Customer Service Team:
I am trying to convert the Interactive Map using Nitro PDF reader so that I can use the maps in Fantasy Grounds 2. However, when I start the export, it says the material is password protected. How can I do this export to JPG map files so that I can use them in my upcoming Fantasy Grounds Game?
Thanks.

Supposedly there is a way, as I mentioned, but I've never found it. I have had success (lately) just using the snapshot tool, but that is really only useful if you want to do a same-size printout because it kills your resolution. It's also a bit of a pain when the tool you use is MS Paint. Argh.

Hello Flynn,
You can read more about why you cannot extract the interactive maps here:
Unfortunately, due to a limitation of the software, image extraction doesn't work with the Interactive Maps. You can use image capture utilities on the Interactive Maps, though, and you can still extract the images from the non-interactive PDFs. If you're viewing the maps in Adobe Acrobat, you can also save the pages as JPEGs (go to File->Export->Image->JPEG) and crop them in an image editing program.
You can also read about the password here:
All Paizo PDFs downloaded through the My Downloads page are secured and watermarked. Passwords are not provided for these PDFs as the security options available to us do not provide enough granularity to allow customers to modify PDFs and also include our security features. Note that you do not require a password to copy text or extract images from watermarked PDFs; if you are unable to do those things, it may be limitation of your PDF viewer.

There are non-Adobe options (including Nitro PDF) that can be used to Extract every image from a PDF (or specific page(s) of a PDF)... it doesn't work with the Interactive Maps (as stated) but it does work with the Adventure Paths (and probably others). Unfortunately this usually includes unfortunate notes that are intended for the GM, as well as Location markers.
