Lumo just finished his Gameday part 1 game! I'm all ready to start on Friday.

Kahwen's game just finished and I haven't gotten my Chronical sheet yet. I'll need to level him up (should be quick, I know what I'm picking) but it's my wife's birthday so I may not post until Monday.
If you don't want to wait for me, I understand and will give up my spot for a waitlister.

Good news, friends. Some profile spying tells me our GM finished his last game yesterday. Hopefully that means he'll start us off soon.

GM RePete |

Checking to see if there's any change - from looking at the GMs profile...I'm guessing not.
How many are still wanting to go for this and what tier? (In case we need to see about getting rescue GMs...be nice to know how many we're going to need.)

![]() |

I'm still interested! I'm level one, but I'd be willing to play up if need be.

![]() |

I signed up for the 4-5 tier but am willing to play the lower tier if there is an opening. If there is not, then that is fine.
I have a 1 Fighter, a 2 Warpriest, and a 4 or 5 Cleric. Pretty sure he's five.

Did you guys ever get your new GM? I had this tab open after I noticed one of your player's posts a request a couple of days ago, but I think it is buried in a fascinating, in-depth discussion about the merits and shortcomings of Spam just now, and I can't find it anymore. Someone did say they where coming to help by today, right?
If no calls, hit me back with a PM and I'll start it up tomorrow. I had a game I was playing in fall though so I have some free time. Also, lemme know if you still need players to fill the table. Looks like you are aiming low-tier.
Stay thirsty my friends.

Hmmm... I to don't remember who it was. Perhaps I'll wade through the spam. (Hehe spam.)

It was GM RePete, but upon re-reading his post, I think he was just scouting so that he could find a sub for us if it was necessary.
Which it seems to be...

The World's Most Interesting GM |

So, there were 2 tables....
Alright, let me see who is still here first.
I don't know that I have enough time for two right now by myself.

The World's Most Interesting GM |

Well, I just notified everyone (except you three) on both of Deekan's lists so we will see. In the meantime I am putting together my maps and hand outs, have to contact customer service, and put some posts together.
Once everyone who's going to arrives, we'll see what we are doing. One way or another we'll start in earnest tomorrow. Borox stay with your high-tier character for now until we see who shows.

R-r-r-remmy R-r-r-reporting for duty!
Looking forward to playing guys! Gotta get my stuff all updated and loaded up (did some rebuilding from level 1) but can't wait to get started.

I have a two handed fighter who bought a bucketful of weapons after his first game. So, I'm good at killing most things.

I signed up and forgot about it she nice it never got off the ground lol. I have a level 4 (dragon demand) pc I can whip up or a fresh lvl 1. Just let me know which tier and it can be done in a few hours.
:)
If we get most of the folks who signed up we might do both subtiers. The overall adventure structure isn't complex though we are going to have play faster than I normally like.
As a GM I like to let the players dictate the game more than most GMs I find here on the boards, some of whom will place all the tokens in front of what the next encounter and roll initiative. That's not always a bad thing, but it does remove a lot of the choice involved in the game and limits the opportunities for role-playing among the players.
So to be clear, as far as expectations go, I expect players to move their own tokens around (especially in trap-laden dungeon settings) for download Google Slides for your phone and desktop (otherwise you may be able to see but not make changes to the maps).
I really dislike botting people--not because I'm lazy mind you, but because you all signed up for a game and if I have to look up unfamiliar class/archetype rules, and try to image what so-and-so is doing based upon their posts and background, or worry about what happens if I make the wrong choice and accidentally maim your character I don't have as much time left to handle the rest of the game. I will of course bot folks when necessary (as will probably be the case this game because of the span of time allotted us), but bear in mind you are here because you want to play your character in a rollicking good adventure where the choices are yours to make, not watch me compose that novel I should be writing right now in which all the choices are mine. ;)

As far as characters for this particular game go the adventure itself is about as close to a Pirate's of the Caribbean movie as you are likely to get so (if you've got one): pirates, sailors, missionaries, scallywags, seasoned jungle explorers, tomb-raiders and rogues, and for comedic effect, cloistered academics dragged off to gods-forsaken jungles, and dungeons all make good choices.

Kahwen was born in the Shackles and shanghaied to be a luck eater by pirates so this is going to be like going home for him. And he likes to jump around and do dramatic acrobatics so he is very ready to buckle his swash.
Oh, and I like to post at least once a day and more if everyone can get through a turn cycle.

Ooh! Lumo failed out of Gorum's temple(He is not to good with his letters.), but he is trying to earn a second chance. This should be perfect!
Also, I like to post 2-3 times a day, so fast paced is good with me!

Thus far we have:
Tier 1-2
Remmy
Lumo
Kahwen
{Grimdog73}
{yodadragon}
Tier 4-5
Borox

I've got a line out to some other players should our remaining 4-5's not materialize.
I might start 1-2 tonight in some small everyone gets to get time to get know everyone ways, but I am kind of waiting on Paizo customer service to reassign the threads.
Grimdog73, yodadragon, if you could choose your characters and/or get them formatted for play (click on my icon if you have any questions about that) that would be cool.

The World's Most Interesting GM |

Remmy here is a dex based damage dealing occultist. Got a lot of random skills and some trap finding to help out.
So sort of like a regular dermatologist then? ;)

Remmy
Lumo
Kahwen
Conal
Kyra (the best pre-gen ever!)
Tier 4-5
Borox
{Gilthanis}
Tristan
You're fine grim/Conal. Paizo is by their auto reply "experiencing heavy call volumes" and hasn't changed the name under the marquee yet and I would like to tack on a second gameplay thread to the one already here. Also finding a high tier replacement who hasn't played this particular scenario has turned out to be more of a challenge than I had thought.

GREAT SHIVERING SAUSAGES! El Garrapata just got back from dying in Part 2 of Plunder & Peril, and is hankering for a Piratical Adventure of Piratical Plots!
Also, his pirate nickname is now 'El Capitan'.

Have you packed your spoon?
Alright that gets us to our minimum any one-else is gravy (or an ooze, it is hard to tell with grammama's gravy).
Map links (mark with subtiers) are live on my subheader now.

I was originally signed up for 4-5 sub-tier. I wanted to be sure other players had a chance before throwing my hat back into the ring.
When I signed up it was with a melee-type, but I've got a rogue-y option and a ranged option available as well.

Do not make me bull rush you (you know I'll do it too), but if you could be ready later tonight....

A standard marching order is a good idea. I'll have to steal that.
Lumo takes the lead naturally, as Gorum would want, but is not against letting someone else go first if they so wish. Fighters' faces make great trap finders. ;)
