Renaming Ancient Elves

Thinking of an alternate name for the Ancient Elf heritage, reflecting the fact that they're starting with the multi-class dedication feature than being just "older".

I think "Ancient" is sort of important to keep human Aiuvarin from poaching it with Elvish Atavism. That's a combination they clearly want to avoid. Like maybe you are okay with that combination, but it's worth trying to keep certain combinations of ancestries+heritages from being clearly the best ones. Since "I'm pressured to play a kind of person I don't really want to play because of the mechanical benefits" is kind of a bummer.

There are some thematic issues with "what were you doing for 200 years that you're now level 1" but that can be spun into an RPing prompt.

Liberty's Edge

Wizened perhaps? That retains the whole thing about them being older but also has connotations that they've learned many lessons in their time.

Maybe Seasoned?

Mmm... seasoned elves with extra thyme...

Also, if this isn't changing any game mechanics, is it actually homebrew?

Seasoned elf sounds like "mature elven wifes in your area"

If go with "high elves." They're too unfocused to know they're supposed to stick to one class. ;P
