The hyakume and the human petitioner, were rather well equipped. Between them, and the two deathknights, they had:

Mantle of Immortality
Periapt of proof against poison
Staff of Stealth (5 charges)
Chain shirt, +3 warding
Harpoon, +3 returning
Lesser belt of mighty hurling
Cloak of resistance +4
Ring of protection +3
Adamantine Short Sword +1

"Pvarish-19?" Elen approaches the Inevitable. "Well done! Do you need any healing?" she asks, offering her wand before she moves on with the others.

Kort is thankful that Elen is tending to Pvarish-19, giving him time to sort and inspect the magics. He will happily pass them out to others, and will hold the staff of stealth in his haversack

When others are ready, he is ready to move forward. He again tries to orient himself around the idea of why they are in this demiplane of misery and hopes the efforts will be supportive of the princess when the time comes, but he feels so far off base that it’s difficult to remember sometimes.

Female Half-Elf aka Katherine Weaver

Kamari eyes the periapt of proof against poison as she shudders with the memories of her body shaking from various poisons. Ultimately though, she sees it more as situation specific and keeps her amulet of natural armor around her neck.

She's impressed that the elder adventurer resists immediately donning the mantle of immortality and regaining his youth.

Rapier Koriana:

"Shield, woman!

Prior to continuing their exploration, Kamari nonchalantly pulls out her wand and shields herself.

Roll20 Map - Tracking Sheet

Pvarish-19 is a little weaker, but not by a lot all things considered, "Thank you once again my friends for your aid. No, I do not need anything. My time here is short, and I shall be gone before that damnable shadow can do any more to me."

He spits at the floor where the shade descended. Before long, while you are sorting through the magics, he himself begins to fade - and he quickly winks out of existence here. He's gone back home.

There were barred walls, like a prison, in the chamber you found the harpoon wielding petitioner where Major Kort is looting. Or you can open the door Kamari is near - an as yet unexplored area.

What is your move?

Muri watches the shadow slip away again, nodding to himself as the challenging aggression fades away, like the shadow. The Lost Silhouette is this thing's home. Best find Taldaris, and depart. The halfling can still feel Chaldira's gaze filtered through his own eyes, watching the walls again.

Muri produces his Martyr's Tear, and heals somewhat, before asking for assistance from the others. Hoping to mooch 16 or 17 charges of a CLW wand or two

Healing the Halfling:

He remains at the ready, catching up to watch the elder man wait at the next door. "Did you check for traps? Is it locked?"

The door is open to the cells…

The Norgorberites frequently capture prisoners for interrogation or detainment, each of which they store in these cells. Each cell maintains a muffling effect that reduces most sensory input from outside the cell to a muted whisper or a vague visual outline. The walls here also bear thousands of dissonant mathematical inequalities that suppress spellcasting as well as axiomites’ ability to assume an incorporeal form.

There are three captives here, their forms blurry and muted. However, the one to the south is clear enough - for it can be none other than Taldaris! The cell doors are locked, but you found a ring of keys on the harpoon wielding petitioner which fit the locks well enough.

The prisoners look up when the outer doors are opened, but cannot perceive who it is from that distance, so they remain silent.

If it looks clear, he will cast Detect Magic and concentrate carefully in the prison area. He does not trust the area, and considers casting more spells….and then does cast True Seeing and uses that to ensure everything is as it seems. He definitely examines each prisoner in turn.

Major Kort the untrusting, does a sweep of the chamber. His spells fail at the entry so he cannot see truly or magically. It's like an anti-magic shell, so his spells will function again when he departs the room.

His perception however works, more or less, in the dim chamber. He discerns nothing amiss.

Well, will save the True Seeing casting then, as he wouldn’t have cast it if Detect Magic didn’t work. Wow. I guess it makes sense tho.

Kort grunts and tries to determine if there is a focus for the anti magic effect. Is there an item in the room causing the effect or does it seem to be permanently ensorcelled into the area?

Roll20 Map - Tracking Sheet

No item in the room. It's the ensorcelled bits on the walls themselves. You'd have to take the chamber apart brick-by-brick to remove the suppression. They take their prison very seriously.

Male Halfling Herder/17

Muri thanks Elen for the healing, making a mental note to return the favor, once they return to Taldor. "I'll keep guard. We got slammed from two different directions just now. Let's hope this is it! Get Taldaris out, and let's get going!"

"Shouldn't we free them all?" Elen asks.

She approaches Taldaris' cell with the key and opens the lock carefully.

