From my rough reading so far, I’ve found Command Undead and Bind Undead, which allows a character to control already existing undead. But how does one go about Animating/Creating an undead creature for the purposes of either unleashing them upon the general populace, or simply making them wear a fancy suit and serving wine at a dinner party? I don’t want Necromancer PCs to be reliant on their DMs throwing pity skeletons at them every few sessions.
I only wish to please the Pallid Princess.

Bump.
Please, does anyone know how someone is supposed to create skeletons or zombies? The only thing I can find so far is critically failing the Ressurect ritual, and even that doesn’t give the rules for making an undead minion.
I don’f understand how I’m meant to give feedback on Undead minions if I can’t make any.

You can control several minions (up to 4) using the Bind Undead spell. There's plenty of room for giving feedback on minions, which is exactly why they didn't include the Create/Animate spells in the playtest yet. They wanted to know more about how minions worked in play first.

Baby steps.. just gotta dungeon delve to get your undead minions for now. I'm guessing animate dead will pop up in the full version.
i should hope it will show up before the playtest is over, specifically so we can playtest and weigh in on it!
I'd hate to see it come directly in print and officially set in stone at whatever level of uselessness or brokenness their untested version is.
