Does the azlanti use their own credit system or ubps or what?

Not that I know of, I searched the PDF of Escape from the Prison Moon (Against the Aeon Throne 2 of 3) for the word credit. Didn't see anything about having to exchange credits. But other than Outpost Zed there's not a lot of opportunity to shop in Against the Aeon Throne. And Outpost Zed is the most likely place in the Azlanti Star Empire to not be reliant on only Azlanti credits. It does say you can exchange credits and ubps at Outpost Zed 1 for 1

Yeah, Azlanti has their own digital currency presumably backed by the Azlanti Star Empire government. It's roughly one to one on absalom pact credits, i believe because it's also pegged to the UPB. Most Azlanti empire citizens will take trade in UPBs more easily since they're more immediately valuable than absalom credits.

The UPB is such a broadly useful tech that I have a hard time imagining a society with access to it *not* pegging their currency to it, eventually. Even if you don't want to do so, the cost of Good X and the cost of "enough UPBs to make Good X" will converge, and you'll end up with a Cash:UPB conversion rate anyway. And since UPBs have broad practical utility, their value should be stable and encourage the currency to be, too.
