I wonder if it would be worth splitting the posts displaying on the left-hand sidebar into Pathfinder/Starfinder/Online Campaigns (as opposed to the current Messageboards/Online Campaigns split).
I'm sure there will be many threads which are ambiguous. One title currently displaying as I post this is:
Is the "step up" feat now useless?
It's about Starfinder, but it looks like a Pathfinder thread and I could easily imagine people entering the thread without realising which gamesystem was being discussed - which could easily result in confusion and/or people talking past one another.
Oh, I just came here to say this.
I use the "flattened" view of new posts, and use the left column to help sift through the massive numbers of new titles each time I visit.
In the current page design, there is a "Rules" subhead visible, but you have no way of knowing whether it is a Pathfinder rules forum question or a Starfinder rules forum question. I think there are other subheads that are almost identical (but haven't done the actual side-by-side page display research yet).
I don't want to silence the entire Starfinder or Pathfinder forum to solve this ambiguity.

I suspect the Suggestions/Houserules/Homebrew subforum will be needed shortly and will have the same flaw. 'Conversions' seems to be another likely subforum that will be needed
And the Starfinder Society Roleplaying Guild subforum is not housed under Starfinder.
And
a "Recruitment" subforum shows up in the left column. Is that Starfinder recruitment or Pathfinder recruitment.

I think it would be helpful if the Starfinder forums were at least indicated by the Starfinder logo on the left. That would make them easier to find on q auick scroll-down

I agree there's some improvements that could be done to better accommodate those viewing in "focused" and "flattened" forum browsing. Hopefully they're minimal impact enough to make it one of the next software releases. I'll see if I can add in some better indicators in the names as a stop-gap until then.
