Removed a whole lot of posts and the responses to them.
This thread went way way off topic. It is clear that pretty early on all of you were aware that it had gone off topic. If a thread goes off topic please don't continue to drive it off topic. Flag the off topic posts and get back on topic.
Every bit of media is influenced and informed by real life peoples and cultures. No one has ever written anything that is completely alien and completely uninspired by real world people. In most ways the various beings in fantasy and sci-fi products are just humans in costumes. They may have pointy ears, or be short and stocky, or have tusks, but under that they are mostly just humans, because that is all humans know how to be. Because a fictional culture doesn't draw from your own culture doesn't mean it doesn't draw on someone elses. When those people tell you there are problematic parts of that fictional culture it is because they see their cultures being treated disrespectfully or disparaged.
I am going to unlock the thread. Let's keep it on topic this time.

I'll be honest, it's not easy to tell offhand what the main topics are in a lot of these thread. "MOVING ON FROM THE PLAYTEST" doesn't jump out as any particular topic. So I notice replies in a thread I posted in before, see something I want to reply to and post. If I notice something is off, I'll flag but here it didn't jump out.
So is there any new info on the panel in question?

A lot of people, myself included, hate carrying around consumable items they expect to use, and instead prefer consumables for emergencies.
Exactly. The ideal case for scrolls is having one for a spell that you almost never need to use, but is critical to have when needed, like Stone to Flesh.
