Getting it to save and restore a trained network didn't work properly in the 90 seconds I devoted to investigating.

My mental model here is, I have a very fancy piece of 1970s hardware that implements the neural network in ridiculously custom chips and a zillion processor boards. This device approximates a refrigerator in size and shape. You turn it on, feed it the text, and see what comes out. If you want to save, you can connect the HP-IB to your desktop calculator and run a BASIC program provided in printout form at the back of the service manual. This program only works on one specific combination of text network and calculator models, which were discontinued long ago but occasionally pop up on eBay (which is where you got the text generating thingie in the first place). You can also connect a plotter but pressing the PLOT button results in eight hours of continuous activity, at the end of which you get a diagram you could have made yourself from a Spirograph.

I've got plenty of examples of how many many years later in the world, but I'm not really involved in the creation of the "the idea" for Pathfinder. I'm not saying that many many many many questions about the rules, but I'm not sure why I'm currently working on the rules at all.

I am confident the result would be the ten best generated items. I am less confident they would be good items.

Would this allow you to circumvent the downsides of the Blackend oracle curse?

It's probably too expensive though.

Would this allow you to circumvent the downsides of the Blackend oracle curse?

It's probably too expensive though.

I don't know, just buy it for 4,500 instead of crafting it for 34,500. It's easily worth it if you have penalties gained from your hands, especially if "allies are immune to damage reduction" means "they ignore damage reduction" rather than "they're immune to spells like stoneskin that would give them damage reduction"

What impresses me about this one is that it actually got the correct associated spell with the item's (sort-of) effect (modify memory), which actually puts it ahead of some actual RPG Superstar submissions I've seen/voted on.

The bot has also applied the template more accurately than some contestants, even if it sometimes gets creative, like putting a spell in the item slot section.

And so far at least, while it doesn't always include the feat, it has always spelled "wondrous" correctly which again puts it ahead of some actual entries.

Yes (which disqualifies it from the bot competition), but it's an interesting one. When wearing the item, it reduces you to 0 hit points, which would render you unconscious but stable. I presume after this point, if you are killed by being dealt enough hit points to kill you, you lose your soul (not once but twice), BUT then are returned to 0 hit points, which makes you alive (but unconscious) again. I guess you're alive, unconscious, but still without a soul?

In other news I am fascinated that so many of RPG Superbot's items are small, metal, or both. I suppose those descriptors happen most often? And yet no "favored by." I wonder what frequency of words there are versus the ones we pick up on.

Somewhere in here is an actual magic item. Less fun than as Superbot wrote it, but something along the lines of (the caster level and pricing needs to be fixed, I'm just playing with the text)...

I am fascinated by the fact that this created a real and functioning link to a false location in Paizo's PRD - or rather, it links to a real page in the PRD, but attempt to direct you to an incorrect/non-existent subsection thereof, that is actually "appropriate" for the spell it's trying to mention (even if the "environment" section has nothing to do with said spell).

That is... weeeeiiiiirrrrrd.
