Can I use these boons at any starfinder society event?
These are only for use at a Retail/Store location where PFS/SFS is played. The store does not have to be a game store. One of the groups I play with meets at a local grocery store that has space that customers don't use much.

Sort of.
The Retail Boons (first post) can only be used at a retail location.
The Promotional Boons (second post) can be used at any Starfinder Society game.

Thanks, I was only thinking about the Retail Boons which are still relatively new to people vs the Promotional Boons that have been around for years.

Tonya,
Is there a clean presentation of this that we can keep at the stores or have posted? I was wondering if anyone had made up a graphic or grid that we could laminate and have available for our judges?

Please remember, like all the requests for benefits for the NUMEROUS different widgets and ways of recognizing different volunteers, that there's an element of internal time to decide on and implement these. Currently, my time is more focused on the transition to 2 scenarios/month, along with keeping up to speed with sanctioning and making sure our very aggressive Starfinder Society convention season goes off as well as possible.
That being said, this is something that I'll add to my growing "to do" list. :)

If I could make a suggestion, change the prerequisites to be not so narrow. Something like "Official products sold by Paizo with a Starfinder logo. This includes, but not limited to, t-shirts, messenger bags, dice trays."

Promotional Reroll <snip> Prerequisites: Bring and display a qualifying t-shirt <snip>
For clarity does this mean (as I think) only those listed under 'Starfinder Society T-Shirts' on the perk page (Year of Scoured Stars and Organized Play T-Shirts & Polos) count for starfinder rerolls?
Tonya (as quoted upthread) said that the 'scottys' Space Goblin Blood Orange IPA blood shirt is only good for PFS rerolls, however some players seem to think the three starfinder shirts listed under 'branded T shirts' (Starfinder Logo, Starfinder Space Goblin, Starfinder Space Goblin Blood Orange IPA) also qualify

My opinion (and the way I have been running the few games I managed) has been that all t-shirts qualify for rerolls.
Since the text states that you need to bring and display a qualifying t-shirt and the Merisiel t-shirt is on the list, you can use that t-shirt for rerolls in my starfinder games if you decide to slot that boon. If that's wrong, then the text needs to be updated to reflect that not all qualifying t-shirts qualify.

While I understand that online play is still a new and scary thing for the Society development team, I was wondering how these interact with PbP and Roll20 games, if at all. Are promotional boons effectively banned from any variety of online play?
I could feasibly see Record Keeper being allowed, by providing a screenshot of your My Downloads page, or a screenshot of a watermarked cover page of the PDF, but outside of that it seems like any characters used in online play have 1 less boon slot than all other characters. This also has the effect of making the Acquisitives much worse for online play, as their main bonus is unable to be used. This feels like it is a very unintended effect.
Am I mistaken about how this is handled? If so, how does one "Display" the required items? If I am correct, will we ever see online variants of promotional boons, to give online games the same flexibility as home/event games, and to balance the Acquisitives against the other factions better?

It's actually fairly easy to provide proof for online characters, at least, assuming you're used to playing online and comfortable with technology.
I have a google drive folder for each of my characters with an online version of their character sheet, an online tracking sheet that shows all their purchases/scenarios/boons, a pdf or jpg image of each of their chronicle sheets, and screenshots of my "my downloads" page.
The tracking sheet, character sheet, and folder itself all have built in 'revision history' inside of drive. So, if you really wanted to, you could not only see what they currently say, but see a record for every change ever made to any of them, including time/date stamps. In my own documents, I've even put notes when I've found mistakes I've made and corrected them, as well as when I've added to them over the normal course of play, so you can see a reason why something changed and when it changed and compare it to the info on the OP site.
I could also put in a screenshot of the order with my t-shirt(s) and dataphiles pin, should I ever want to use either boon. And I could always take a picture of myself wearing them with my phone and email the pic to you, if needed. That would have time/date stamp on them automatically. In Roll20, you can also turn on your camera in the game and show yourself wearing it, or open hangouts or skype or facetime, or what have you.
I typically follow the honor system as a GM, but I try to at least set myself up so that my own honor is easily verified and auditable. :)

Any update on this? I just had an enjoyable game, where the GM had to assume that the "Starfinder Society T-Shirts Year of Scoured Stars
Organized Play T-Shirts & Polos " count for the Starfinder reroll boon.EDIT: I have a rather neat shirt with a Starfinder Logo, very classy ^^
Can we get it clarified/changed to make sure that all branded shirts count for all games? Or at least make absolutely sure that there is no confusion that any shirt with the name Starfinder on it is available for SFS games.
Not just the Scoured Stars shirt and the VO shirts.
