If the answer is no, thank it for its service and hack it to bits.
A very effective method.
That would solve a LOT of space issues in MY house. :PSadly, aging Wizzie is a PACKRAT wizzie! :(

I'm doing better. Mom isn't. Right now my major complaints are: It hurts when I laugh or cough...but that might be from all the vomiting.
Also 2 hours ago, my dogs and I were involved in a dog fight. (Galway didn't start it, but he certainly didn't let it get resolved as he should. I couldn't get him to let go of the neighbor's dog ear or at least near it...) So now I'm typing with a slight limp. But good news, I've had worse! :)
Still wondering if these are signs I should sleep through the rest of winter.

It probably is. Vomiting really strains your abdominal muscles, and that soreness can last several days after the fact.
Sneezing in that state is even worse.

Oooo!
That hurts just remembering that pain! :PHAd part of a kidney removed, cancer, lots of tiny robot arms up in my bisness. :P Recovering on the couch, hurt to think about sitting up, and the pain meds made me sneeze >_<
Get better soon! :)

TACTICS
Every morning, Sleestak Cleric casts status on strategically selected allies thoughout the castle. As soon as Sleestak Cleric realize the party's in the area (likely because the alarm is raised or because one of the creatures with status cast on it becomes damaged), Sleestak Cleric unloads all of their prepared buff spells on Karakhul (left unselected, since I don't know what spells Karakhul would like the best), and then casts air walk, cat's grace, bull's endurance, and bear's strength on themself. When they hear the sounds of combat nearby, Sleestak casts their lower-duration buffs - divine favor for themself, blessing of fervor for everyone (unless Karakhul has a better way of getting haste), spell resistance (on Karakhul, probably) and likely several others, perhaps some high end summons. Sleestak Cleric then readies an action to cast an attack spell (likely wall of stone).
In combat, Sleestak Cleric uses air walk to position with impunity, putting themself where anyone who wants to attack them will have to eat an AoO to get there. Ideally, they mostly use their attacks of Opportunity to buff Karakhul's AC (because of their benevolent armor, they can boost Karakhul's AC by 4 in this way). Whenever they hit a PC, they use their conductive weapon with their bleeding touch domain power to stack up bleed damage. Whenever injured, they use quickened channel energy to harm the living - which also heals them. The PCs'll probably save against it, but it's a bit of guaranteed damage.
If the PCs kill Karakhul, Sleestak Cleric retreats with the corpse if at all possible, without it if not. My table has a house rule that scrolls take as long to cast as the spell they imitate, but RAW they always take a standard action. If that's how your table plays it, Sleestak Cleric might use their scroll of raise dead in combat.

No snow down south, but had lots of rain last night and this morning.
Going to get down to almost freezing here tonight.
(Hey, in south Lousy-anna, that's a big deal!)
:P
Plan to visit father in law tomorrow (New Orleans) and watch the Last New Orleans Saints game with him.
THEN I plan to enjoy a nice, lazy monday off! :)
Nice work on the sleestak cleric!

It's 19 here, with a wind chill of "strip your flesh off the bone" (which is about 20 degrees above "what the f$#+").
My former Florida ass is sitting the f### inside.
But walking my dogs was a chore. Now I know why cats are so damn popular. In every other way a dog is superior, but I would kill to just empty a litter box and walk away right now.

DungeonmasterCal |

Dogs are still worth it.
Our dog loves snow.
I so wish I had a place for my dogs to play in snow and that I can let them off the leash. They love it but I don't dare let them loose without leashes. They only have a small pen to go into when I need them to be outside for a short time, so not much play area for snow. I also can't take them to the dog park because Rosie can be unpredictable with other dogs.

I'm so bored. All I've done is sit on my butt and look at Facebook and the forums for new posts. All day so far. But my depression is hellish today and my pain levels are right there with it so I can't motivate myself to do anything, though even the tiniest bit of work in my disastrous looking kitchen would help it look better. I just...can't.

The original instruction book for the NES Super Mario Bros. game said that those bricks were residents of the kingdom who were turned into blocks.
Mario is a murdering sociopath.

So yes, this is the wrong subforum to ask for gaming advice, but I asked the following question in an Advice thread 4.5 hours ago and not a single bite. I'm working on my next weekend's game to help occupy my mind for the moment, but I really need an answer to this question.
I have a player who runs a Mesmerist. One of his favorite tactics is to use Psychic Duel on the enemy. I have to ask him EVERY time what my NPC villain or whatever needs to do when this happens. But for some reason, I am completely unable to grok what on earth he's saying. He's not a rules lawyer (though he could be if he wanted) and knows the rules nearly word for word. But every time he tries to explain it to me my brain just glazes over and I let him tell me how to respond to his character's actions. I need to know the rules for myself, so could ANYone break them down for me and explain them in a concise, short form?

Do you like PDFs, and do you have Occult Adventures.
Also, Half Price books in our area has Pathfinder books I can see if anything on your wish list is there, I know for a fact they have Mythic Adventures and Pathfinder Unchained.
PM me your address and I can pick something up super cheap and send it to you.

DungeonmasterCal |

I guess I should've said I OWN Occult Adventures but I don't HAVE it here at the house right now...LOL, It's loaned out to one of my players who is looking things over and trying to decide whether or not he wants to play a class from the book. I own all the expansion hardcovers except for except for the NPC book(s?). But thank you for your very generous offer!
Tell ya what. Let's hold off on looking through everything tonight. I took my night time meds a short time ago and they're beginning to turn off the lights in my cerebellum. I'll be online all day again tomorrow unless I can work up the gumption to do some housework. Even then I can only do so much at a time before my pain overwhelms me and I have to sit and rest again.
Thanks again for helping me along with this. If we don't catch up during the day I'll be on in the evening as well.