Taldaris looks up at the Jininese Elf and is, for a moment, a little confused. "Another agent of the Shade perhaps?" He glances at her again, "But worshippers of Shelyn don't generally work for Norgorber."

He waits for you to properly introduce yourself. Something seems to tug at him, and he's thinking hard.

She introduces everyone.

Hoping to learn something, Kamari pays close attention to Kort's attempts to discern the magics in the room.

Seeing Taldaris seems unreal. A mixture of relief, hope, and bit of disappointment fill her. She tries to keep her focus on their grander purpose of supporting the princess.

"I'm not sure about freeing them all," Kamari responds to Elen's question. "Who knows what clowns these might be."

She nods at Elen's succinct summation of their purpose and waits patiently for the formal introductions before asking the question.

"What is with the chains? Can we assist you out of them?"

"You've been here with these others? Do they deserve to stay? Or shall we free them as well?" The Socratic Major Kort asks the non-shade of Taldaris.

Roll20 Map - Tracking Sheet

"Ahh, yes. From my vision. I have seen you. I protected you when they came for you. Ahh, yes."

”These chains are just a humiliation. Like an elephant. You know elephants? When they are young, they are chained until they realize their binding is too strong. Then, when they are older, they can be bound by a rope. They could break it, but they do not, for they have been trained into submission.” He stands, and bursts his remaining chains.

He steps out of his cage and looks at the other two prisoners, ”No one deserves to be locked up here. Free them.”

”Now. Who have you destroyed? Thousand Names, the Petitioner? Good. Good. Hamal Kai, the Hyakume? Good. Her eyes." he almost shudders at the thought of those flying gristly orbs. Quickly recovering he continues, "The Stabbing Beast? Oh, no, no, no. That will not do. Give me my halberd and we shall finish what you started."

"The Stabbing Beast must be destroyed. I can understand it if the Secret Shade escapes, for after all it is a shadow and difficult to pin down. But the Stabbing Beast cannot walk through walls."

He reaches out to the party for his halberd. "Let us go. I was taken to him when I arrived. If he has not moved, and I doubt he has, he will be downstairs."

The Night Swan is already working on freeing the other prisoners even before Taldaris speaks, using her adamantine wire saw if needed to cut through the shackles.

The idea of fighting with Taldaris is not exactly something she relishes, but she is also practical enough to recognize it is probably the best idea. She muses quietly on the irony that he should use the same weapon as her. ”I do not believe we have your halberd as of yet. Where was it last, that you know of? ”You do not have my weapon. He will have it then, for the Shade cannot carry it readily and it will not be merely propped up in a weapon rack.”

He sighs and waits for some weapon to be offered and eyes Edelmira's halberd. He continues, ”The Beast will be invisible to start. His poison causes blindness and strength damage and he can spit it as well as spike you. He works well with the Shade in that regard. We might face them together, which would be lucky. He can take the form of a normal human, but in his natural form he has a scorpions tail with poison as well obviously.”

”He works well with a team, and might have a pair of kolyaruts with him. Do not be surprised if he turns on them if hard pressed. He is fed by death and suffering - he takes power from it.”

The former emperor of Taldor takes the battle axe, swings it around a bit, and is pleased by the balance. Then he’s offered Elen’s naginata. He swings it about too - ”A fine weapon indeed.” He commends her, ”But only until mine is recovered.” He offers Elen Edelmira’s axe if she wants it, to be polite. As I expect Elen refuses it in favor of her own backups, he returns the axe to Edelmira with his thanks.

He pauses, ”I don’t suppose you have a few bless weapons around do you? Our opponent has some resistances I believe.” (DR 10 good & magic, also SR, and he likes acid all of which Major Kort confirms)

Kort’s mind finally catches up to the information that has been pouring out with the freeing of the prisoner.

”Halberd? You wield a halberd?” Kort asks with incredulity. ”Are you sure about that? Are you certain it’s not a falcata?” Kort asks, trying to keep his mind from racing. But, he was in the military for years. He knows things. He knows.

Combat:The falcata is the traditional weapon of Taldor, and Taldan duelists train in a form of falcata and buckler combat known as rondelero.

”Are you saying that thousands of years of military training in the falcata is…wrong?” he asks, trying to confirm. ”You’re the father of our country and we haven’t even been honoring your weapon? How is that possible? Where did we go wrong? Why didn’t someone say something!?”

Kort sinks to a knee.

”This is going to change everything. Everything we know about the Taldan legions. Everything.”

