I'll finish setting up the campaigns, but wanted to share the happy news with you first.
I'll be setting up the rest and do a proper mustering call, but I got a bout of the good old 'rona that's been going around here, which is currently limiting my energy.
Given that my immune system is run by Hellknights (brutal but efficient), and I think the bad days are behind me, all should be fine soon.

Btw Library Chips don't work to identify creatures (recall knowledge only).
You've managed to avoid the real kicker so far - dispelling that fear spell was a good action. The other table I'm running didn't have that resource and are now running the combat with three out of five in panic mode, including all front-liners. What a mess.

What’s irritating about employing an encumbered condition is that there’s no counter or restorative like the rest of the debuff conditions because in 7 seasons of Starfinder society and all the rule books written it isn’t a condition you can apply. I think I just got run over by a designer driving a Fiat.
I take your point about the Fear. That would be irritating as all heck. That says it seems they just drop the front liners in a hole and take them out of combat anyhow. No save is stupid.
Oh as far as the game goes, great stuff - but from my outside hat Im a touch cross with the designer :p

Blame galactic magic: Weight of ages
Aha - gross. Kinda broken, mass damage and a condition that can;t be removed, not a strength debuff either which is cheeky, but the other effects are that it turns off abilities that wont work if you are actually encumbered - eg a jetpack doesn't work because you are too sad.
Fair enough then.
Please tell me what Tier (high or low) you prefer - it matters for this encounter (of course).

Is it just me, or have the scenarios recently swung back from being very short to running quite long?
They are finally producing solid content and crunch storylines again. Season 4 was a bit ordinary, season 5 was shocking (cost us a chunk of our player base), season 6 was a significant upswing and the storytelling in S7 seems to be fantastic - especially as they wrap story arcs.

I have been dragged into a local run of this scenario (VC has to VC) so will be eating a replay :) We're putting in a a big effort locally with S7 being the final season and getting playtests for SF2 organised - and the next few cons sorted (including my "I swear my final ever" con on a cruise ship).
Also, who of you is would be interested in a run of the playtest scenario(s)? I'd need to read up on the rules a bit, but I'm happy to try out the scenarios.
