I'm not sure if Magical Knack works with spheres of power or not, but my GM has limited it to 1 CL increase. There are a few traits to increase a few spheres or +2 CL with restrictions on a specific sphere and the "Gift of Magic", which gives +2 CL to a sphere of your choosing.
Conjuration has Boon Companion talent to increase your summon as though you were 5 levels higher (not exceeding HD).
Is there any other way to increase caster level without a certain class? I was looking into playing a martial like the Armorist or a Champion of Spheres archetype for the Soulknife, and looking for a way to bump up the CL of a sphere.

I think a trait like Magical Knack was left on purpose for two reasons.
1) Multiclassing isn't as big a hit to a Sphere caster, especially into another Spherecasting Class since your caster levels would stack into one barring multiple traditions. Your caster level would lag behind, but since you aren't reliant on spell slots and a majority of abilities don't require spell points you could be okay(Basic/Advanced Magical Training helps with this with non-Spherecasting classes).
2) It would quickly become a "must have" trait for anyone that wasn't a full caster.
Aside from classes, traits, and maybe a feat or two, you could look into taking enough drawbacks to get certain Boons.
Wild Surge, Sanguine Empowerment, Overcharge, Metamagic Expert, Empowered Abilities, Deathful Magic, and Atmoturgy will all increase your caster level under certain conditions. The most reliable are Wild Surge and Overcharge, but both have their risks.