Kort slowly sinks to his other knee, too much weight up on him. He looks over at Taldaris.

”You slew the grogrisant…with a *halberd*?” he starts.

”Then led the army to Cassomir and then took the city with a *halberd*?”

”And beat back the Iphrian assassins with a *halberd*?” he continues. ”Thus were born the Lion Blades who do not use halberds.”

”This is going to change everything. Everything. History is a lie.”

You descend the spiral stairs, with Taldaris in the lead. I forgot to mention, the other two prisoners, swiftly rush through the northern tunnel into the Duskfathom. Fleeing for their lives, and bowing before you in their scrape to escape.

The basement then. Rounded alcoves line this large room, each niche marked by an ornate archway. A raised oval platform faces an inscribed circle at the center of the room. These are portals to different portions of Duskfathom, as well as to Abandon, the Abyss, and even Hell. From here, the Secret Shade must meet with agents and operatives from all over.

Likely, here is where Taldaris was abducted as well. You also hear faint whispers, as messages from the astral pass through this chamber to be eavesdropped by the Secret Shade.

Several desks, shelves, and clothing racks filled with dark covering garments line the area. There is no one here, though Taldaris bellows a war cry and rushes into the room! (Major Kort is too far back on the staircase to see anything at this time and Elen too far away from the nearest target.)

You also see a truly impressive looking adamantine halberd, in Taldaris’ colors, resting on a simple weapons rack among some other far more mundane items. Unfortunately it’s on the far side of the chamber so Taldaris doesn’t even consider it for the time being.

Roll20 Map - Tracking Sheet

Edelmira moves in and cleaves, hitting both targets. She learns they have their own DR (chaotic) which is hard to pass - but they are easier to hit… Kamari tumbles past the opposition, but is unable to stick one of them. Elen flies over their heads, stabbing pink (DR) and making it flat footed! Major Kort slides up behind the front line and provides protection. Muri delays until after Elen (NPCs always go last) and flies into the room drawing only a single AoO (the stabbing beast suffers from cover, then altitude - no reach). Taldaris moves to battle the stabbing beast thanking Muri for drawing the AoO. He tries to flip one of the shortswords out of the beasts hands. He also begins regenerating his injuries.

AoO Bastard Sword on Muri: 1d20 + 20 ⇒ (9) + 20 = 29 damage: 1d10 + 8 ⇒ (2) + 8 = 10

Muri gets nicked as he goes by I think.

Taldaris Naginata Disarm on SB: 1d20 + 29 ⇒ (18) + 29 = 47 He takes away his off-hand weapon! 1d8 ⇒ 4

Taldaris laughs, and shouts, "My halberd will carve up these twisted Kolyarut like butter!"

The mooks shift. Purple presses Taldaris.
Bastard Sword on Taldaris: 1d20 + 20 ⇒ (12) + 20 = 32 damage: 1d10 + 8 ⇒ (8) + 8 = 16
Bastard Sword on Taldaris: 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (7) + 15 = 22 damage: 1d10 + 8 ⇒ (7) + 8 = 15

Slam on Taldaris: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (18) + 13 = 31 damage: 2d6 + 3 ⇒ (5, 4) + 3 = 12

Two hits, and the stoneskin already starts to work!

Pink steps up and works on Edelmira, though he does punch Major Kort at the end just for form’s sake.
Bastard Sword on Edelmira: 1d20 + 20 ⇒ (7) + 20 = 27 damage: 1d10 + 8 ⇒ (2) + 8 = 10
Bastard Sword on Edelmira: 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (6) + 15 = 21 damage: 1d10 + 8 ⇒ (9) + 8 = 17
Bastard Sword on Edelmira: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (11) + 10 = 21 damage: 1d10 + 8 ⇒ (2) + 8 = 10
Slam on Major Kort: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (5) + 13 = 18 damage: 2d6 + 3 ⇒ (2, 2) + 3 = 7

Frustratingly pink does poorly, and glances in fear at the beast...

The stabbing beast steps up on Taldaris, and attacks with what he’s got left!
Shortsword on Taldaris: 1d20 + 28 ⇒ (3) + 28 = 31 damage: 1d6 + 6 ⇒ (6) + 6 = 12 plus bleed (2d6) at the top of your round
Shortsword on Taldaris: 1d20 + 23 ⇒ (14) + 23 = 37 damage: 1d6 + 6 ⇒ (2) + 6 = 8 plus bleed (2d6) at the top of your round

Shortsword on Taldaris: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (2) + 13 = 15 damage: 1d6 + 6 ⇒ (4) + 6 = 10 plus bleed (2d6) at the top of your round
Stinger on Taldaris: 1d20 + 24 ⇒ (13) + 24 = 37 damage: 1d6 + 6 ⇒ (3) + 6 = 9 plus bleed (2d6) at the top of your round and Fort DC 25 or Str dam: 1d6 ⇒ 2

The stinger fails to get through the stoneskin, so no save necessary!

