From the section Time & The Calendar
"A more recent invention is Irrisen’s new Stasian calendar, which sets itself 2,700 years behind Absalom Reckoning for reasons that, though still unknown, may be tied to Queen Anastasia’s mysterious origins."
Is this a typo and they meant 2,800? For someone who knows a lot about Reign of Winter but hasn't read it, this has been nagging at me.

Russia switched over to the Gregorian calendar early in 1918. The tsar's family was likely already accustomed or well on their way to the calendar's regular use by the time of Anastasia's disappearance on Lost Omens Earth. There's probably something else at play with the Stasian calendar, though. :)

I was thinking less in terms of her being unaccustomed to its use and more in terms of it being hateful to her - being the calendar of her dispossessors and killers. Ah well.

I feel it is a trick Anastasia played on Baba Yaga.
Maybe Grandmother told her she would come for her in 2013. But now it will never be 2013 for Anastasia.
Who knows ? Maybe it will work.
Or not.
Right, that's what I'm saying, did the Travel Guide mean that in Irrisen the year is 1922 or 2022?

I saw there was some confusion elsewhere online, so I wanted to jump back in here to clarify something.
The current year on Earth in the Lost Omens setting is 1927 AD. The Stasian Calendar on Golarion and in Irrisen notes the current year as 2022.
Ah okay, I was one of those confused people - I was like ??? Are they setting up a crossover with modern-day Earth??
Thanks for clearing that up Luis!

If you're asking why there's a 95 year difference between the Earth and Stasian dates, that remains unrevealed at the moment. If and when we explain more about the Stasian calendar, you might understand why Queen Anastasia picked the timeframe that she did. For now, all that's been shared is the current date of the Stasian calendar, which happens to line up with 1927 AD.

I was going to write my own adventure path where Rasputin comes back and takes over Irrisen, but then I changed to 2E and now I got enough material to not have to bother. ^^
