Looks like it takes place after Predator, before or perhaps after Predator 2 based on the shipping packaging. Macon, GA is the recipient - I can't make out the sender clearly other than it was sent from Mexico.
I lack the tools to get a good zoomed-in shot on the shipping label from Mexico, which may have a shipping date on it in small print. :D
I think that the package was sent from Mexico to someone's buddy back in Macon, GA. Not sure which of the earlier characters fits into that description.
My guess - based only on this trailer - is that someone sent this stuff from the wreckage of Predator to their buddy in Georgia. Seems that the alien gear is tough enough to survive a tac-nuke.
Maybe.
The director played a secondary character in Predator, so I have a decent amount of hope for this film.

I liked predators.
I liked PREDATOR, PREDATOR 2 (to an extent) and I really kinda liked PREDATORS. I thought it was very underrated. The ALIENS VS PREDATOR movies I could have done without even thought the second one was more fun than the first.
Shane Black who plays Hawkins in the first movie (the first of Dutch's team to die) wrote LETHAL WEAPON, THE LONG KISS GOODNIGHT, THE LAST BOY SCOUT, wrote and directed KISS KISS BANG BANG and the waaaaaaay underrated THE NICE GUYS is directing and writing this movie.
Needless to say I CANT WAIT.

This gets a strong MEH from me since I was never a huge Shane Black fan...and this movie isn't change that.
I liked all the movies that were specifically focused on the Predators (I thought Alien vs predator was an abomination), so I will probably see this.

People seem to be giving the impression that the Bigger Meaner Predator is something new, but didn't we already see the big mean clan in the last movie (the one on a different planet)

I honestly wouldn't be surprised if the was one with all 4 of them at some point. I'm pretty sure there has been every 2 combination of those 4 already in comic form. Also I think there was a alien vs predator vs terminator already too. Somehow they made terminator aliens sort of which made no sense...
