Stealth Penalty from Attacking

Advice

I’m trying to find a way to reduce the stealth penalty from attacking, I know it’s normally -20, I remember there being a way to reduce it to -10 but I’ve been playing for ten years and it’s all starting to melt together at times

Sniping Weapon Qualities?

Expert Sniper feat (and a version for kobold Kobold Sniper)

And the stealth skill unlock (if your gm allows, of course) at 5 skill ranks. ;)

The Exchange

Pick two of three for no penalty:

Expert Sniper Feat (reduce the penalty by 10)
Swift as Shadows halfling alternate racial trait (reduce the penalty by 10)
Stealth Skill Unlock (reduce the penalty by 10)

My "completely unfair NPC sniper" that I built for an insanely challenging encounter was a halfling (swift as shadows trait) slayer with Expert Sniper, Master Sniper, terrain mastery (the terrain where the encounter was taking place), and Slayer Camouflage. Oh, and a greater sniping bow and sniper goggles for good measure. Net result was that he could make two sniping sneak attacks per round from any range with a +15 bonus on his stealth check to remain hidden while standing completely uncovered.

Before anyone accuses me of being mean:
The party's mission was to escort an important NPC to safety who was the target of this assassin. Not "have a fight to the death with this lethal enemy." Which is to say that of course the party decided to have a fight to the death with the lethal enemy. A couple of breath of lifes later they suddenly remembered that the important thing was making sure their charge made it safely to the other side of town. That's when it turned into the encounter of clever improvisations and ideas it was intended to be.

And when I said +15 bonus on stealth, that's just the bonus for sniping. Added to his actual stealth skill of +25 or so, that put him at around +40 on his roll. Vs. a bunch of level 10-11 characters.

For Unchained Rogue, you have the options of the Superior Sniper and Stealthy Sniper talents.

Try a Bolt Ace Gunslinger build with a Heavy Pelletbow.
17-20/x4 is a nasty critical opportunity for a sniper. (With improved Critical feat)

Actually i have a great build for a light pelletbow bolt ace 5/ Arsenal chaplin warpriest the rest, using an elf with the crossbow training racial trait.

ends up with the same damage, but doesnt need to take the rapid reload feat

why not just use Grtr Invis:I4? or be at the edge of a fog effect and slip back into it with the mov actn or 5ft step? or shoot behind partial cover?
