I want to be as permissive as possible in this while keeping it manageable. Gunslinger and guns are an option.
Dropping in to make a note of my interest! Never played Iron Gods before, definitely would like to give it a shot. Tentatively looking at playing a half-orc TWF Ranger, but that may well change. I’ll try and submit that plus a few other ideas properly before too long.
Are there any major/notable house rules in play here or RAW mostly?
RAW mostly. I generally run PFS so I don't houserule much at all.

In all my years of pathfinder I’ve never tried a gunslinger. I think that this would be the perfect campaign for one.
Specifically, a Pistolero.
Race: Human
Trait: Rough and Ready, against the technic league
Feats:
Lvl1: Gunsmithing, Point Blank Shot, Weapon Finesse
Lvl 3: Precise Shot
Lvl 5: Rapid Shot, Dex to damage
Idea being that he can use the pistol as an improvised weapon should he run out of ammunition. Build would only “turn on” at lvl5 as that is when he would get dex to damage with both shooting and close combat. Though by then he would hopefully not have ammo issues.
Think it would be fun to finally try it out
Ok I'd probably do a wizard/cleric/theurge of Nethys. Assuming the rest of the players don't mind me being fairly useless for levels 4-8.
I've been highly interested in getting involved in a PbP full AP for quite some time now. I've got a long list of PbP games I've played on my campaigns tab if you are using past posting as part of your selection criteria. Mostly PFS and modules. I did play in Reign of Winter with a group of friends, but we took it offline starting with Book 4 and I've been itching to get back on the boards in an AP ever since.
I've got a handful of ideas that I could adapt for any one of the APs you have suggested. The only one I would not be able to participate in is Kingmaker, I'm already in a local game for that one. I would prefer to see what game is actually in the barrel to run and then cultivate a character that fits that APs flavor.
If you are looking for votes to determine how much interest you have in the different selections, I would personally vote for Shattered Star.

I was thinking the same thing. Possibly dip into swashbuckler (Picaroon) for TWF & Finesse with a light weapon in one hand, gun in the other.
How many tables can the GM run at once ;)
Heh...I was considering a savage technologist dip of two levels for a similar idea. :)
Also super up for Iron Gods- I'd like to submit a halfling Mwangi shaman who's far from home and looking for a grand tale to bring back to his tribe. Support specialist for a hyper-coordinated party!
Alternately, a half-orc bloodrider who's "destined" to unite the Shoanti and reclaim Korvosa from the execrable Chelish vermin.
I have some vague ideas for an aerokineticist if it goes Iron Gods. Ride the lightning!
All these potential characters sound great! Looking at a potential Android Blossoming Light Cleric(flavored as redristibuting nanites in an area) who worships Brigh.

I was thinking gun-wielding Magus (Eldritch Archer). Or possibly Alchemist (Gun Chemist).
First time seeing gun alchemist. Man, an elf just seems perfect for one.
I’ve always been interested in Iron Gods and would love a chance to play. I’m flexible on characters, but I do have a PC I like that I made for a past Iron Gods recruitment that I wasn’t selected for. He’s a bard (archaeologist) named Old Scrapper and of course, I’d update him to whatever creation rules you want if I get in.

While I'd prefer Hell's Rebels I would be interested in Iron Gods.
How would the rules be on races? Looking at alien races but also things like Ratfolk and Goblins.
