The best part of the psychic news is the lottery numbers.
But as for the class, I think we just know a brief description of the 4 unconscious minds in terms of what they're like then a mechanical description of the 6 conscious minds in terms of what they're about (telekinesis, movement, etc.)
Also, unleashing your psyche just requires you to have cast a spell on your previous turn and not be stupefied so you can get into it really quickly, but it doesn't let you amp for free anymore (so the focus spells are stronger).

Here's the conscious minds and what I understood to be their "thing":
Distant Grasp - telekinesis
Silent Whisper - telepathy
Infinite Eye - clairvoyance
Tangible Dream - manifesting your imagination into reality
Oscillating Wave - energy manipulation (heating/cooling things)
Unbound Step - teleportation

Also, have we heard anything about that halfling psychic thief being caught yet?
Or is the small medium still at large?
If you are indirectly asking if anything was spoiled for a new Medium, the closest thing we got is an archetype called Living Vessel that involves an entity (examples: aberration, demon, fey) housing itself in your body and if you are taken down to 0 HP, it takes over your body, possibly as an NPC.

From discord reveals it also seems like unleashing your psyche will give various buffs depending on your subclass choice and open you up to using spell like abilities gained through class feats (and also subclass choice?). I'm pretty excited to play the release psychic now...more so than any of the other pure casters.

Ditto! I’ve bounced off every caster other than the Magus so far, but the Psychic sounds /fascinating/ to play around with.

I heard that they're getting unique actions that can only be used while in a Psyche.
Infinite Eye gets something about granting precision damage to allied attacks.
Another subclass gets a 1-action concealment, which is pretty nice for a third action on a fragile caster.
They also mentioned that granted cantrips will be a little bit better even without amping- for example, Distant Grasp psychic's mage hand gets stronger all the time.

I wonder how Unbound Step would work out.
Will they ever get to teleport more frequently? Would a 20th level class feat that enables at-will short range teleportation still be world-economy shattering OP?

Until your next turn, a teammate can go into the entrance portal and come out the exit portal. This is the cantrip version--when you amp it you just open the portal and jump through. You can sustain it either way ^_^”

There's a couple blasting options that sound pretty good too; it seems to be a pretty narrowly focused caster where you pick your Good Thing to be good at. Which is great, not something that you can do very well with the existing casters.

I was looking forward to making a telekinetic psychic based on the playtest alone, but these new ideas and options make it even more anticipated.

Since they buffed the cantrips I'm hoping this means that the cantrip I complained about in specific, Nudge Intent, actually does *something* now. Rather than just being two wasted actions. I'm quite excited for the class, it's very cool thematically and I hope they also gave it master in perception (I would hope it got legendary because it is thematic but it probably is too much for whatever internal power budgeting they have)

I'll be interested to see what they have done with the class in general, given how much has been moved around. Hopefully something interesting was done to compensate for the fewer spell slots - if that was even retained. Unleash Psyche seems to have changed the most, with most bespoke variants being gone - no more -2 to AC on a 6HP class XD (that one was so absurd it was just funny, even for a playtest) - and it behaving more like a sort of metal "rage" mechanic with some bonus damage and actions you can only do during it. What I heard was all good stuff, so I'm hopeful.
If the class is at least pretty good, I might play my first caster after all. I was rather ambivalent about the Dark Archive before Paizocon, but the Psychic hype just slowly creeped up on me.

I'm really hoping the final release for psychic has something that incorporates the shield cantrip, even if it's just a singular class feat. A force field surrounding you with telekinetic power just seems very psychic to me.
