Missing sessions lists

Website Feedback

Hey,

I was about to check the session list on a PC, and there were none listed.

Some of my PCs and me as a user, no sessions are listed or missing.

:/

Same for me.

I can however see sessions for an individual character, but not my entire sessions.

Aha I found it under My Pathfinder Society next to My Account.

One of the players at our regular ACG session just informed me that he's not seeing any sessions for his characters. I jumped on and see that I'm having the same issue. My one rpg character shows his sessions but none of my ACG characters are reporting any. Looking at reported sessions shows that they are in the database.

I verified that my own ACG character was listed in the report and it's still there, just doesn't seem to be pulled when the link is clicked next to the character.

I've even gone in and edited a session to see if it would trigger it to be displayed. No dice. I also edited the character to see if that would help. It didn't.

those you ran as a GM no longer show in the avatar list; even under 'my account' there is a problem as you can only see either the player sessions or GM sessions, not both

Silver Crusade

I can't see any of my player sessions on the Sessions tab under my forum id, but I can see them via "my pathfinder society".

Silver Crusade

Is this the right forum to deal with this issue, or is there a tech support contact on the website somewhere?

Hey folks, we apologize for the inconvenience this is causing. The folks who would look into this are currently out of the office for Gen Con. I would expect that this is something that should be prioritized to fix in the next code roll.

Silver Crusade

Thanks Chris. I wasn't sure if your techies would be at GenCon.

It's not super urgent, but I look forward to the fix :)

Glad to hear that this is something that will be fixed, rather than the new format moving forward. My GM sessions are also not showing up on my characters' individual sessions list. Currently the only way to check where I've assigned my GM credits is by looking up each reported session individually, which is a hassle since I sometimes run games and assign the credit to new character numbers, and when I make a new character I find it very helpful if I can cross-check with the site how much credit had been assigned to a character number.

It is a little frustrating, would be very thankful if the goblin techies are able to fix it sooner rather than later.

The issue I'm seeing looks like it might be an issue with how the website is querying a record's sessions when the Sessions link is clicked next to an ACG character. Looking at the Player Sessions tab, all ACG Characters are lumped under the character name "NULL".

If I were a betting man, my money would be on the theory that the Sessions link's query is getting hung up with that Null value.

Add me to the list. All my sessions are gone.

Well, a few sessions remain if I look through individual characters, but none show up in the global sessions view for my account, and the majority of my sessions are gone even when I look through characters.

In any case, I don't intend to report sessions until the issue is resolved.

Likewise on the reporting. I won't know if they'd come through if i can't see them.

I am having the same problem as well

Hey everyone,

I'll be doing some investigation on this shortly. Unfortunately I'll be out of the office until early next week, but once I'm back I'll try and ramp up on this in full. I just wanted to let everyone know that this is on my radar and I'll be looking into it as soon as physically possible. I have a pretty good idea of what might be causing it.

Yay thank you!

Any progress?

+1 to that. :)

I noticed sessions as far back as 2014 went missing from some characters. Others are mostly ok, some lost all of their listings.

Liberty's Edge

It has been stated over on the PFS side of the house that there is a known database problem with reporting of sessions.

Basically, fixing it is not a high priority and we are to stand by.

As always, a physical sheet overrides the website.

It's weird that they bother to retain the whole reporting system if it's not going to be maintained to at least a generally functional/reliable level. Reporting sessions to the database is starting to feel like a tree falling in the forest.

I've put a hold on submitting any of the sessions we've run since this happened because it's feeling like a lot of paperwork with no payoff for anyone. Players aren't able to get useful info from it and Paizo doesn't seem to be using the data for anything.

That we are unable to see the sessions on our end of the website, doesn't mean that they don't get the information they need out of our reports.

Some of the missing sessions in the characters can be found over at GM Sessions. And if I'm a Wizard, that link should work.

So these sessions are still there, not in a way accessible to us,but they're there. =)

I'm missing some sessions too, seems to be mainly gm chronicles.
