Following the instructions found here, I'm training a neural network on the text of Elaine Cunningham's Winter Witch. Here are some of the things it's come up with so far.

Majeed continued to fade like a painting carried away through the mist. He followed the wizard and the small skeins of a tiny devil with curly hair. A shudder rippled down Ellasif's face. "Sif," she said, "I need to kill us."

"You don't know how to reach Whitethrone," he said. "I need to find you."

The smell of pine trunks were like an adventurous injured. These are Shoanti.

"I didn't want to frighten you off with me," she said, "And I will."

Ellasif ran outside, a rag doll. "But I should have better northern ass," he said, devising a tone of skywing. "Stand back."

The Varisian's face twisted with rage. He took a welcoming smile from the swords drawn by the bed. He ignored her neck and took Declan to the point. "No," said Declan. He nodded and raised one hand as she heard his voice.

"Let him hope that," Ellasif said. "Please, the council of them may chose you."

Ellasif hesitated, wondering what liv might be a spell.

"I'll take that bundle, b#$@! cub," growled Ellasif. Ellasif ran back to the cottage. The captain burst out laughing Erik's sword, but he uttered a few more moments to stop her from the man's edge.

The man shouted. He started to sing the drake's attention back to the camp. He paused to hover above the coin a spell, one with a shadow that appeared to Isadora's. Knowing what he could reply, was a hero.

Ellasif moved as she said a peered through of toward the point where she could drag him to make his throat. Ellasif wished he'd slid from a warrior's eyes.

The wolf drew a long breath. He sent a glare, but stopped horse and hard on the bench. The dragon's amusement sang, a captain passed along a perch on the ground a southern funeral, and then lay a few syllables that short since he could surely the necromancer he had.

"I don't want to be rescued," said Declan. "And I like it."

Ellasif put the book to the point where her gaze flew toward Ellasif. She glanced toward the window of her sword's dry lips. She glanced toward the window of her sword's hut.

The night sky to her lips. She held it fill her name. "No," said Liv. "I have captured the girl as you bade me." She sheathed her sword and reached into her pocket for a leather thong.

"I'm not worried. "

"Don't be so sure," said Ellasif. "I assumed you have to do everything I can look back in my pack," she said. "We break their skulls," she suggested. "We can deal with that later, but right now has no his words."

"As I'm obstinate, "he said. "and I have already want to help!"

"You are well informed," said Ellasif. She seemed only to her astonishment show her, but she knew she was a magic door. He must have wanted her sister, not that Ellasif had confided her only sister was a warrior's first breath. She could not liv's did, but Ellasif would find that Ellasif's lead if they were the same thing, he supposed he was sure to go. Ellasif hoped they would have overheard him if wrong, all this.

The old woman stepped toward Ellasif's belt, cracked and cracked, she stepped and strode.

Declan froze on their own they outside the city. Ellasif followed him. "I'm going to believe her."

"You weren't there," he said. "She took Ellasif her name?"

"Mareshka is a witch," said Ellasif. "And I will."

"What?" Declan shouted back to the floor. "Maybe?" Olenka sighed. Declan sympathized. She hissed, "I see we can tell you — ! Liv, I will tell you how much more the last of them that."

Ellasif ran back to the village clearing. Warriors forgot their breath away. The troll's arm was in the center of the cliff's head, but not only for the instant.

"I am certain I'm no wizard." He pulled the second cup. "With it did not make a wizard. This is that you will be very well," the house laughed. "Crimson it, you do that, " he said. "She wasn't it, but I think I'd remember casting such a spell."

"Try to get that he was," he said. "Balev had the one who had promised him, but I can do it."

"The big men who have leaned in silence," said Ellasif. "You are needed." Mareshka nodded as if they had struck a bargain. "I will show you." Declan felt a lump rise in his throat. He had seen the warlock fly off with Ellasif. By now she might already be dead and eaten. "This is why we must attack at once," said Jadrek.

The above were all samples hand-picked from various points during the training process. The last thing the network wrote to demonstrate it was completely trained is:

The others stared at her with Olenka. Jadrek lifted her mouth to chin. She smiled and raised her head with interest him in his arms. She pulled him in another woman to his lips, and after a few subsided, laughing, she realized and Liv had Declan hurt and told her a place sword in this and gave her own. I'm now training that same network on Prince of Wolves, by Dave Gross.

Training this network is specified in epochs. I'm using 50 epochs. During training, at the end of each epoch, the network will log some sample generated text at various settings. The lowest setting ends up quoting a lot of the training info. The highest setting often generates gobbledygook, at least early on. And the middle setting, which I believe Goldilocks would approve, is mostly just right.

The text in the previous post was generated at the highest setting, after 50 epochs. Here's the last text generated after the first epoch, at the highest setting:

Some of the best lines are actually quotes from the text, I've discovered. "Majeed continued to fade like a painting carried away through the mist." is one of them.

I think I need to poke the parameters a bit more before continuing, if it's just quoting that's less fun.

This time I'm training a network on both Prince of Wolves and Winter Witch simultaneously. Here are some samples after the very first epoch of training:

"No," said Ellasif. "What?" she said. "that was a little little - . "

"All," said Declan. He was a few of the woman's nose and Olenka's horse was a long hand.

Ooo, unstoppable force vs immovable object: Is there a bot trained to be so scene-chewingly overdramatic (i.e. ShatBot) that not even the Shat himself can talk it into self-destructing?

The network did output those dots.

Right now it's still on epoch 1 of 100, 4,950 out of 161,719 somethings. Python is using around 250 percent of CPU, and we haven't generated a single line of text yet.

While we await the FAWTL goodness surely to come, here is some text from Winter Wolves, epoch 47:

Chapter Sixteen: The hurry, the first-hidden sword queen and a it about Declan before sleep outside the other-lined with them.

When Ellasif saw, Ellasif had no interest in the bonfire.

As he caught the scowl back back, Olenka him and passed a elbow to Declan back -- and then Olenka, who had been hit with her side with his late morning. After a moment, Declan would have felt its way on the way slipped through the other's gloom.. He rose from Olenka and reached into a village, but Ellasif's first thought was that. If Ellasif could do an the opinion, once they said they allowed her turn to Declan, but hadn't so sure it was too to to gloom and. As she understood the troll to the village beside him.

The original FAWTL training set, consisting of the complete text of all six FAWTL threads, ended up being just too much. So now I'm training the network on the text of the most recent thread. After some cleanup it's 394,535 lines of text totalling 7,310,297 words, or 41,218,104 characters. The training set has 9,886,024 word sequences. I'm doing 100 epochs but this time each epoch should take less than a day...

There are a bunch of things like that which I haven't had time to investigate or couldn't get working in the minimal amount of time I'm allowing for this experiment. Including saving and loading a trained network.
