TACTICS
Before Combat: Despite his poor eyesight and near-deafness, Archibald can act as party scout with his Send Senses ability, though the information the mad wizard can share is not always the most useful.
During Combat: Archibald will use his magic missiles sparingly to dispatch dangerous opponents, instead focusing on daze and ray of frost until engaged in melee. He does not hesitate from giving an unsuspecting foe a wallop with his staff, but is better suited to walloping ignorant apprentices, uninvited houseguests and other people who don't strike back. When reduced to low hitpoints and threatened, Archibald will use his Obscuring Mist scroll and attempt to hide.
ABILITIES
Forewarned (Su): Archibald can always act in the surprise round even if he fails to make a Perception roll to notice a foe, but is still considered flat-footed until he takes an action.
Send Senses (Sp): As a standard action, Archibald can place a scrying sensor at a point within medium range (100 feet + 10 feet/wizard level) that he can see and has line of effect to. You can see or hear (not both) through this sensor for number of rounds equal to 1/2 your wizard level (one round). The sensor otherwise functions as a clairaudience/clairovoyance spell. He can use this ability six times per day.
BIO
Appearance: Clad in dust-covered robes and a pointed hat with a once well-trimmed beard growing increasingly more unkempt.
History: Once a great wizard in his prime, Archibald's skills have fallen into decay in the Pathfinder Society, where through some accident of bureaucracy he has only had one assignment, a tedious 10-year affair chronicling dwarf-runes and the near abandoned Sky Citadel of Kravenkus. He's spend the three decades since toiling in the libraries of the Grand Lodge, trying (and failing) to have his works published, his temper and wits getting worse by the day.
