The 8-round magazine is the ammunition for the Barricade Buster. No other weapon may use it, especially since based on the art of the Barricade Buster, it's not a magazine but a speed loader (The art in the Treasure Vault for the Barricade Buster shows a weapon that's clearly a muzzle loaded weapon).

The only modifications that the Air Cartridge Firing System makes to the affixed weapon are:
So, a Clan Pistol would have its range reduced to 70 feet and would be able to fire underwater. It would still have Reload 1.

Thanks guys... is it possible to modify a one-shot firearm to use a clip?
Maybe using the Gunsmith background:
Gunsmith
From a young age, you apprenticed to an experienced gunsmith and over time your skill and knowledge rose to match that of your master. Today, you can easily repair, modify, or improve nearly any firearm you’ve seen before, and even if you haven’t seen it, you’ll break it down to learn about what makes it tick in no time. You’ve taken those skills on the road, using them to assist yourself and your allies as an adventurer when it comes to maintaining their weapons, shields, armor, and more.
Choose two ability boosts. One of these boosts must be to Intelligence or Dexterity, and one is a free ability boost.
You’re trained in the Crafting skill and the Engineering Lore skill. You gain the Quick Repair skill feat.

The rules don't allow weapons to be altered other than what some classes can already do (like inventor can add certain traits to weapons). The game designers decided that the setting wouldn't have any guns with magazines.
If you want to use a gun without reload, your options are air repeater or barricade buster. I am using a barricade buster in one campaign.

Thanks man... but they do allow magazines, the slide pistol ( https://2e.aonprd.com/Weapons.aspx?ID=206) allows for up to 5 barrels that you can fire one at a time. Would that not allow me to use it as a 0 reload for at least 4 shots?
I am thinking of using the Ranger Archetype for Hunted Shot and getting some varied answers. Sure, this pistol has a reload of 1, but for 4 shots you should be able to use Hunted Shot I would think.

That's a BIG NO!
If you read the traits the slide pistol has, you'll see it has Capacity 5.
Capacity says "After a capacity weapon is fired, you can select the next loaded barrel or chamber as an Interact action that doesn't require a free hand." That's not a reload 0, it's a reload 1 you can do without needing a free hand.
Or you can look at the side pistol's stats and see that it lists it at Reload 1 and not reload 0.
If you want to use Hunted Shot, you need a Repeating weapon [Air Repeater, Barricade Buster, Long Air Repeater, Repeating Crossbow, Repeating Hand Crossbow, Repeating Heavy Crossbow], a bow [Hongali Hornbow, Gakgung, Shield Bow, Bow Staff, Long Bow, Short bow, Daikyu] or some thrown weapons [Shuriken, Chakri].

Afraid to do that, you'd need to "Invent" the weapon.
A weapon of the description you want would be a Rare recipe, so you would not be able to have it Crafted except by someone with the inventor feat.
Even then, GM oversight may lock you away from that recipe even with that feat because it's too far ahead techwise. (I personally stick to a 20 year leap limit when it comes to tech level gains in my games for example).
There is a way to fast-track the growth assuming you're playing the Lost Omens campaign setting. Which is acquiring and reverse engineering Numerian (scifi) and Stasian (1910s-20s) Earth weapons. But each of those weapons are Rare, and would either be treacherous or highly expensive to obtain. Even then, a GM might put a limiter to say the weapon is just too sophisticated to reverse engineer by giving it an exceptionally high DC to reverse engineer. And assuming you were able to convince your GM to grant you the item either via questing or via carrousing exclusive markets.
TLDR: You're not getting magazine/clip fed firearms without a very gracious GM. There are no default approaches that can take you to it. And the only ways to get it require GM permission.
