So I’d heard the mask guy is an Iruxi, and I think the spooky one with the beetles is a duskwalker. Anyone else spot any sneaky new material?
I wondered if he was a half-orc, myself.
Duskwalker is probably a better guess than an albino dark elf.
I've really enjoyed the intros and the acting so far. But I'm not that much into my viewing yet.

I had wondered if he was a full-orc. I seem to recall a reaction of some sort when someone mentioned orcs.

Am I the only one having a problem with the sound? Sometimes it's quite quiet, other times it's so loud. The (occasional) music sometimes makes it hard to hear what people are saying.
Add to that, that english is not my native tongue and the accents of some of the players...
You should definitely turn on the subtitles. Of course they are automatic, and sometimes they miss the mark, but they are quite enough to get a general idea of what is being said.

Highly entertaining! They're great role players, it was good to see how the system plays happily with a 'high role play' group. I'm hoping to see how their strong character ideas come out through the system hopefully showcasing some of Pathfinders unique character customisation possibilities. We got a bit of that already with the ranger abilities.
It was interesting to see the game not played with a battle map. There was that moment with Omlet the other side of the town square where a map would have been a bit easier for everyone. Pathfinder really does lean towards having a map imho.
There was quite a lot of attacking with the 3rd action going on: I'm assuming it's the players getting used to an entirely new system - once they have we might see a few other actions in there during combat, from class feats and so on.
And also it's great marketing to get the game in front of the Geek & Sundry audience!

Great Show, thank you. It is normal that the Players need to get comfortable with a new system and Level 5 characters on top of that - but it is a great introduction with very colourful Background, and Fitting in really nice with the ongoing changes in Golarion.
First time I listen to someone referring to their character as "they" in first person - I read about it on gender Forums and it's great to hear it in actual use.
The Players have some pretty fun Backgrounds and reasons for being on the way to Lastwall - would be great to see if they used actual Backgrounds as Inspiration.

I was genuinely impressed that they got through three combats on top of character introductions and some roleplaying scenes. I don't know if it's that PF2 is that much quicker at resolving combats or that my playgroup are just terrible at staying focused, but either way it's a good amount of content to get through in three hours.

I watched the YouTube episode and the stream, and I have to say that Omelet is by far my favorite character with her naïveté and upbeat attitude. Gina DeVivo also really brings her to life and makes Omelet a very likeable dwarf. Next up would probably be the champion. It’s a shame that these two talk the least out of everyone.
Also, Mr Bulmahn, I’m really enjoying your dming in both this and the Oblivion Oath. It has been a lot of fun watching.

I liked the way extra hero points got awarded when PCs got themselves (or other PCs...) in trouble and were later used to get out of different trouble.
Did any of the players ever remember what does Inspire Courage do and actually add it to their rolls?
The start of the episode 5 is not looking to be a walk in the park. On the other hand, I feel like if the PCs survive it they might be due for a level up!

This is a great series. I've tried Oblivion Oath (needs more aggressive players), Critical Role, Acquisition Incorporated, and some others, but they've really never garnered my attention. This one, I think, is something that I'd want to listen to long term. It's a shame it's only 8 episodes.
Also, Omelette is amazing.

Episode 5 is now up on YouTube!
Up until now I've felt like the series was entertaining, but probably couldn't hold my attention beyond the limited run. After episode 5, I don't ever want this to end. You've got something special here, and I hope you can find a way to make more episodes happen in the future.

This is excellent. The fact that the cast is of very varied personalities (some are more extroverted, some introverted) and land on various part of the "roleplay vs. rollplay" spectrum makes it feel like it was indeed a bunch of people you play with at the table. Critical Role, excellent as it is, goes sometimes a bit over the top as the cast tries to outdo each other in the "this will be a GIF moment people will do fanart about" department. Knights of Everflame are deliciously nuanced and thus, believable.
Also, whenever you face a challenge in your life, or feel like the odds are against you, ask yourself this question:
What would Omelette do?
And do it.

I actually subscribed to the Twitch channel just so I could watch episode 6 without having to wait a week, and it only confirmed my feelings. This is the best new live play show to come along in a while. The characters are great, and they interact really well with each other. The story is engaging, with plenty of good twists and turns. I actually care about what happens next, which is something most shows like this never achieve. Heck, some of my own games never manage that!

That last part is kinda depressing xD

Sometimes the characters just don't click with each other or the story. We usually quit those games and move on to something else. All the games I'm currently running/playing in are great.

The joys of trying to run a bluff check when you don't speak the language they're speaking.
Also, I've been in Jason's shoes there at the end. Wonderful plan for the villain and the inquisitor just happened to take a new spell that level as a "just in case". Dimensional Anchor wrecked my whole combat.

I’d asked upthread, but a few new episodes have happened yet; are any of the players using not-yet-released character options?
There's a half-elf/half-dhampir and a... we have no idea because the other possibly new option character has worn a mask the entire time so far. However, best guess on the other one has been an orc.
