the undying half-orc shifter (wolverine)

Advice

I'm working on a build of a shifter whose first aspect is wolverine and focuses on staying up and not dying. I'm thinking of doing for feats

Shifter 1st level- weapon focus(claws)
Unbreakable figher 1st total 2nd B - Endurance B- Diehard
Shifter 2nd total 3rd- power attack
Shifter 4th total 5th- wild vigor
Shifter 6th total 7th- toughness

Should I take some intimidation stuff as well?
or should I go unchained barbarian for the rest?
trying to just figure how I can block/absorb as much damage as possible and still survive. I know I ll need a way of getting energy resistances and some dr as well.

sounds like your trying to make THE wolverine (x-man). if so you might want to try:
-taking the deathless feats (one, two. the 3rd one in the set is only if you'r scared of crits and getting fortification is better anyway)

-getting the reg ioun stone (even the lowest one) and then implant (look lower at this page for info) it in your skin (in someplace no1 can find it... i'll let you figure it out) that way even if your dropped down, as long as the stone is not found and removed - you will come back!!!

Okay, you want Planar Wild Shape.

Planar Wild Shape wrote:

Prerequisite: Wild shape class feature, Knowledge (planes) 5 ranks.

Benefit: When you use wild shape to take the form of an animal, you can expend an additional daily use of your wild shape class feature to add the celestial template or fiendish template to your animal form. (Good druids must use the celestial template, while evil druids must use the fiendish template.) If your form has the celestial template and you score a critical threat against an evil creature while using your form’s natural weapons, you gain a +2 bonus on the attack roll to confirm the critical hit. The same bonus applies if your form has the fiendish template and you score a critical threat against a good creature.

The Shifter gains a buttload of uses per day, so you'll probably not even notice losing two uses per wildshape.

This will give you:

Darkvison*
Damage Reduction
Energy Resistance
Spell Resistance
1/Day Smite Evil or Good

It's even better if you keep a Neutral alignment on the Good/Evil axis, since you can then decide if you want your DR to be /Evil or /Good.

*(You'll lose your Orc racial Darkvision while Wildshaping)

@zza ni

The Ioun Stone works as a Ring of Regeneration, not as the monster ability Regeneration.

So you won't come back to life, but you will become immune to bleed damage and your limbs will regrow. Which is a steal for 3,400 gp.

"Regeneration works like a ring of regeneration. It only cures damage taken while the character is using the stone."

it's doesn't say anything about not working while you are under negative hp (the archive doesn't even say the thing about the ring while the pfsrd20 link the regenerate word to the monster ability.)
as long as it's not removed it should heal any damage taken from the time it is used (and i suggested implanting it to make it harder to find and remove)

Ring of Regeneration wrote:
This white gold ring is generally set with a large green sapphire. When worn, the ring continually allows a living wearer to heal 1 point of damage per round and an equal amount of nonlethal damage. In addition, the wearer is immune to bleed damage while wearing a ring of regeneration. If the wearer loses a limb, an organ, or any other body part while wearing this ring, the ring regenerates it as the spell regenerate. In either case, only damage taken while wearing the ring is regenerated.

if i found a home game I would definitely do that with the deathless feats but since this is for pfs, I don't believe they are legal.

Edit: just double checked and they are completely legal! wtf?
