise around him. He reacts by conjuring a grease pit around the nearest skeleton then scurrying behind his comrades.
Casting grease on the red square on the map. DC 16. Then moving back. Jerb' misdirection trick is still active on Shael and he will trigger it if Shael attacks a skeleton.

With a few powerful blows, the first three skeletons go down. The last skeleton falls and shatters into a pile of bones.
Way weaker than i thought lol
The deceased dhampir was a necromancer who used this cave as a secluded place to practice his craft, but following a mistake while animating a dead gillman, his creations turned on him. These mindless undead creatures attack living creatures on sight.

Sorry about out the delays. I don't know how many posts Paizo ate this week, where I typed up posts and Paizo was back down when I submitted. It was frustrating, but I hope that things get smoother, and the game can pick back up better. BTW Passing on the perception, since I have a -1 maxing me out at 19.
Pelagias |
As the last skeleton falls, Pelagias will scan the area making sure no more are around."Ooh!? What's this? Perception: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (16) + 7 = 23 Everyone come quickly, I've found a secret passage this way come on! Pelagias will not wait for rebuttal, and excitedly makes his way down the passage.

The route to the surface leads through a maze of tight passages that include steep ascents and short climbs as they wind from west to east. As the you travel, you can hear the sounds of a distant battle echoing through the caves, intermixed with inspirational tales of famous Pathfinders and the heroic deeds—the raging fight between Janira and the minotaur. As you get further down the cave, Janira’s words are sufficiently. The tight tunnels here range from 2 to 5 feet in width and average about 9 feet in height.

As you are walking through this area, you manage to spot 2 creatures.

Sorry I thought I posted here but it must have gotten swallowed up.
Jerb sizes up the nearer creature with a fierce stare. Then he creates a puff of fire just in front of it, trying to distract it.
Using hypnotic stare on the nearer one as a swift action. The first attack which hits against it will get +1 damage. It also gets -2 will saves if that matters. Then casting flare on the same one. DC 15 Fort save or be dazzled for 1 minute.
Pelagias |
I hear janira! She's alive! Let's hurry!!! Pelagias conjures a ball of glowing blue air and sends it flying at the closest enemy.
Cold blast vs Touch: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (4) + 5 = 91d6 + 2 ⇒ (6) + 2 = 8 if it hits, I get another plus 1 from Jerb.

Benedikt Karsten |
Benedikt attempts to see if cold will harm the creature, casting a ray of frost.

The enemys were giant amoebas. low ac low hp, both dead
With all the party working together, both of the amoebas are taken down.
The light of the surface world above provides a welcome reprieve from the blue and green fungus of the caverns below, and light illuminates a stream whose water is hastened by runoff from a recent storm further up the mountains. A ledge to the west rises up to the nearby forest canopy.
You emerge from the caverns into a 40-foot clearing at the base of the Kortos Mounts. The full moon above casts provides dim light over the entire area, bright enough to illuminate even the shaded leaf litter beneath the trees. A 3-foot-diameter tree truck spans the
width of the river, creating an impromptu bridge. Janira Gavix is locked in combat with her relentless minotaur foe in a clearing on the southern bank of the stream.
“You vile beast! I know not what drives your black heart, but I shall not fail in my duty. I shall see you driven from this forest, back to the hills from whence you came!”

Sorry for long delay. been busy getting ready for deployment. i will be traveling next day or 2 and if i get to post it will be from my Daveak alias as this one doesnt show up on the app for what ever reason.
Jerbrick Fantasticork |
Jerb scurries towards the bridge to try to help Janira.
Double move. I put myself on the minotaur map and moved from the cave entrance.
Baselton Keswick |
"Oh that dosn't look good."
Baselton moves forward as well, I put my token on what I am guessing is the right map but the spot is kind of random/
Pelagias |
Pelagias will move 40ft. I will try to put token on map when I get home.
I knew we hadn't seen the last of this foul creature!
Marius Reinhart II |
"The one to strike the final blow gets to mount the beast above their mantle, deal?" Marius retorts as he rushes out of the cave with his blade drawn, following Shael across the the tall grass towards their stricken ally.
"Curze! Kill!" he orders, pointing at the Minotaur.
Shael, Earth's Fury |
Now is the time to make our names known.
Without a moment's hesitation, Shael makes her way towards the fight, hoping to get her first deed as a pathfinder recorded by the famous Janira.
Double move
Curze |
Hearing the command, Curze growls softly before charging across the shrubs, the poorly grown grass parting asily beneath the power of the focused Tiger. With ease, Curze leaps the stream and makes it to the other bank, eyeing the Minotaur with obvious hate.
DM Snider |
As the party moves in toward the minotaur, It tries to drop the little halfing.

"Leave the little folks alone please."

Damage: 1d3 ⇒ 3
Jerbrick Fantasticork |
Jerb moves up to the creek's edge, staring at the minotaur then shooting it with his crossbow.
Using hypnotic stare as swift action. Minotaur gets -2 on Will saves. Also +1 damage on the next attack against, 1d6 if it's me.
attack + inspire courage: 1d20 + 3 + 1 ⇒ (11) + 3 + 1 = 15

If that hits:
painful stare: 1d6 ⇒ 4
Shael, Earth's Fury |
I can't see them either. Wherever the Minotaur is, Shael moves up to it, rages, and hammers it.

DM Snider |
Well thats one way to end the boss fight quick lol
As the party moves up, Baselton throws a pebble with his sling but misses his target. Jerbrick manages to base the target and hit him but does little damage. Once Shael bases the minotaur, she is taken with rage as her allies have been injured and cuts the minotaur in half.
Once you have finished your exploration of the cave, Janira leads the expedition back to Absalom without further incident. Once safely back in the Grand Lodge, Master of Scrolls Kreighton Shaine inquires excitedly about what you found and asks to see their notes. He compliments those who recorded notes for being certain to write down ideas and observations while the thoughts are fresh, observing that it’s difficult enough to remember what one had for breakfast the day
before as it is to recall exactly what one was thinking while studying an inscription. As you are now the foremost authorities on that cave and what it contains, Shaine also invites you to come up with its name.
Three days later, the Master who best represents each your own individual interests confirms that you are a full Pathfinder field
agent. As part of the ceremony, that mentor also gifts a personalized wayfinder to you, reminding him or her that this is not only the symbol of the Pathfinder’s trade but also a reminder of the three principle duties: explore, report, and cooperate.
Good job.Sorry for the delays i am glad everyone was able to stick it out. I will make the chronicles tomorrow.
Baselton Keswick |
Holy heck Shael. You don't often see a minotaur get flattened like Wile E Coyote!
