The point this thread was making was "here's some positives about the playtest", because frankly, this forum seems to be the one place I keep seeing negativity towards the game; it's a pretty positive look from most other places I've seen it discussed. Alas, edition wars will be edition wars. Here's hoping you all check back in in August rather than dismiss a testing document which is still, in my honest opinion, a much more promising start than PF1's core rulebook. Sure, some stuff needs rebalancing and changing- but that's why it's a Playtest, not a finished edition! And as far as "not enough choice" complaints go, I'm baffled that people think 1e at it's core gave remotely any choice compared to 2e. Choices to customize are made every level, and a lot of these add huge flavour! My players had characters with more fun options, more great traits, etc, than we could have hoped to do at such low levels in 1e. In the end, I suppose, some people won't ever be happy- but I know my group will be!

Given the number of baiting, insulting, and edition warring posts in this thread already, I really don't see a reason to leave it open. For future posts, please don't start out with "this is going to start a flame/edition war" and in general it isn't helpful for discussion to make assumptions, stereotypes or sweeping generalizations about the motivations of other community members and the goals of other gamers. Generally helpful ways to phrase feedback is to use personal or "I" statements. "I feel...", "In my experience...." "From my perspective...", "When I hear X, I feel Y...". This allows more room for discussion and sharing of subjective viewpoints rather than pushing the conversation into debating or trying to disprove opinions as if they are facts.