Elen moves and picks up Taldaris’ Halberd.

The Night Swan sees an opportunity and makes an adjustment to her fighting style to capitalize on it. Move action to use Martial Flexibility to pick up Surprise Follow-Through

She steps forward and swings in another wide arc, but in such an angle that it does not look like she would continue on to strike the Stabbing Beast until the last moment.
Reminder that her first attack doesn’t have to hit for her to continue the cleave b/c of sweeping strike

Attack on Purple with Aymr (heroism, flank, power attack): 1d20 + 23 + 2 + 2 - 4 ⇒ (5) + 23 + 2 + 2 - 4 = 28
Damage (power attack): 1d10 + 10 + 8 ⇒ (2) + 10 + 8 = 20
Cornugon Smash Free Demoralize (heroism): 1d20 + 26 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 26 + 2 = 32

Because of surprise follow-through, the Stabbing Beast is automatically flatfooted versus this
Cleave Attack on Stabbing Beast with Aymr (heroism, flank, power attack): 1d20 + 23 + 2 + 2 - 4 ⇒ (5) + 23 + 2 + 2 - 4 = 28
Cleave Damage (power attack): 1d10 + 10 + 8 ⇒ (2) + 10 + 8 = 20 Damage is good-aligned
Cornugon Smash Free Demoralize (heroism): 1d20 + 26 + 2 ⇒ (11) + 26 + 2 = 39

Periodic reminder that her successful demoralize effects last 1.5 times as long

Roll20 Map - Tracking Sheet

Welcome All!

This is the War for the Crown Adventure Path by Paizo using the Pathfinder rule set (Pathfinder v1). Please download and read the War for the Crown Player’s Guide (link). We will be using Roll20 for mapping and the Paizo message boards for gameplay. There is also a tracking spreadsheet using Google Sheets for Treasure, critical NPCs, and more.

I feel the Game Master sets the pace, and I want a brisk game insomuch as we can with this role play heavy AP. I plan to post a couple times a day, and likely more often as needed. I hope you will all post regularly daily. If you haven’t posted for 24 hours, I will act for you, have you delay, or otherwise fall behind. When I ran Curse of the Crimson Throne on these boards, it took 745 days (two years, 15 days) and I had 2,706 posts (3.6 a day average). Later in Second Darkness it took 758 days (two years, 27 days) and I had 2,025 posts (2.6 a day average). I’ve lengthened the time of my games for more role play and eased up a bit on the time pressure so my Mummy's Mask campaign should run a little over three years (though I’m still around 2.1 posts a day). I expect this campaign to take at least three years, and possibly longer though I hope to increase my posts per day.

Do not worry about what the others are playing, most have not as yet decided, and it doesn’t matter. If we have six halfling bards, we’ll make it work, and will surely have a lot of fun along the way. (Funnily enough, I say this for every AP I run, but it might actually be true for this one!) Build what you want to play, and I’ll worry about game balance. That said this is a role play heavy AP, so plan accordingly so you can engage regularly. Hopefully someone brings a dagger as there will be combat as well of course.

You will start at first level and will gain levels at approximate intervals throughout the AP. Please create your character following the standard Pathfinder point buy system (link) using a 20 point buy. Hit Points shall be determined in Pathfinder Society style - maximum at first level, average +1 for all subsequent levels (so Fighters start with 10, and gain 6 at each level for example). We are using Background Skills (link). You’ll start with 200gp and three traits (link), one of which must be chosen from the campaign list (scroll down to War for the Crown after clicking). Remember, you may only have one trait per category. You may also have a drawback if you wish, but it does not give you an additional trait, so I don’t expect any but the most adventurous to choose one. Finally, we will also use Hero Points (link). You’ll start with one, plus one more if you complete the background outlined below.

We’re not using mythic, variant multi-classing rules, or any third party rules such as gestalt or spheres of power. I do not want to limit your alignment too much, especially as I view them as general guidelines, but no evil folks rattling around please. No gunslingers or other ‘tech’ themes. I like my fantasy fantastic and firearms throw me off a bit. Please no summoners or very unbalanced builds. You should build well, but someone who’s only good at one thing, will spend a lot of time waiting as the others play. Also, please limit your race to the core book.

