Best Source for Serpentfolk Lore?

Pathfinder First Edition General Discussion

I gather the serpentfolk are the Pathfinder version of the yuan-ti, with the various servitor races represented by the vishkanya and nagaji.

Is there a source which gives a detailed overview of the serpentfolk and their servitors in Golarion lore, equivalent to how Serpent Kingdoms went into detail on the yuan-ti?

The back sections of serpents skull books should help. Past the adventure itself in every AP are flavour sections to fill lore. Serpents skull is the best ap for your query. Just avoid the AP itself if you've interest in playing.

Okay, thanks. Are there any other sources I should look at, or is the AP pretty much it?

Check the cited references for Serpentfolk on the pathfinderwiki, and while you are at it just check the wiki entry.

Serpentfolk origins are Lovecraft. Lots of Pathfinder creatures come from or are inspired by his writings.

It's a bit more complicated than that.

I'd also have zero surprise if Mr. Jacobs also drew some inspiration from Land of the Lost.

Thanks for that link, Bjørn, very interesting indeed. I hadn't realized that serpentfolk/yuan-ti had such a deep pedigree in pulp culture.
