Can Sleeves of many garments disguise the appearance of magic items?

Rules Questions

Second Seekers (Jadnura)

Do sleeves of many garments alter the appearance of magic items? Specifically i would like to wear a goz mask without standing out too much.

Scarab Sages

Oof that's borderline. I think either no, or it makes you look like you're wearing a *different* mask of some kind, but that's just my opinion.

I am also inclined to say no as well. If you made your garments into an outfit that might have its own face covering, like say a ninja's bodysuit, I'd say you looked like a ninja wearing a goz mask.

The wearer of these sleeves can, when she slips them on, choose to transform the appearance of her current garments into any other nonmagical set of clothing.

So, I guess the question is if the goz mask counts as a "garment". Assuming it does, then I think it would still need to have the appearance of a mask.