Please write a description (what do newcomers see?) along with a public background (what would someone with a Knowledge Local DC 15 know about you?). Finally, please also write a detailed background that tells me something about yourself. Speak about your recent past, future goals you may have, one or two people you may know, and a memory of something in your past that is important to you. The detailed background need not be long. 4-5 short paragraphs are sufficient in most cases (1-2 history, goals, people, memory). This is important, please don’t skip it.

You are beginning in Oppara (link) the Gilded City and capital of Taldor (link). It’s a lovely place with a somewhat Mediterranean climate, though generally on the warmer side. You are assumed to be invested in Taldor’s future and so even if you’re not from here, you’d be familiar with Taldor and its history - at least as much as the Wiki articles cover. For even more, check out Pathfinder Campaign Setting: Taldor, the First Empire (link). There is plenty of information in the Players Guide about your possible motivation, and I’m delighted to talk to you further about it individually. It also mentions your benefactor, Marcela Lotheed though you have not yet met her.

For more information please see the Campaign tab. There is a lot of useful stuff in there on what I’m planning in terms of tone, some discussion of die rolling, etiquette, crafting, and more. It might help to answer some questions you may have and is an important read for the campaign.

Finally, out of respect for Paizo, and the mental age of players and possible readers, I keep my campaigns PG 13 for the most part. Please do the same.

Roll20 Map - Tracking Sheet

Feel free to coordinate with the other players, but I prefer you do as much of that in character as you can. There will be opportunities in the Gameplay thread and I won’t expect your final characters until those are played through. I’ll let you know when that occurs so there’s no confusion. Naturally, if you want to have some sort of prior relationship with another character or some other complicated construct you’ll need to have those conversations out of character to save time, but most of you will start the campaign not knowing each other (probably).

Sub-systems
There are two major sub-systems in this AP. The first I have outlined in the tracking sheet (link) in the sixth tab marked ‘Social Rounds’. Please read it, and the ‘Social Combat’ section of the Players Guide, but relax, it’ll be clearer when you actually have some NPCs to try it on. The third tab of the sheet is there to help track it all and to keep the large number of NPCs from becoming overwhelming. This sub-system is in use at various points in the AP, so mastering it will help you but there’s room to fail in the very beginning as you learn.

In Book Two there begins a complex persona system called Agents of Change, which can provide some minor boons with a little luck. It seems to me to be a rather involved system that might really drag down the pace of the game with PbP. I’ve cropped the relevant bits out of the AP and posted it here (link). Please read at your leisure and let the group know what you think. This doesn’t begin for a while, so we have some time to talk about it.

Though it’s used again in Book Six, this sub-system is completely optional (unlike the Social Rounds). For my vote, I’m inclined to not use it as I think it’s a bit too much for PbP, and is also a bit muddled. It’ll also be yet another layer of things to track. Still, read it, comment here in the discussion thread, and we’ll decide as a group. No rush as I said, for it’s a while before we have to decide.

Role Play & Skills
As you should expect this is a very role play intensive campaign. That doesn’t mean everyone has to max out Diplomacy to function, though that skill is, admittedly, heavily used, as is Sense Motive. You should also try to make sure the party has a broad assortment of well-honed skills. If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to reach out, I’m happy to help.

Mostly I just want to make sure that no one is left sitting at the table with nothing to contribute. It’s fine if you have overlap (probably a good thing in fact), but I don’t want five players with maxed out Diplomacy & Perception and nothing else. Naturally, Diplomacy is going to be important, especially in this AP, but it shouldn’t be the only tool in the box.

Tracking Sheet
Finally, I need someone to assist me with the tracking sheet (link). I’m fine if one of you prefers to handle it, or if you rotate the requirement. I’ll teach the person(s) doing the sheet, but it’s really less complicated then it looks. My helper on this will enter most if not all the treasure, and may add some NPC data as well in time. Initially at least I’ll be doing all the NPCs and the Calendar (an extension of the summation I used to do each level). Discuss it among yourselves and let me know.

Dot!

I'm currently considering a bit of a Green Knight / Ambassador to Fairyland concept. Not least of all because Fairyland is so close to me.

Female Half-Elf aka Katherine Weaver

Good morning all! So happy to be returning to PBP even though I probably did need some down time after the last long one.

