As noted, I'm interested. Looks like this is intended to be our first mission as Pathfinders? If so, I'll probably bring in a new character.
As noted, I've got a kitsune boon. I might try to use that if I can just figure out a good character to go with it (if not, I can probably come up with something else).
The Laughing One |
Hello. You don't know me. Or maybe you do several times over.
...we may be cousins. Shhh! It's a secret!
...remember how I asked you to switch the God's Market Gamble credit over? I made a mistake... If you're able to switch it back to 12657-8, I'd be grateful. I regret any inconvenience.

Let's get character names and avatars going!
I'm going to get the first post up either late tonight or tomorrow morning. As I mentioned, there will be a couple days of roleplay where you can sort out any lingering crunch about your character.
I'm tempted to run this with 4 or 5 instead of 6 so that it can proceed at a swifter pace.
DM Panic |
I think we may be full, with 2 characters ready:
"The Laughing One"
Adebisi
And with four players cranking away on characters:
motteditor
Twigs
Lamontius
Lamontia
I'll be out at a "thing" tomorrow evening, so it might be Sunday before a first post gets up to kick things off, but I think you guys might need tomorrow to cement your characters and such.
Archibald the Addled |
Quick question. Does anybody know the Society's stance on the ability score penalties for age? I am a wizard you know. I can't be expected to remember everything.
Edit: Good god. I need to look for a new avatar. I just noticed that PZO9531-Toff.jpg looks like Nicholas Cage's evil twin.
Adebisi |
Archibald the Addled: PFS does not use age adjustments to ability scores.
Gray Reek: I still feel bad about getting you killed in Rats of Round Mountain. It's good to see you here though.
You can have all the CLWs.
Archibald the Addled |
Much obliged. Will fill out Archibald's sheet now. Edit: Pretty much there, Have to make my mind up about a familiar/arcane bond and give him the necessary fleshing out and we're set!
Gray Reek: I still feel bad about getting you killed in Rats of Round Mountain.
I smell a tale here. Would you care to share it? :)

Adebisi |
Mostly people were being difficult to muster so we ended up with 2 high level tables instead of one low and one high forcing the Gray Reek to play 10-11. Then I rolled a 1 on my UMD check to Breath of Life him, when of course a 2 was necessary.
Saint Bernard de Clairveaux |
Fortunately, the Gray Reek had plenty of PA for Raise Dead. His player had made a terrible tactical move unbecoming of a cowardly witch.
Twigs, you really shouldn't worry about playing a second dwarf. I recently played some sessions in an all-dwarf game, and it was one of the fonnest gaming experiences I've ever had.

Hrm, I'm rather at a loss for traits. I'm leaning pretty heavily toward a bonded weapon at this stage, that floating spell being what it is. I've always leant toward bonded items since pathfinder rolled around, always finding familiars a bit superfluous in 3.5. That said I feel like a mangy cat or something to converse with would add a lot to his character. That said I think I'll go with the staff.
I'm excited to have a gunslinger, with the assortment of loud noises they're accompanied by, to be a grouch about.

Finally got the avatar. Was missing the add image button. Thanks.
FWIW, please use Hooli's HeroLab sheet if needed, DM. I'll work on fixing up the spoilered BB code bits below but at the moment, most of them are ganked from another character as a template.
Drail Harlon |
Just FYI, Wakedown, my crunch/fluff is all set. You can find anything you might need on my character profile, linked up and good to go.
AC / Armor Check penalties are currently set with my armor on, but as far as I know, I'm not wearing any of it at the festival gathering, so I'll post up some alternate fancy-clothes numbers later on today.
Twigs |
I daresay I'm a little young for that! It was a good night, though. My lady-friend of three years studies historical costume and the making thereof and we hardly see each other with how busy it keeps her (ridiculous hours six days a week).
Turns out no amount of schmoozing will cover the expense of getting dressed up as a regency dandy though.
Hooli Jinowarui |
It's a fun character, though I think most of them in that game are a lot of fun. Good group. The one I'm thinking of play in the next scenario's a bit similar -- I've really got his voice down, though, which I'm still struggling with for Hooli (and Ramli, for that matter).
Twigs |
I haven't read as much as I'd like for fear of spoilers, but it looks like a great group.
I definitely know what you mean when it comes to voice. Harrol's a bit of a challenge for me because I'm used to something a bit more... bombastic. Especially in PFS with less time to establish your character, I knew that next time I wanted something more audacious.
Archibald the Addled |
With the additional +1 of Abedesi's bless, everything looks in order. I'd forgotten the extra +1 from strength however. Good catch! Too late for an edit but thats 4 rather than 3 damage.
And yeah, I've always put a lot of stock on strength as an attribute on any low level character, no matter their BAB. At the higher levels, Pathfinder Polymorph and Tenser's Transformation can both benefit from a good strength score, and mirror image can make up for his appaling dex (although that said, I'm currently going strong for the "most times unconcious" award this week)
Adebisi |
Glad to help out.
As a note I'm playing Doom Comes to Dustpawn all day today and Ruby Phoenix all day tomorrow so don't expect much from me over the weekend.
If it does come around before I'm back Adebisi will try and stay out of the way of other ranged combatants and use his CLW wand on allies that get hurt.
