Size issue with capacity

Rules Discussion

Is Table 6–20 applied to item's capacity too?

Including ones that doesn't count against Bulk limits.

Are you asking if a backpack made for a large creature would be able to hold 16 bulk instead of the medium 4 bulk? I don’t know, but it sounds reasonable.

I think 16 is too much, 8 makes more sense.
Saddlebags are used by large mounts and the sum can carry 2x3 bulk. 16 is too much even for a large biped creature.

Also companions and similar creatures are unable to use non-companion trait items and some exceptions like these saddlebags. So if you trying to put a backpack in a companion you probably cannot.

Companion Items

You might want to acquire items that benefit an animal or beast that assists you. These items have the companion trait, meaning they function only for animal companions, familiars, and similar creatures. Normally these are the only items a companion can use. Other items can qualify, at the GM's discretion, but an animal can never Activate an Item.

I made a mistake in using huge conversion over large. Yes, 8 it more in-line for a large backpack.
