*glances at Ragadolf while bundling up his axe selling stand*
Hmmm...what was that?
Sorry, but I wasn't listening to you.

Doing ok here. Aside from canceling my bi-weekly game nights shelter in place and such hasn't affected me at all. I'm a crabby recluse by nature. I was born for quarantine. I figure I'll be staying put for a while longer. Our illustrious governor opened up restaurants to limited indoor dining starting today, and some retail businesses opened yesterday. He said he was "disappointed" to see so many people not observing social distancing. The paper showed a photo inside the local T.J. Maxx store and it looked like a Black Friday at Walmart the first 5 minutes after the doors were unlocked. I'm not going back into that madness.
We might try to see if we can do remote gaming with some of the group this weekend. Everybody but one guy said they're in, so we'll see, I guess. Now I've got to get off my butt and come up with a game. Oh, sure. I've had weeks and weeks to prepare something, but by golly, I'm the Eternal GM and I decided I wasn't going to even think about gaming for a while. It was surprisingly relaxing.

I know what you mean. I've told several people "this is what I'm trained for." I've spent 7 years as a writer and before that a decade in academia--both jobs where I spend VAST amounts of time by myself. In fact, since social distancing and quarantine have started, I've been having MORE conversations, because my neighbors (and all their kids) are at home all day now--and they're kind of desperate for human interaction, even in the form of talking six feet or more away.
We have been gaming remotely. I'm not a very big fan--it's like trying to eat only 30% of the calories, or being in a room where all the light bulbs except one have burned out. Still, the freaky non-Euclidean city they're currently it is a lot easier to run if I don't have to worry about maps...
There was a local headline: "Reopening stores greet wary customers with masks, hand sanitizers, and arrows."
All I could picture was Jennifer Lawrence standing outside a mall, bow drawn, muttering: "Welcome to Belk, you virus-riddled swine."
May the odds be ever in her favor.
