Double checking myself, but standing up from prone as a move action provokes I think.
If you do it as a full-round action I think it doesn't.
Edit: Can't find anything for standing up as a full round action actually, so looks like the only option is to stand up from prone as a move action that provokes.

In Starfinder, standing up does not provoke an attack of opportunity.
The three actions that do provoke are listed on Page 248: moving out of a threatened square without using a guarded step, making a ranged attack, or casting a spell or using a spell-like ability (that doesn't state otherwise).
Awwww crap, I thought this was the Pathfinder rules forum not Starfinder.

The thread is in the correct forum. The OP posted in and is asking about Starfinder.
Someone who was replying didn't pay attention to which forum this was posted in. The error is in their reply, not in the OP's choice of forums.
If you come to the forums from the 'flattened' view of the front page of all the forums, both the Starfinder and the Pathfinder Rules Forums have an identical tag in the left column.
There is no way to tell which forum the question has been posted in unless you specifically check the page url or the breadcrumb after you have navigated to the new page.
I, and others, pointed this out last summer,(here and here) but the web design team has not implemented a solution to the problem yet.
So it's quite easy to see a question, click on it to answer, and never notice which "Rules Forum" you're in. Both of them are given the simple title "Rules Questions" on the messageboard front page.
