A Modest Proposal: More Evil PC Options

So there's probably a lot of other stuff on everybody's dinner plate, but consider this: More options for Evil PCs! I doubt its worth a hardcover so maybe the backmatter in a few AP books?

Are there more "Evil organizations" than the ones we already know about? What does a "Sith Lord" Solarion look like? Show me a violent, marauding Vanguard or a Biohacker torturer! Gimme more info on bad guy pirates or the Dominion of the Black! Gimme the bad guy stuff!

I can only think of one “good guy” option so far: the crusader Mystic connection. Starfinder doesn’t really do aligned options.

Good, bad; I’m the guy with the gun.

There is a dominion themed magic item in Dawn of Flame, there aren’t a lot of devastation or shadow Mystics who are nice, and necrografts are sketchy. That’s about as much as you can expect.

The hope for a kind of "faction book" has been around for a while. With an entire galaxy to explore though, it's understandably not happening that fast.
We got Pact Worlds, Near Space is coming... Maybe Far Space next, if only for the Azlantis ? I don't know what's planned.

The Diaspora Free Captains would fit in a faction-type book.
Plus I still want to know what those new Hellknight orders do, and which minor ones are around.
And more information about the one true megacorp that is the Aspis Consortium.
Plus we'll get to see who the bad guys and organized crime are in the Veskarium soon, and I if that book is similar to PW, that info will have to be somewhat superficial on the organization aspect, to fit the pages. Maybe more in depth actually, since the Veskarium is likely more united than the Pact system. Hmm. Hopes up.
Etc..

We still know little about most of Golarion on the PF side, it'll be a while before we're done exploring the galaxy on this side.

Beyond BG information though, I have to agree with xenocrat : the options we have aren't really "aligned". You can be a true monster with what the CRB has. Or a real good guy.
I actually feel like the few we do have are more thematically evil on average, though I'll admit I haven't counted.

I'm honestly not saying that the options we have are exclusively good, I'm saying I'd like more scoundrel type options, then again...now that you mention it, more exclusively good options would be nice too.

I apologize, thecursor, but I'm not sure whether to take your OP seriously or not because your title references Jonathan Swift's infamous satirical essay that his contemproraries didn't get the joke and thought he really was suggesting cannibalism as public policy.

This IS genuine, right? Not some sort of joke or commentary about the issues surrounding playing evil characters?

Yes, I know who Jonathon Swift is, yes I am aware of his social proposal, this, however, is LITERALLY a MODEST PROPOSAL for Evil Character options.

Okay! Thank you for the clarification! :)

So in the Armory 2 wishlist thread one thing I voiced a desire for was more biotech augmentations with a distinct body horror, mad scientist experimenting on themselves gone horribly wrong, vibe. The kind of stuff that a PF1E alchemist could do to themselves with discoveries and mutations, or would result from some of the nastier sorcerer blood lines. Tentacles, vestigial limbs, removing and preserving organs, tumor familiars, conjoined twins, stuff like that and more.

Now, disgusting as all of it may be, most of it isn't inherently villainous, to be sure. But the main reason I want it is that a reoccurring villain character of mine was a vivisectionist alchemist who had a lot of these discoveries and I'd like to do an updated version of that character in SF.

Also I want playable Jinsul. We've got playable Greys and Reptoids, we can have playable Jinsul.

And maybe a dominion of the black race. Maybe like a humanoid neothelid.

As counterpoint, I prefer having the game mechanics separated from the attitudes and personalities of the characters.

If 45% of the character options are not available because they make no sense for a character of a certain persuasion, then it is rather limiting. If a good, heroic, noble character can only use two thirds of the abilities and a backstabbing, cruel, dominating character can only use two thirds of the abilities, then no matter what character you choose to play, there will always be some options that don't really work.

If operatives are always villian characters, or mechanics are always good... why?

On the other hand: organizations, lore, societies, and other role-playing stuff. Those should definitely exist for characters of all types. As specifically as possible, and in as large of quantities as is feasible.

I get what everyone is saying that much of what we have works fine but I'm looking for something small that we can sink our teeth into a little, one or two archetypes or themes that are evil only. Considering how Archetypes and themes work, that could be a big deal.
