Why does it bother you so much that a fantasy character who's specialized in skullduggery and takes a specific trait is able to do something cool without magic? There's a big difference between D&D fantasy (which has rules) and a Bugs Bunny cartoon (which don't).
"Hammerspace" in Pathfinder is granted by magic items and supernatural abilities.
And the rules include the ability to disguise a bow as a walking stick with a DC 25 Bluff check and the appropriate trait

Needles of Fleshgraving are another possibility if you've got a few days notice. Depending on what is deemed "an object" you might need an efficient quiver.

That's a magic item. (No trubs there.)

Simply remove the bow string and use something similar to paper mache to cover the bow. When you get past the guards break the bow out and string it. Since it is a rogue using the bow, it probably a short bow, and probably not even a composite bow. A simple short bow is not that much different than a walking stick. A composite long bow yes, but a simple short bow is pretty much a stick with a couple of notches, and maybe something wrapped around the middle.
