Abysal Bloodrager Feat selections

Advice

Hi everyone, sorry if this has been asked before, but I couldn't find the answers as the relate to my character. I've got a Lvl 3 Abysal Bloodrager, Half-orc. Str-19, Sex-16, Con-18, Int-12, Wis-15, Cha-15 using a +2 Great Axe

Currently I have Power Attack (I took it as my starting feat, I didn't. want to wait for it and there are other choices when I get my Class Feat).

So my question is, what are some top choices for my feat choice? I'm thinking Arcane Strike, Iron Will, and Raging Vitality. Im on the fence if I want something to keep me alive or to increase DMG. If there are any other feats I haven't mentioned that should be considered (possibly some that I haven't seen in the CRB or ARB please let me know.

Thanks for your help.

My first question is: How'd you get a +2 greataxe at level 3?

Ability scores look way too high for 3rd level, too.

Furious Focus "Of course I / Why wouldn't I Power Attack" Many GMs will use the same assumption for circumstances like confusion and murderous command, so your party will appreciate Iron Will and Improved Iron Will.

Abyssal bloodrager gets enlarge at 4th level, so Combat Reflexes is another natural choice.

Thanks for not answering the question. Ability scores are what I rolled, and as for the axe, got it adventuring. Ask the DM if you have any more questions, or you could piss off

It's a valid question, because this is the PFS forum, for Organized Play. I'm thinking that this bloodrager is in a home game, because in Organized Play, we use a 20 point buy system and you don't always get to keep all the loot you find adventuring.

So either you're in the wrong forum, or you aren't following the rules of Organized Play.

But to answer your original question, I'd second the choice of Furious Focus. Free Power Attack for your first attack each round is pretty nice.

As for your question. Iron Will, especially to help with charm & other mind control effects. It's a bad thing when the big guy turns on the party under a villain's control.

1 person marked this as a favorite.

Furious focus is a great choice. Iron will is a bit boring, but very good.

As a sidenote, if you are using a greataxe, you probably aren't using the claws from the abyssal bloodline. Ask your GM if you can use the bloodline familiar from Familiar Folio to swap out your claws for a cool familiar! Something with +1 AC, +4 initiative, or +2 will saves is probably best, not to mention the +2 perception (and Sense Motive) you get from Alertness.

So, you're saying I posted in the wrong forum, sorry, my bad.

Some good advice nonetheless, much appreciated.
