I can wait to start this second year of SFS 2e
Not that I want to complain but I expect for this year that the foundry module will include the intro.
Not seeing 1-00 in the premium module was a huge disapointment !!

Folks, We will have a whole year wandering in the bit (space) Apple !!! Absolom station, here we come !!

This season you’ll also see a few new additions to the campaign, including new boons in our boon store and a generic adventure sanctioning document, which will allow players to gain XP for their Starfinder Society characters while playing longer Starfinder adventures.

!!!

Thanks, Jessica & the Paizo people that made this happen <3
Oh and the other stuff looks cool, too! Just had to get this said, first!

Liberty's Edge

Zura ?

Dataphiles

If I recall my Starfinder Lore, the Blood Door is a reference. And the symbol and much of the other little clues make me think we are going to get a one of the oldest enemies of the Society (and most of the Pact Worlds, and plenty of others) giving it yet another shot at their ancient overarching goal.

Hopefully this doesn't dovetail in the same way the previous plan did, but perhaps it will be a good chance to play a Hologram once they are released in October!

This is all excellent news!

Exciting updates. However the Invasion's Edge plot ends, I sincerely doubt we're done with the First Ones. To paraphrase a movie "They'll be back..."

It seems we have both come to the same conclusion. I think we should be in for an atrociously good time ;-)

This right here. It was a huge oversight last year and I am glad they made the determination to make us happy =).

Absalom Book, Absalom Noval, Absalom meta plot, Absalom Ancestrie, Absalom Station Flip-Mat Multi-Pack. I'm starting to think there is a theme going on here...

Looking forward to fiding more clues about the Gap and lost Golarion. The

evidence in season one: spoiler:
That we were not in Golarion
Is proof enough for an Ancient Aliens episode.

Generic adventure sanctioning document: ↺ Athletics check, highjump.

The previewed changes look promising, though I am reserving the right to be excited once we can actually see them ^^

I am however curious about Arvin in the artwork is he some sort of spellcaster?

According to the wiki Arvin is a mystic, yes.

Arvin is indeed a mystic, he just doesn't typically use magic during briefings.

Wayfinders

So, although Arvin doesn't typically use magic during briefings, I'm wondering what a mystic mini/maxed optimized for using magic during briefings would look like.

Figment & Prestidigitation are your main spells. Measure and Illusory Object come in sometimes. If you can access pf2 spells, Musical Accompaniment for very important briefings.

Musical Accompaniment is my favorite spell in the entire game.

I started building the character, I came up with taking the multilingual feat twice from background and heritage, so they can give a briefing in as many languages as possible.

For spells, I took Guidance and Vague Idea, to help with recall knowledge checks during the briefing. Implant Date to transfer information to the party, and a message for more secure private communication. I took Illusory Object as you suggested, and Delete in case the mission briefing was classified. If SF2e had a bullhorn, I'd take that for talking to large groups.

They have Strifnder Lore, and instead of taking warfare lore, they took shipping lore because logistics wins wars, and Starfinder travels a lot.

That's about as useful a spell list as my Goblin Merchant in PF2e who started with only merchant spells. Although a Mystic has a big advantage in being useful with their vitality network. Now I just need the best equipment for giving a mission briefing.

With Absolom station having some serious issues in season 2 of SFS2, I'm sure there will be frequent needs for a mission briefing specialist who hasn't spent much time outside the station on dangerous missions.

That's perfect, my charaxcter dosen't have intimidation, but that's perfect for flavor, which is what I'm optimizing.

Looking at Laseer Eyes, too, to use as a laser pointer.

Add my name to the list of people celebrating sanctioning for the Adventure Paths.

I'm subscribed to the Adventure Paths, and in 1st Edition the Adventure Paths were the favorite thing people wanted me to run at the lodge, but in 2E it's like pulling teeth because everybody knew it "didn't count" for their character.