A first draft of Kamari (a vigilante) is sitting in Euan's in-box. Things are rarely quiet around this Loyalist who believes Taldor should embrace its diversity and address the great poverty and gender inequalities that hold it back. She looks forward to meeting the lot of you.

Regarding Agents of Change, I could take it or leave it. I think our influence upon the world will be measurable without it, but sometimes some system is helpful. Ultimately, I trust Euan and the rest of us to tell a good story. I don't think any of us are trying to "win" this game.

Finally, I'm always happy to assist with the tracking sheet.

Male Halfling Herder/17

You are a scholar and a gentleperson, Kamari, for taking on the Tracking Sheet.

I will support those who are interested in Agents of Change, though I am quite content with the potential RP within this group to forego it.

Female Jininese Elf Lvl 16

Yes, thanks for taking on the tracking sheet!

Male Halfling Herder/17

I know the illustrious GM asked for rolls, but are Take 10s viable going forward?

You can take-10 all the usual times, even when I call for 'rolls', which means most of the time.

The only thing that you're unable to take-10 on is the social rounds. Those will be very clear when they're happening (and haven't happened yet).

If I recall correctly, we have each gotten 2 gifts of 100 gp and 80(?) gp from our benefactors, yes?

Could the Major use 150 gp of that to get his parade armor up to masterwork quality via the Masterwork Transformation spell?

And would people consider that to be formal enough (considering his station) for the events he will be attending?

Female Jininese Elf Lvl 16

Sorry, need a bit more time. Still figuring out what direction to take.

Lots going on for me right now.

Roll20 Map - Tracking Sheet

No worries Elen, take your time.

Major, that's a good question. A fully prepared courtiers outfit includes 50gp in jewelry and 30gp in clothes. I'm certainly fine with you making your parade armor masterwork, but that's not the only thing you're wearing to the Gala. I think you'll still need other accoutrements to make it all work.

Given that you're going 'in military dress' as it were, I'm OK switching out the 50gp jewelry for a suit of masterwork parade armor, but you'll still need 30gp in a cloak, boots, and maybe even, dare I say it, a cravat.

So you'll need to spend 150gp on the Masterwork Transformation, plus 30gp in supportive clothing.

Okay, yes, thank you. Will spend his monies on the suggested upgrades.

Sorry for the delay, folks. My Fitbit records my bedtime yesterday as '4:00pm' for some reason. That's what I get for kayaking 4 hours after waking up at 5:00am, then lavishing the family with Black Dog bbq under the noonday sun...

Level up!

I do believe you should now be level 2.

Please note the things that have changed or been added, and put it all in a spoiler so those who don't want to know your build can remain in the dark. For those of you with character sheets off site, please send me your updated sheets for reference (though if it's the 'same' sheet, no need, just let me know when you're done so I can check it).

You gain all of your new abilities right away, including new spells and the like. However, you do not regain what you’ve already used/cast for today. It’s not a rest exactly, just a gain.

Roll20 Map - Tracking Sheet

Level Up!

I do believe you should now be level 3.

Please note the things that have changed or been added, and put it all in a spoiler so those who don't want to know your build can remain in the dark. For those of you with character sheets off site, please send me your updated sheets for reference. If it's the 'same' sheet, no need, just let me know when you're done so I can check it.

You gain all of your new abilities right away, including new spells and the like. However, you do not regain what you’ve already used/cast for today. It’s not a rest exactly, just a gain.

Rereading to get myself reoriented and came across this which I missed, but I'm sure other's didn't.

Fake

- Perhaps because he’s a military man himself, while there another guest mentions that one of the display items, a crossbow marked Dignity’s Barb is a fake, ”Well, a reproduction anyway. The original, a famed weapon of the Seventh Army of Exploration, was displayed in the case centuries ago, but was lost and replaced with this. It’s not a bad copy really, don’t you think?”

Real

- One case holds a finely crafted darkwood light crossbow whose brass fittings still glint like new, unlike the rest of the displays. A simple brass plaque inside the case labels it “Dignity’s Barb”.

A+ Kamari! I totally forgot about that...and it was to my character.

Nice remembering. I just knew you were good for something. ;)

That ‘real’ post above is also where we met the simpering Imistos. He completely fooled Kort.

Muri claimed the holy symbol here. I had mistakenly believed that each halfling had one, but apparently only Imistos was coined enough for silver.

Sorry, I am exploring a new phase of my career. It's been quite taxing so far, and I may be slow to post of missing some entirely. I'll try to pay more attention.

Apologies in advance as I am bound to miss stuff again though I will try not to.
