Hello everyone! so i trying to make a good lv 5 Dex based warpriest of Cayden and i need some advice on how to build it. i was originally going to go either swahigator or virtuous bravo. but the former didn't feel right for my character while the latter you can't seem t to worship Cayden or be CG.
so i'm thinking about a muse touch aasimar inspired blade swashbuckler 1/war priest 4 (swashbuckler because i'm addicted to parry and free feats :) )
my stats (after adjusments)
str 9, dex 20, con 16, int 16, wis, 16, cha 16.
but how does one build an effective warpriest, to be honest i haven't even looked at it until two day ago and i was very impress by it.
1)what feats should i take?
2)what archetypes are good for a warpriest? should i take one?
3) traits? (though i heard fates favored and magical knack for multiclassing)
4) spells?
5) tactics?
important notes
1) our DM house ruled at the start of the campaign that we can trade in actions for lower ones so stranded>move action>swift action, so he has confirmed that i can technically cast three spells with a full round action with fervor.
2) not 3PP material allowed.
3) group consist of a arcane/destine bloodrager, a rune/healer cleric, a stranded two handed barbarian, a two handed melee/self buff sorcerer, a Vivisectionist alchemist who crafts alot and a party face/buffing normal bard

Well, there's one slight problem with mixing Inspired Blade and Warpriest:
both classes grant "Weapon Focus" which doesn't stack, if you choose rapiers. Weapon Focus (Rapier) via Inspired Blade is a go-to dip for the Fencer's Grace feat, which gets you Dex-to-Dmg; but won't be applicable for the Warpriest's Divine Weapon.
You could jump into the Cult Leader archetype for the Warpriest and get Sneak Attack in place of Focus Weapon.

Honestly that front line is REALLY crowded. Might want to go ranged, but that doesn't seem to be the character concept. Inspired while nice limits you to the rapier...but that said a really fun way to go would be to take blade and tankard style and two weapon fighting...there are some benefits but what better than singing a offkey raunchy song with a rapier in one hand and wacking the unbelievers with your mug in the other? Ah finesse only applies to the rapier...actually piercing only...bah
Oh to note..inspired would suck for that build a warpiest already gets weapon focus so maybe just a straight swashbuckler. Honestly I think it would be more fun to go straight warpriest and pick up finnesse and then weapon focus tankard along with weapon focus rapier

If you are set on your build the good news is that rapier is your favored weapon, so sacred weapon will automatically apply. The weapon focus you get free should be used for either a backup weapon, a ranged one, or your offhand weapon if you plan to go twf. Arsenal chaplain is a popular archetype, but I would stick vanilla for this build.
If you check the list of guides, there is some good stuff for warpriest there.

Feats you need are TWF and Two Weapon Grace plus Fencing Grace. Maybe dual wield Rapiers with the Possessed Hand and Hand's Autonomy feat to reduce pentalties to -2/-2 and add some damage.
The obligatory trait is Fate's Favored.
Spells: Divine Favor, Ironskin, Channel Vigor, Divine Power
If you take an alignment blessing I'd definitely go Quicken Blessing at Lvl11.
Nice houserule with move action casting. You'll burn through your resources very fast though.
